The rooms are no longer the newest but pleasantly furnished, only the lighting could be somewhat repaired. The breakfast was good and lush, as well as the prices for the underground parking. The daily Price is €19.

The hotel looked really old and didn't seem that luxurious. The Wi-Fi didn't work well either.

The best. There are many shops nearby. And SIM supermarket are available before 10pm, every day, from Monday to Saturday. Super.

Old but clean rooms; bathroom is big enough, but has a combined bathtub and shower. The selection at thr breakfast is good.

Overnight after private celebration €19 parking garage per night, is OK for Karlsruhe conditions. Reception, foyer, bar, breakfast restaurant, halls are all modernly furnished. Elevators, doors, carpets could be refurbished. The breakfast buffet is rich and delicious, fresh coffee, tea, bacon, eggs, buns, Bilchermüsli, roasted sausages, cereals, cheese and sausage lining saturate the stomach adequately. The staff is attentive and nice. International guests can continue to book with English on the internet offering very good rates on weekends.

A bit old building with old-style furniture and bed was not the most comfortable but it was an ok average stay.

The rooms are spacious, equipped for a hotel of this class normal. I have hardly any negative points, but also nothing that distinguishes the hotel particularly. Average level, you can't do so much wrong.

Middle of main street. Acces very easy. Welcome candy inside in your room. Clean, enough space each room. Public transfer only 10m!

Hotel Although somewhat in the years, but very friendly staff at the reception. Room and bathroom quite large and clean. Comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi. I found the small kettle in the room. Soluble coffee, tea bags, for free use. Shopping center and China restaurant with delicious buffet directly opposite. Negative: Underground garage to Hotel €19 p. Day, breakfast not included in the booking. €17 p. P. Too expensive!. Positive: 10 min. Walk, to the city centre, or by tram, which stops directly in front of the hotel. Happy to be back!

A little bit old but clean hotel. Good transfer to Baden airport by S8 tram, station in front of the hotel. 20-30 min to the city center. Supermarket works till 22:00 opposite the hotel. Nice restaurant. Good equipped rooms — an iron set, complimentary water, tee and coffee. Noise rooms near the elevator. Expensive breakfast.

I was traveling for work. There are many good places to eat and shop nearby. The hotel was very clean.

I was staying for a symposium, including a rich and very tasty dinner and sleeping overnight. The room was clean, the service during the symposium and the dinner was just top notch, and after the dinner we had the opportunity to stay and enjoy the bar. The event had 180 participants and the hotel was offering everything you need for it. I think this was the upper limit for the size of the event that can be supported by the location.

Well placed, nice staff and restaurant quality, only fault a deafening noise in the rooms as close to washing machines.

Very nice hotel in a good location. Unfortunately something höherpreisig but still acceptable. The railway station is just outside the door and could be no closer. Total satisfaction!

We were staing in the hotel atvthe last summer. We been 3 adults and 1 kid so the hotel gace us a extra room at no charge for us. Also the breakfast are great. They are baking there own food every morning. Great hotel in great price!

We and other members of our family have stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Karlsruhe many times over the last 15 years. We have never been disappointed. There is always a warm and professional welcome. Nothing is too much trouble to make one feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is ideally sited in the city within easy reach of shops, museums, parks and art galleries. Please go and stay there and find out for yourself! Jean-Elizabeth Williams (Last).

Worst hotel in the world, I can almost say: (. ).

The worst Marriott I've stayed at. I realize one must modify expectations and standards for European hotels compared to their U. S. Counterparts; yet when choosing a Marriott property the expectations should not be diminished by a half. The hotel has no control over the street construction and resulting problems navigating around the property. The hotel can try and make the best of it. The street on the East side of the building is tore up and down to one lane, making access to the entrance and even the hotel parking lot very very difficult. There is zero signage or suggestion where to go or how to access a place to get checked in and parking access. The room was Euro-small and properly appointed, but the heat had been turned on and no adjustment to the thermostat could turn it off. The evening was in the low 70's and the last thing the already warm room needed was a non-stop furnace. Upon discussion with the front staff they said, "we can't fix it, please take this knob for your window and open it as much as possible…hopefully it will cool down tonight". Wifi was slow and challenging, and noise from neighbors was certainly more than I am used to at even lesser hotels. The following morning, instead of the usual fast check out with the bill under the door or even checking out via the TV, you had to go to the front desk. I didn't think much about it until I arrived downstairs and found a line of 18 people all waiting to check out as well.

The House has left his best times behind him. Very frowzy already in the entrance area. The staff is mediocre and therefore the prescribed standard / prices not worthy. Rooms are small and uncomfortable. Was expecting more for the price.
