The hotel is recommended.
Accommodation is good. Dispartial in my opinion of the slightly too small breakfast room.

Absolutely good value for money. Was already in the hotel at 11am and asked if I could put myself in a corner with the laptop to work a little bit. I was immediately very kindly offered a place in the lounge with power socket for the laptop and free coffee or cappuchino as much as I wanted. There were delicious apples in a bowl of which you could take yourself and I immediately had a free parking space for my big van right in front of the hotel. What I've never experienced like this before! Later I was kindly asked if I would like to move into my room — the check in proceeded totally uncomplicated and friendly and then I was informed that everything that would be in the mini bar would be free for the guests. I was real baff. The room was medium in size, very clean — not necessarily my taste — dark laminate or real wood floor with light wood furniture. But the next surprise came at night. Normal running is my coming home from every hotel and looking forward to my own bed and my approximately €1 000 mattress in my bed. And this time: I slept so well and stayed — when I got home — I thought the other way around. Man what have the mattresses in this hotel and why do I feel worse on my own than on the one in the hotel!
In the evening I was still in the pool and sauna area. It is small, old-fashioned and the sauna is really mini. The pool is scozz with four to five swimming moves. But again a surprise in the shower.

A great hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Duomo (who would have thought that). Wonderful view over the old town of Augsburg. 5 minutes to the Augsburg living Room: The town Hall square with Town Hall and Perlachturm (by Elias Holl). The Mozart House is just around the corner of the hotel.

A very convenient location. Near subway, city centre, many cafes. Opposite the grocery store. Good three star hotel. If the room is renovated, then all is well. Has its own paid Parking.

Nice hotel with all modern amenities, bug clean rooms, middle of the city of Augsburg so getting a meal or catching a tram is easy, friendly service.

Unfortunately we did not feel comfortable in this hotel. There are few parking spaces in front of the hotel and a very narrow parking garage.
We were over the weekend there.
Since we were 10 people, we asked if it would be possible to sit together at breakfast.
We then got a very gruff answer, which would not be possible, and we should look at it early.
You don't drive away with your friends, and then everyone is sitting at another table.
In the evening we sat in the common room. There you could find a coffee machine which was very good. There were some more people later, and when we asked the front desk if we could have a few clean cups… We were told by a very unhhöflichen man, we should take our old cups! … And when there are no fresh cups left. No more! The words are really missing! At 11pm, we and other hotel guests were informed that we could not stay here now because this room is now closed. So everyone had to go to his room.
Well, I also want to write something positive: The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The drinks available in the minibar was also good.
But it is also good to make such experiences, there are thank God still other hotels that are happy and friendly when guests come.

If I could, I'd add another star.
The Dom Hotel is top class!
The staff at the reception are very nice, competent, flexible and friendly. Even extraordinary wishes are fulfilled if possible.
The rooms are very clean. All the staff is nice and accommodating.
The breakfast buffet is varied, diverse, tasty and classy. Also to the staff in the kitchen a great compliment. Here too, small extra requests were promptly and affectionately fulfilled.
The view from the hotel (upper floors) is beautiful. The hotel is centrally located in Augsburg, yet a bit away from the busy streets.
When I come back to Augsburg, I know exactly where I will book my accommodation.
The other passengers join in with this praise.

A nice and centrally located hotel in Augsburg. The staff is very friendly, families are welcome. We went to three with our daughter, 3 years, and had booked the room 302. The room is very quiet and relatively large, with a double bedroom and a room with a sofa bed and dining table. The minibar and WLAN are included in the price as well as the rich breakfast. Great is the available and usable indoor pool, it is large enough and heated. The sauna is activated at the guest's request and is therefore also available. A parking garage for 6 EUR per day completes the stay, as the car is safe and dry.

Unfortunately I do not see where are the stars in the room. Interesting for the indoor pool sauna. But then the rest for our room reminds me more of a motel with TV than a 3 star hotel. The hotel to be renovated in the years 70, the electrical outlets are scary, the bedding is horrible, the cushions make an astronomical size (unusable) A room under the roof pretty scary. The bathroom is vintage, carpet D period, the phone too. No air conditioning (heat in the room). 2 positive points large room and the terrace. The rest is disappointing at 100 euro at night with breakfast (very poor quality), ç is exaggerated it is worth up to 70 EUR.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. For the most part, the staff was very attentive and nice, but the hotel is not staffed 24 hours a day. When they go home, you don't have access to anything. They closed off the coffee lobby the front door, etc etc. The parking is extremely limited. The front parking lot can hold 10 cars and the garage that belongs to the hotel can hold 16 cars. This garage will cost you €6 per night. All of it fills up very quickly and you are forced to use a parking lot down the street, about a 5 or 10 minute walk, and it will cost you 60 cents per hour. Having said that, almost no hotel in Augsburg has sufficient parking. There is one hotel with 200 rooms that has 0 parking. The breakfast is good and lasts three and a half hours. That's good if you want to sleep in. There is an indoor pool and sauna and the sauna is fantastic! If you come here in the summertime, see if you can borrow a fan from the staff. There is no air conditioning. The hotel is over 500 years old, but don't expect to see any antiques when you come in. The inside is completely remodeled probably in the 1970s and is done in a modern fashion. There are two types of rooms in the hotel. The nice rooms have a sitting area as you walked in the door and then your bed and bathroom are up up a stairway. If you have a lot of luggage this is not a good thing. In my opinion, the lesser rooms are better if you have luggage.

Super Hotel. Great room, great hospitality and assistance in case of a medical emergency. Breakfast is a dream. Thank you for the time here!

Single room, French bed, comfortable. Cleanliness, balcony, view of Augsburg Cathedral. Nice receptionist, perfect English, lots of advice and information. Central Hotel, parking.

Travelling in a couple, this hotel seduced us by location, charm, benefits (without supplement) as the pool and sauna (towels made available and loan of bathrobes and slippers in towel), the quality and diversity of breakfast and the friendliness of its staff. The room is very comfortable, well equipped, the bathroom also. Without hesitation, if I go back to Augsburg, then in this hotel!

Schnelles WLAN, freundliches Personal und gratis Minibar!

I've been guest of Dom Hotel many times for business reasons but also as private person, meaning with collegues but also with my husband and baby. Compared to all other major hotels in Augsburg, at which I also had to stay sometimes, Dom Hotel is by far the best. The staff is absolutely supportive, especially when we were there with our baby. The rooms are spacious, everything is clean and the services that are included by default are a really nice addition (free pool and sauna, free internet connection, free minibar). The location is very central with close by tram stop. Of course there is some street noise, but I'd say if someone is looking for a hotel in the city center one can't expect the quiteness of country side. All in all I can only recommend this place and I will definatly come back there again!
