We were there from 02 to 06.08.20.
We think it is a nice hotel that can be recommended with our experience.
The staff is friendly and it is clean everywhere.
In the evening you can get a good "slumber drink".
At the end there was a lunch.
We found the Hendl class.
Should we come back to Augsburg, we will definitely check in here again.

Nice hotel and great German food.

At our arrival complete amazement over previously made phone reservation! Operation (2) obviously totally overwhelmed. We were completely ignored as guests, other tables were served and also received their food without giving us the opportunity to order. Drinks then arrived after 15 minutes, then we were able to order. Another drink order took 30 minutes. Totally unacceptable and in my eyes more than outrageous — we had a one-year-old baby — after more than an hour of waiting, we had an ordered cream of asparagus soup. The main courses a few minutes later were only to be assessed as mediocrity — my crust roast dry, the dumplings sticky, the sauce from the tin, not homemade.
I can only advise any family to visit this restaurant.
I will not enter any of the operator's premises in the future.

The hotel or The rooms are very modern and new. Price is unfortunately a bit too expensive and the staff is capable of upgrading. Breakfast is freshly prepared and you get everything you need. Wi-Fi very good as good reception in all the hotel and Speed min. 50.000ER line. Overall very pleasant stay.

Point 1: It takes an eternity for the drinks to be absorbed.
Point 2: The food is not worth the money, the salad dressing is a bought and not homemade, rather such an Asia sauce tipped over it. The bull salad is a joke. The meat only came cold, then it was simply thrown into the pan and thus tough.
Point 3: Too few operations, the shop full and only a waitress and the one at the beverage dispenser.
Point 4: When we arrived and said that we had reserved, came in answer: sit down somewhere.

The food was freezing. The pork knuckle was dry and the sauce was more like the color of a tomato sauce. The dumplings cold and like rubber. Disastrous! A good thing to say is the ambiance is very nice and the service is friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are very happy to return. Highly recommended was a nice birthday dinner.

Were here today at the Easter dinner. Only small card because Easter;) but quite sufficient. Relaxed and nice atmosphere! Prices OK, and nice service. Like to come here, the street sale is also highly recommended!

As it seems, we have always had good luck with the food. It has always tasted good and the new ambiance is very cozy and welcoming.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Haunstetter Hof during a week-long business trip to Augsburg. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in was neat and cleaned on a daily basis. As I've been busy for the entirety of the trip I especially enjoyed the comfy bed. Apart from that good Wi-Fi signal all over the place. Other people already mentioned it: the underground car park is quite narrow. There's usually enough parking space in the surrounding residential area though. The restaurant on the ground floor is reasonably priced and offers hearty, regional food. Overall a recommendable hotel.

The staff is really nice and the food is good while being affordable. However, construction work was still not finished at the time of our journey, which made quite some noise during the day and evening.

New and good! The rooms are all okay. The breakfast is okay, but for €10 the scrambled eggs and the bacon should be warm and the selection somewhat more extensive. I hope that this will improve over time. Otherwise recommended! Please pay attention with parking spaces. The underground parking is super cramped and a disaster when driving back out. Parking is a big problem here, which can hardly be changed in the future.

Ambiance with the open kitchen I found great. Here for 5 * But from the food I was sadly disappointed: — (Chicken a little dry (half a chicken on a big plate, the chicken looked like a little pea) and the pasta with cheese had unfortunately very very little cheese: — (Would I go there again? Unfortunately I have to answer No.

Fries were greasy and inside "floury" pork schnitzel was tough.
Crust roast was dry.
Burger was OK.
When we responded to the demand whether it has tasted with not so well… They let us feel that we are no longer fond of seeing.
Had to wait 10 minutes for the bill in spite of the free operation. This was then brought without a word and collected.
Short and sweet: it didn't taste.

This rating is only for the restaurant. Price for half a chicken with french fries, schwabian egg noodles with a lettuce salad, approx. €10.00+/dish. My noodles were greasy and weren't fluffy as they should've been. Also, there wasn't enough cheese nor crispy onions which make schwabian noodles so delicious. The chicken was not freshly made, resulting in dried meat. Unfortunately, the half portion of the chicken just was not fleshy enough. A positive point, the dining area is quite nicely decorated.

A fixed, friendly service. The restaurant is well attended, so booking is very advisable.
The food is delicious and fix at the table. And even the service is never stressed in spite of the locality, but is always friendly:)

Wouldn't you have thought you could sell such bad food for such expensive money. If I read some pre-entry like this, I still can't believe that we too fell for the trick with the veal schnitzel. For a pig's money, there is a meat that is full of flats and absolutely inferior; We too had strong suspicions that it's miserable pork. We asked the service if the chef thought this was a veal cutlet and that we are absolutely dissatisfied. In response, she had alignment, the chef has no problems with it. No discount, no other food, no excuse, nothing. A menu that is varied like that of a cheap fries book, but unfortunately in much inferior quality. Too bad for the furnishings, could have been something, but so: Once and never again.

Very dissatisfied! Restaurant is beautiful but totally built-in! Chicken output in the middle of the passage, should have done it differently, exchange eg beverage output and chicken output.

Beautiful new Hotel/Restaurant on Leipzigerstrasse in Haunstetten. The restaurant is comfortably furnished. There is an open kitchen and next to it there is the chicken bracy (without leaving not). The Möbilair is classically modern. Lighting is pleasant. So the menu has not changed so the good bourgeois cuisine!

Unfortunately, no improvement in food, unlike the old restaurant, it would certainly have been possible with the current kitchen.

Open kitchen and cosy guest room with modern rustic seating. Only the parking situation is still modest, as the underground car park is not yet finished (another 11 parking spaces). The hotel will not open until January 2018.

My room sponge with breadcrumbs were very good. The backhendl also tasted good to colleagues.

Very expensive for a budget hotel (50 euro). Old staircase dirty. Drapes for the window too small. But food is good.

No TV in the room no internet in the room no toilets room. But the service is nice in the restaurant which is downstairs under the rooms. Guys Pay more and try something else! Don't go there! I warn you!

Wanted to spend a beautiful evening today and went to Halabaku farm. After a long wait on the drinks we got instead of cold beer hops tea. But you wanted to give us ice cubes in the glass wheat for cooling. Had ordered after we eat we quickly got the salad but no cutlery. After yet another miracle happen were I turned around the salad and was quickly a few rotting leaves. My vitamin needs covered! End ICH came the SchwabenPfanne, only cold not seasoned and the meat bloody. An hour later we could pay our beautiful evening. Cheers you all to never again see.

Can only join the below written reviews. Rude conditions, overwork in little operation, it is approached is in front of guests in loud Straßencargon and in front of the guests to do not stop… the handling will be placed here on the day before and with the guests is just sad! The food is cold and tastes like nothing! On the whole, "Grotto" meets just fine! Not recommended!

Inflexible in the order and on the bill we had to wait over 30 minutes even though no operation was.

We had dinner a week ago after a long break, once again. New operation (older gentleman) is very unfriendly and exudes a pleasant atmosphere. Toilets are unkempt and disgusting — for the small business it is enough. The chicken are still excellent but the prices for it. The dry chicken in the pan is not recommended. In addition, French fries are served now also newfangled in small deep fryers. This looks nice but on the smaller Portion, you can earn strong because there is only half of the Original Serving of fries fit in… go back to the old scheme back and friendly staff.

Restaurant nicely decorated. Toilets versifft and more than in need of Renovation. Operation is hopelessly overwhelmed. About the Pension, I can not say anything, but the food in the Restaurant is very good and also good affordable.

For 6, 90€ a cheek! The Pfannengyros would be the price/performance ratio which the Portion concerned indeed have been justified, however, was of the “spice mix for Pfannengyros“ of Maggi and a little too much added to the mix, so the whole dish completely ÜBERWÜRTZT and thus inedible. This claimed we, as well, and it was again withdrawn and cancelled. If my partner instead, something else would like to, however, was not even asked. Horrors greetings! The guest house above the restaurant is the outrageously overpriced Hotel I have ever seen in my life. Horrible stairs, hallway, ancient vermoderte carpets, doors are terrible, rooms dirty, ugly, old-fashioned, wardrobe and vanity Cabinet is broken, dirty, scratched and almost falls apart, no lamps bulb, no curtains, blinds or similar window and window sill peeling off, bathroom sink smells like sewer, sink broken wobbles from the Ties and it does not flow fast water, toilets terrible for some, it stinks enormous, ancient beds, the mattresses are uncomfortable you can feel the wires of the suspension system, shower ecklig and Duschschiebetüre broken, clogged drain. I don't know how other reviews on "excellent" — the Haunstetter Hof is not a Hotel, but overpriced Flophouse for this more bad than right state! Rooms and hallways are bare and dirty, more broken than intact, not even a curtain, blind and broken, and therefore does not exist. Shared showers and toilet on the corridor are horrible, not clean, in the bathroom of the Siphon of the sink is leaking, a lamp holder connected to a Blockklemme from the wall, shower no holder for the shower head. In the room the sink must be supported because otherwise it from the wall, a degree of time bed and box in the room, you must have all of his stuff on the ground to distribute.
