This is a must stay in Karlsruhe! Room was spacious, had TVs in bedroom and main room, clean and even with a small balcony! Breakfast was superb, staff was friendly and helpful. We even borrowed their bikes everyday we were there, made exploring the city even more fun. Even had kid bikes! The gym was spacious but could be updated. I will forever stay here every time we come back to my husbands hometown. :)

The Kaiserhof is a traditional house that has gone with the times. The modern, dignified equipment of my room has been promised, unfortunately construction work is essential if you want to go with the times. So there was the scaffolding right in front of my window, on which, by its very nature, hard and noisy work is done. A small offer of compensation (culinary, financial, free parking, etc. ) would not have cost much but made a difference. Luckily, I found refuge in the small wellness area, which is clean and inviting (tea/water bar). Unfortunately, I had to park in the car park around the corner, which meant some inconvenience with large luggage. The great location of the hotel then invited to the spontaneous morning run in the castle park, so that a positive overall impression remained.

The traditional German food and beer are amazing. The only downsize is that there is no AC and if you don’t eat early it can get hot and steamy in the restaurant. I ate lunch at 11:30 and it was just starting to warm up when I left.

Very good quality of living. I was driving in an open parking lot on the ground floor next to the hotel, which, although at my own expense, was not expensive at 15 euros a night in the city centre. The hotel room quality is very good, coffee is free, minibar is free, live in the room to send a box of fruit and snacks. There is also a JBL blue bud stereo that can be used, and the lamp is Ikea's wireless charging and usb charging stand. The only drawback is that there is no air-conditioning, only fans, but Asians don't feel hot even in summer.

Whilst the location was very good we found the ambience of the hotel disappointing. Everything felt, and looked 'tired'. The breakfast room was in the basement, along a warren of corridors. The tables were so close to each other; one felt awkward conversing privately with ones partner!

It's been a very good and fantastic hotel and everything has been so perfect. Then you are straight into the city center. Reals great. And also that wellness is ok.

What a surprise. This place was fantastic — clean, large rooms (booked the suite, not sure what other rooms were like), service was great, and the price was fantastic. It's not a five-star experience, and it's not supposed to be. I was a little cautious at the lobby but this was a great find. I'll be booking here every time I come through Karlsruhe. Great location, great staff, and comfortable, modern clean rooms. Can't ask for more.

Very nice rooms. Access to sauna and steam bath. Good fitness room. Very nice breakfast.

Clean leaves to be desired, see pictures. Despite booking a non-smoking room was a smoking room. The room was very big for this. Wi-Fi free. Hotel and facility very old. Unfortunately only a bathrobe in the room. At my request on arrival, a further to bring a bathrobe in the room, this was forgotten. After I asked about it again, he was then taken. Minibar was free (2 x Cola 1 x, 1 x, Apple Spritzer, 1 x beer) garage close to the hotel will cost 12 euros. Sauna open only for evening.

Hotel a bit dated but good hospitality and good value for money. Central location.

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed the little things that make it a four star hotel. Nearby construction (as of Aug 2015) is loud during day but stopped in evening and night.

My family gave vouchers for breakfast. Since they were already 1.5 years old, I asked for telephone reservations, whether redemption is possible.
This was bejat.
We were breakfast with six persons in total. Aside, the fact that already cold, the salmon was spoiled the eggs, breakfast was wonderful.
Unfortunately were the vouchers not accepted. Explanatory statement there was a change of ownership, there is no a vetragliche takeover of liabilities (vouchers). We got the phone number of the previous owner, to clarify these Angelenheit themselves.
Good quality, sustainable, customer-oriented service error display. True to the motto: "Customer release by us caused problem but even better to do ham and do with the owners want to do nothing more having"
A very short-sighted way of thinking.
So, after much discussion, we had to pay and have more discussions with the previous owner.
From a simple Fruhstücksgeschenk was a unnecessarily complicated thing that has robbed some time of our leisure time.
The solution to the problem, we need to go to the restaurant of the previous owner and redeem the vouchers.
In other words, we pay twice and are forced to go have breakfast with one of the people who brought us.
Because the negative us much uberwiegt, I can not recommend this restaurant.

Room was not a 4 star standard and room rate was not justified. Breakfast and staff very well. Hotel is centrally located and well to achieve various goals.

Eat well — roast meat, unfortunately, not Medium — and food in the whole Butterlastig Service good.

A nice place next to the city center. Unfortunately, the entire area is littered with construction sites, which does nothing to improve the atmosphere.

Food OK but for the price sosolala.

Hotel needs renovation. Room was silent (located at the backyard), Bed was too soft, but still acceptable. Breakfast was included, but I was missing fresh coffee with warm milk. There was only pre brewed coffee and an elder automat. Elevator makes interesting noise. Not the best option but still ok to stay at.

We were able to appreciate clean bright rooms offering everything what one can expect so, and a little more! It is very friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast is rich and very tasty with a twist! The location is very central for the an or the nearby tram can be disturbing to others, for us, thankfully, this was not the case.

. The said table was available. An apology, in spite of complaint. The waiting time for Ordering, as well as the first drinks round was much too long — even though the Restaurant was only half full. The soups were not hot — the taste, however good. The side dish to the main course was too little, according to the complaint, the French fries came much too late. A ordered, a salad came out, would later have been settled. The plates were not properly clean and had the prints a Patina/finger. As a conclusion, you have to good food to say: too expensive with bad Service. In Karlsruhe there is better, we all were nine very disappointed and will not visit the restaurant again. For your Info: this assessment was created after the new opening in November.

Awesome centrally, directly on the market square. There is nothing what you miss on the menu. All skewers are cooked fresh and tours are possible without any problems and that at an unparalleled price — performance ratio. Of course, are also all beers on tap and an incredible variety of other drinks. For me one of the best if not the best restaurant in Karlsruhe.
