Really amazing hotel! Beautiful views! Hospitality is great!

We stayed one night in the main house of the Traube Tonbach. Grand comfort double room with a view. Although in the charm of the 90s but clean, comfortable (except for the bed. The mattress was too hard for me) and good size. (Room 521). Reception was good, staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner very very good. Certainly the strength of the hotel! The spa is also good. Outdoor pool also getting old. Interiors partially modernized. Various saunas and steam baths available. Relaxation room very chic. All in all a hotel which you can recommend at any time. Still an icon in terms of gastronomy and the hotel industry!

Exceptional! The welcome, the benefits of high quality, the Michelin-starred restaurant is a delight, the spa and pool great! The excellent cocktails, and fine wines, well-selected! All in a green setting! In short, I highly recommend it!

Staff is wonderful, pleasant, and aim to please. Owners are always present and checked in on us throughout our stay. Hotel room was cleaned quickly every day and fresh towels provided each day without request. Only potential pitfall is the ideal of A/C in summer months but staff was quick to give us a fan for the room. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Eating in one of your restaurants is a culinary art pleasure added to the delight of being in with the cherished one.

We had a wonderful stay in this 5-sthouse, even if the room unfortunately did not meet our expectations. Throughout the hotel area we have experienced such a friendly and professional service, which must be unparalleled. The food in the restaurants Silberberg and Köhlerstube was also excellent. Unfortunately, the Schwarzwaldstube was closed, so we have to come again. We liked it!

The hotel a dream; the food world class. Great in winter; great in summer. Says it all. We'll be back. And not only because of the kindness; the great service, but also because here is handled with children and the concerns of the guests are perfectly addressed.

I've been to this hotel for a school project. We were shown the restaurants, a room and we were exposed their services. Place immersed in silence and recommended for those who want to get away from the routine. The service is professional.

Wonderful Hotel with perfect Service. Target is certainly more suitable for Hikers and Cyclists, who find there but a wonderful Environment with well-developed Hiking Trails point In some Areas there is certainly still a Modernization Backlog, but perhaps also the Effort for a Regional hotel Environment.

Service Top Personal Top New Spa Area Top. The main building, in particular the spa there, is in need of renovation or No longer up-to-date.

Exquisite! Delicious food. Lovely rooms and variety of spa services. I really enjoyed the steam and sauna. My favorite is the scented steam room (maybe eucalyptus? ) Such a relaxing place. It’s also very easy to eat here. The food is plentiful and so are the deserts;) The cleanest hotel I have ever been in. I am thankful that many of the staff speak English. Primary inconvenience is the spotty internet connection.

The food is at a high level. Above all, the staff is outstanding. Six service forces, including sommelier Stéphane Gass and Maître David Breuer, are available for the 11 tables in the Black Forest parlour. Each individual is above average qualified, and all of them radiate a sovereign calm.

If you sit in a hotel at breakfast with over 300 employees and both the restaurant manager, the gastronomic manager, the authorized representative and accountant, as well as the chef himself take care of the guests, even occasionally clear plates, then you are in one of the best German hotels and feel simply picked up and like to be a guest…

It's worth a trip. Service Top! Food was great! Atmosphere was relaxed. Pure recreation were 3 days over Pentecost there.

A little expensive for what it was! The spa was exceptional. Three star Michelin restaurant was not that great, but nice with great views.

It is a very well-known wellness hotel in the Black Forest; in a beautiful location with very motivated, nice, helpful and friendly staff. The entire area, which is much larger than you think, is simply a pure oasis of well-being.
The café (Jan/Feb) is in more modern architecture with a dream view, as well as from most rooms. In the season (March to Dec) it is in the romantically warm furnished "Old House" where it has always been. *Both cafés are only recommended*!
The hotel and restaurant — you (n and woman) feel like on cloud 7!
If I had to look for criticism, it was only the point that the parking spaces should be more, but that hardly matters because everything else just deserves more than 5 stars!

Hotel has lost Quality. We missed many little things, attention etc Disappointed. "earlier" was probably much better.

For the third anniversary we were in the Black Forest parlor! The team is Sensational. The kitchen indescribable and the entire hotel just the Hammer. We love it. Thanks to the whole Team. We will certainly come back!

A second home for us! For the first time in the house Kohlwald slept! We were absolutely thrilled! And the restaurants Köhler Stube and Black Forest parlour are indescribable! Tonbach is always worth the trip! We'll Be back soon!

Location was easy to find with parking out front. Our reservation was waiting at the restaurant and the food was incredible! Staff was incredibly helpful and courteous.

Just great Hotel. We felt very comfortable. Shameful as some people rate here and evaluate things that have nothing to do with the actual thing. The house Kohlwald with its own textile spa very very modern and very nice. Half board is truly delicious and the decision about the Black Forest parlor is absolutely correct. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will visit the house again. Lonely Lace.

The tragedy of the second act takes its course:
Now Mrs. Welfare has to look for labour law protection at the Labour court in Pforzheim in order to get an adequate job back.
The impression is that it now has to be a "victim" for her husband.
Just plain shabby, and again reveals the character of the end in the grape Tonbach kg.
But above all, H. Finkbeiner would have to know: The red card is always drawn after the step.
But some people never seem to learn.

My family has booked a birthday within our family circle this hotel — / resort & spa a few years ago hotel.
I felt the hotel from was then seen as perfect.
Associated with the hotel restaurant "Schwarzwaldstube" by Chéf Dé Cuissine Harald Wohlfahrt is a hit! Should there be booked "want" "I" recommend them also the Schwarzwaldstube
A vintage I was offered at the time as an "adolescent" by "Grapes"

This is quite simple. This is the best restaurant in all of Germany. Creative cuisine all highest level. It doesn't get any better.

Incredible service great food delicious wine not a single reason to complain.

The 22.12.2014 was the definitive culinary highlight in the last 18 months for me and my family. We are fond of Star chefs to the guest — Harald Wohlfahrt was however a visit to Mount Olympus. Here probably still quite a few things can learn some hip Szenekoch — above all: respect for what to cook. For me as hobby Cook a reminder that I do not want to miss. Can I apply for an internship?

I was there for dinner and it tasted particularly well.

I have no idea of this type of gastronomy, but live to experience this high society has ended up there myself. And worth a trip just to watch these people.

And still a 6th star to me…!
Everyone likes good eats should in his life once (in favor of course more often) in a restaurant 3 stars have eaten. The Schwarzwaldstube was my first 3-star restaurant, I was 30 years old and with a good friend there. We had no real idea what awaits us, so we ate before Nice a thick, sandwiches bread rolls, to become also fed up "with these mini portions"…! It was then quite different after 4 rounds and a little bit of bread we were already platt… aber infinitely happy and excited! This relaxed and cheerful atmosphere in the restaurant, the Nice, relaxing way by our Maître Mr Fischer (his successor makes it great, I must say) … und of course the incredibly great food, what we (as we were previously in any star restaurant) so didn't know! I visited since restaurants have regular guest in the Schwarzwaldstube, also 5 other 3-star I'm pleased, but not the mood is so relaxed, unobtrusive and comforting… Me a hat off for this consistently great performance and a thanks to the determined 10 great lunch and evenings in Baiersbronn!

We stayed in this beautiful hotel several times now and absolutely love it! The hotel is a calm, peaceful retreat — perfect for a very relaxing time. Everything is very high standard — from the beautiful interior and decoration to the incredibly friendly staff and the wonderful cuisine.

When we stayed at the hotel Traube Tonbach, it was a must to visit in the Schwarzwaldstube. Harald Wohlfart is one of the best chefs in Europe and who has not enjoyed its light and modern cuisine, which is missing something. The refined atmosphere fit to the refined atmosphere of the entire hotel. The restaurant offered lunch and exquisite dinner. Who want to dine in the Schwarzwaldstube, should keep well filled its purse strings. I felt very good at the flamboyant restaurant. What was served on plates that looked like a work of art and also the wine cellar could be seen.
