Quite great welcome. Super nice and helpful. Rooms clean, but very old. But still to feel good. Very central close to train station and downtown.

Good value for money. Friendly and helpful Staff. The Double Room was clean and the Mattress comfortable. The Breakfast was rich and good. The Only Shortcoming was that when the Window was open, the Soundscape from the Street with Pizzeria and Games Library … For a long time was very loud. Otherwise, the central Location in the middle of the City is ideal. Parking in the Car park at the Theatre, about 350m away, costs hotel guests €8 a Day.

Super location! A little bit of the years. The rooms are small, but sufficient for a short trip. The breakfast was good, even very good in terms of price. The service was very friendly.

Friendly staff… rich Breakfast… clean rooms… Despite the fact that the hotel is located in the city centre and even up to the night a lot is going on in Würzburg you will not get anything in the rooms… In a minute you are in the pedestrian zone and there is a lot going on… I myself am Often here in the year and also gladly, it can only recommend further.
The price is justified I will continue to stay guest here and often come here.

Unfortunately, I can't give the hotel a good rating, although the reception staff were super friendly and competent! Wi-Fi was also stable. And the bed was comfortable. There are already two stars for this!
Unfortunately, due to capacity problems, I had to inhabit a mini small smoking room without a private bathroom/toilet. This was also correctly stated at the booking and is of course to be taken so, was so discussed. But also mini small smoking rooms and bunk baths can be cleaned clean! For example, in the shower, the whole 4 days hung a long hair on the soap dispenser. At the window sill in the room mold in the corners. Mirror in the room dirty. And so on. From a hotel I just expect a bit more.
Maybe I had an extreme exceptional situation, sick state of the cleaning forces or similar. Maybe sies can do better — but during my visit it was really inadequate. And I'm really not a pathological whiner as you can see from my reviews.

We like to use the hotel because it is so central. Walking distance from the main station in 10 minutes. Wi-Fi is also available free of charge. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The Residence/music college is easily accessible.

Staff at reception very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, this does not outweigh the inferior quality of the rooms. Partial toilet and shower across the hallway, no mini bar, Wi-Fi only sporadically available.

Optimal location to reach everything on foot.

I showed up in Würzburg having no idea where I'd stay or anything. The gentleman at the front desk was MORE than helpful. He let me stash my bags in the lobby and even though my room wasn't going to be available until after 1:00, he provided me with a towel and key so I could take a badly needed shower. When my wife and I returned to Würzburg a few weeks later, I insisted that we stay there because of the hospitality. Folks, I'm not kidding — this place may not have Iranian Beluga Caviar but City Hotel Schönleber does have an immense focus on customer service and happiness. Thank you so much to the gentleman who truly helped me out when I needed it — I won't say your name here, but you know who you are. Vielen dank!

Good location. Convenient to everything. Just remember most hotels don't have a/c. The best reason to stay here the valuable resource, Richard Lehmann, the front desk manager. His laughter was contagious.

Great location, small rooms clean rooms and cozy breakfast. This hotel is in easy walking distance to the residence. Cyclist Note: This hotel caters to bicyclists and there is locked off site storage with the bikes completely out of site behind locked doors.

This simple and cozy hotel is extremely well located (2 blocks from the main train station, within a reasonable distance of the main sights of the city). Staff very friendly and helpful.

Small but very nice hotel. The situation is certainly a plus: Centre in the city (perfect for shopping and going out), close to the most famous sights of Würzburg (residence and fortress Marienberg). The rooms are very quiet, you get with so nothing from the street noise. A negative would be only that hotel garni. Other meals such as breakfast would be very welcome.

We have stayed in a double room and were anything but happy.
The room was extremely small (about 10-12qm), old-fashioned décor and beds (mattresses extremely soft, only around 1, 90 m long) as well as the shower (slightly dirty little place to dry, no shower gel available, ) were in utterly disastrous and have nothing to do with the pictures on the website together.
In addition just renovated hotel which means that the craftsmen on time start hammering, grinding and drilling even on Saturday morning at eight o'clock on the scaffolding next to the window. Not even a pre-information notice at check-in, it could be a little louder because of the renovation was made. Even after repeated inquiries, no other room was us or A monetary discount the unfriendly hotel owner.
Too bad, in fact reasonably friendly staff and the location of the hotel is really good — but due to really totally botched holiday there 0 points here and I recommend any one of the alternative hotels which have neither expensive nor a worse location.
