Classic standard German family hotel. Very clean, friendly service and a great view of the mountains!

Great view of the Black Forest, good food, nice rooms and friendly staff. What more could you want. Clear recommendation.

Very central location, nice rooms, nice staff and a very good kitchen. Pool and sauna are also available, but were not used by us.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Online we asked for a double room on the street side. This was advertised for €32 and was confirmed to us by mail. On arrival, however, we were assigned a room with Valley view. As the hotel was rather empty, we did not question this further and were happy about the small upgrade. When checking out the next morning, however, we would be charged the higher price and kept very unfriendly that we did not claimed our room. After a long discussion, we were finally charged 35€ for the room instead of the 45€. Overall, the contact to the receptionist was very unprofessional. As a guest, I definitely felt not valued and attacked.
However, the staff were always very friendly. The price of the hotel is also absolutely fine, the breakfast with fresh buns also acceptable. Overall, everything was rather unloveful and like a journey through the 70s or 80s.

Staff, food, coffee and cakes and views super class. Always like to go there again. Children are also welcome.

Very quiet and very sunny place. Pool, sauna and restaurant very nice.

We were there for 1 week with our 2 daughters and something wonderful as here that one so talked about the children was great. The rooms were very nice, especially the view into the mountains. The food was first class, as many restaurateurs can cut themselves a slice. So for us, that's called here again next year.

Was on the weekend with a group of 35 people in this house. 11 A. M. Champagne Reception. 12:30 Lunch. It is a 4 course meal with pumpkin soup to choose from. Served with salad from the Buffet. My wife and I deer had chosen stew with side dishes. On the plate Meat a deer was a pea Puree sauce, a spoon of various vegetables and a dollop of. Later, Spätzle and croquettes. 15 there was coffee. This was charged a Flat rate. So who is not a coffee and cake, as 7 has had. 50 Euro is paid to how the where coffee and cake. The plate dishes between cost 18, 50 19, 00 Euro. Sorry, but never in the lion to St. Märgen.

Simply gorgeous. In a fantastic place. In addition to a comfortable room and clean. Swimming pool, sauna, a small gym. And from the terrace of the room a stunning view.

The spacious rooms, the beautiful scenery and the hospitable Breakfast have us excited. At nine o'clock in the evening, we were even still in the pool to swim: how to spoil you in the Hotel Löwen!

Dear Ms. Roth. My wife and I have a short stay in their beautifully located and with a lot of charm and love run Hotel/Restaurant very much. The food (Breakfast and dinner) was very good. So a Gastfreundlicht with good food, beautiful rooms and an indoor swimming pool with Sauna, all at prices even a average guest can pay! Thank you to Mrs Roth and her Crew We'll be back for sure.

Good: Parking near the house With restrictions acceptable: Breakfast Unfathomably bad: The Rest! Details: No Elevator, gammeliges staircase and hallways, rooms for ages, not refurbished, doors without proper castle and peeling veneers, beds with holes in the sheet obtained, carpet stained, walls with water damage, the bathroom moldy and old, towels from the last century, television is much to small, noisy. Breakfast: When you have 1 hour after the beginning comes, there's only little choice and no dishes more. Staff and management Breakfast for yourself, instead of time, the tables clear. Rarely so bad overnight.

The four of us motorcycle riders are 21:55 to get something to eat, come here. It was the best Steak. Rarely something delicious to have got. The chef came to us and we have about preparation spoken. Truly a master of his subject and nice personally. Thank you.

Lovingly run, quiet Hotel with a fantastic view (see photo). Great family rooms, Sauna and swimming pool also great. Food very good and plentiful (half Board). Especially our five year old Zöliakaner was with great effort every day with glutenfreiem food spoiled. I have never eat so much to see.
