Great food and great service, very well also suitable for vegetarians, individual wishes are taken into account.

Very friendly service, coffee, and black forest cherry very well. In the light of the Corona-related Situation okay.

We were spoiled with a dream delivered lunch. The food is absolutely top. Delivery to the Minute, and this with a super friendly Service. In any case, to recommend.

There is also a sauna and covered parking… spectacular!

Top hotel, very clean, great furnished rooms, super nice staff. Fantastic breakfast and abundant. And the location of the hotel a dream, very quietly located and a mega view of Esslingen. With one of the most beautiful hotels where we have stayed so far. Price-performance ratio is fully justified. Come back gladly.

Very nice location. The steamed salmon is recommended, but slightly expensive in terms of price. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Nice place to stay, but far from city center.

The food in the restaurant is unacceptable. Here, less freshly cooked is cooked than warmed up. Accordingly, meat becomes hard and fish dry. Our second visit and attempt will also have been the last.

Nice Hotel in countryside.

You sit very nicely on the Terrace and have a magnificent View. The Service is nice and friendly. Just from the Food, I was pretty disappointed. Only Matjes ordered, tried a Bite and let go back as unpalatable, as the Matjesfillet has tasted bitter and trany. As an Alternative, then ordered the Mule bags in the Broth. They were not bad, but not my Thing in terms of taste. Too little Spinach, too compact and too tasteful based on the Liver sausage. If the Food were better, I would certainly like to stop there.

A very cosy Hotel in a wonderful Location. From some Rooms you have a great View over the Esslinger Valley. The Rooms are comfortably furnished and very clean. In the adjacent Restaurant you can satisfy your Hunger. In good Weather, you can end the Day in the Beer Garden (Self-service). Definitely worth a Visit!

A tremendously quiet and cosy hotel with spectacular views.
The entrance to the hotel is close to the kitchen area and smells of game meats and mushroom sauces make you want to try the entire menu only from the front desk.
The room was spotlessly clean and all well placed in place. It was extremely quiet and the silence was one of the things we liked the most. One can sleep tremendously well. By the silence and by the great comfort of the beds they are huge.
The restaurant is simply spectacular, they have a Bar area and a dining area both very cozy. The waiters were tremendously friendly and helpful even though our level of German was really nil, but we manage pretty good at regulating English. The food was spectacular every day we ate there. All. The best is the cakes and the apfelstrudel that you can not miss.
Extremely recommendable.

In this location one sits very nice and the Italian waiter a force, his recommendation paired with wit & cordiality makes the everyday life forget. Thank you.

A weak, simple restoration!
In the so-called beer garden, only the word beer is correct. Otherwise you would rather bring imaginative!

Super Lage und leckeres Essen, gerne wieder!

We were eating roast yesterday. It was super delicious. Top quality. The service is perfect; it can't be better. Look forward to the beer garden season.

We were there only after a hike to drink coffee. The service was fast and attentive and the ambiance there is very cozy.

The location is really fantastic. Far away from the noise of the city and a great view. The food was also very good. These weeks in February are the birthday weeks with different dishes for 11, €11. Service was very accommodating and friendly. Parking spaces and underground parking are available. The rooms are functional and spacious and nicely renovated. I'm sure it won't be the last time.

Friendly staff. Parking spaces just outside the door. Room modern, good bed. The onion roast with fried potatoes and gravy was the worst I've ever eaten. The bathroom with toilet reeked of urine — disgusting. The WLAN is too slow even for normal web browsing. A bitter disappointment after a long and hard working day… (January 2018)

I was 2018 guest in the Hunter's home from the 13th — 14th January. When I had read the door opening card in the room, the light went on, but at the same time also the TV. The remote control did not work, I could not turn off the device or adjust the volume. So I could neither watch TV (sound too soft) nor write an article, because the silent jabbering of the TV did not let any concentrated work. The lower edge of the shower was filled with mold. Disgusting!

A very nice boutique hotel with very good service. The condition of the room is very good, the cleanliness is just as good. The rooms, however, are not very large — the designation of the suite does not fit in my view. Still, I would book right back!

The hotel room and restaurant are great. Modern and beautifully decorated. The food is very tasty and valuable. Only the bed did not get us because it was too soft.

Nice Stuff and Lovely Location.

The view over the city is beautiful and probably one the best in the Esslingen Area. There is a seperation between a restaurant and a small "Biergarten". We've been to the Biergarten for a small snack an beer. Everything tasted quite well and the general atmosphere was also really great.

Wi-Fi is working at all in room 217, or null data throughput. Everything else is OK.

A nicely decorated restaurant. The food and beer was tasty and not too expensive.
I would go back there to eat.

The food itself was really great, but the portions would be twice. The roast was maybe 120g — the fried potatoes to it consisted of a potato and a large salad was bigger than the salad at the table. We had almost all still hungry. The last years was not so. Too bad!

Yesterday we were on a cup of coffee in the Jägerhaus.
The cake was really tasty but the staff impossible.
The grubby table was not wiped off, the coffee was spilled over the cake. The onion cake, there was a mouldy tomatoes. When we claimed this was not an excuse. A colleague had just laughed, then the tomato has been disposed.
When you pay, we gave then aware no tip which the waiter is then given in the form of €1 to little return itself.
I called then the euro, again no excuse: — ()
Well I would say the location is checked!

Summer 2014: Unfortunately I must forgive here a relatively poor rating. We were in the self-service beer garden and have set us therefore already on a generally somewhat poorer quality. We have eaten Curry sausage, French fries, dumplings, potato salad. The dumplings do not go, so here the supplier or own production must be changed. Currywurst: usual o Brien, was quite OK, fries were OK, the potato salad was somewhat. The beer garden is beautiful, a drink goes at any time but food no longer are we in the Jägerhaus, restaurant or in the beer garden. (Have been our disappointment experienced in two parts)
