Very tasty food, friendly nice service. The restaurant is highly recommended. It's a pity that we live too far away. But as you know, you always see yourself 2 x in life.

Loved it, liked it, want some more of it… as soon as possible.
The meat was absolutely melting in my mouth, served as requested.

Historic hotel with a magnificent, authentic ambience and original antique furniture. The bathroom, on the other hand, was state-of-the-art and stylish. Very friendly service, very good breakfast. The salad with fresh chanterelles in the restaurant was excellent. Tip: on weekends, the small-town youth likes to move around the market square at night singing, so choose a quiet room to the courtyard.

Great location, great ambience — food was good!

Very traditional house which I‘ve already visited many years ago. Still family-run and you can feel a bit like home. Very nicely renovated bathroom (not ensuite). Only point of criticism was that the service didn‘t feel totally personal, e. G. During breakfast where the food wasn‘t re-stocked, even if the personnel saw it. In general, you will get a good price/quality ratio here!

Very cosy hotel in the middle of the old town. Unfortunately no bathrooms in the individual rooms, but each room has a sink and there is a very hygienic outside bathroom. Very nice and flexible staff. Breakfast is excellent.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sonne. Friendly reception by the lady in charge and her dog. The room was big and very clean. No traffic noice. Newly renovated and inpeccably clean bathroom. We also used the hotel garage for our car for extra protection. The breakfast offered everything we could wish for and the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The house is very old and beautiful and we liked the location in the old nice centre of Offenburg where we found a nearby pizzeria which was open late. We also liked that the Tuesday market was just next to the hotel and offered local Schwartzwald specialties which we could bring along.

Beautiful Cocoon Hotel in the purest tradition of home bathroom dream, it feels very good.

A nice ambiance in the restored Biedermeier.
The House is located close to the Centre to 650 years, in the heart of Offenburg city, was renovated with great attention to the important places. Nevertheless, many details were also probably sake of monument protection, which Crown the hotel however the piece of jewelry. It creaks sometimes one of the prepared planks. Also the old furniture has been lovingly prepared and fits perfectly into the concept.
The family business where I also recommend a visit of the premises with roadside seating offers delicious dishes from the connected restaurant room, for a small extra charge.
Friendly, you will be greeted to a rich and good breakfast, offering a buffet. Realizable special requests are no problem.
Price are hotel and restaurant in the affordable means.
I think, on the basis of the monument protection, my comfortable single room had only a sink. Toilet and bathroom are located in the corridor and are shared probably also. This does not apply however to all rooms, just ask. Personally it bothered me not because the facilities at any time were clean, objectively I disconnect for this reason but a star, also because of bad parking.
Close to the trade fair and city, the atmosphere and the rest in the traffic-calmed address, friendliness and good food, highly recommended.

Very attentive and friendly staff in the restaurant. Dinner was very well including A small greeting from the kitchen in the form of a veal baellchens with some vegetables. Nice old but well-kept place with reasonable prices. Bus stop right outside the front door. Overall recommendation.

-no free Internet available as indicated (Wi-Fi network or router is not shown). On the 2nd day hooked up at the reception. Answer: The router should have hung up and she wanted it a turn off. But until the last day nothing has changed and it was also again checked with us. For business stays not suitable because Internet is often essential.
-Moan bed Springs, bed pushes apart for movement; What is very inconvenient as a pair, if one has a large gap in the middle and again must push together beds.

Location is very good. Hotel is Situated in the heart of city. Railway station is on 5 minutes walking distance. Overall a good place to stay.

Its central location is exceptional and attention is spectacular. Always with a smile.

Schönes Interieur: Holzboden, vertäfelte Wände. Wenig Schnick-Schnack. Bedienung: sehr akkurat und zuvorkommend Essen: Business-Lunch für 16 Euro: sehr gut — das Geld wert. Insgesamt: einen Umweg wert.

I love the Biedermeyer-room in this Hotel. Everything is authentic and old style left, but nothing destotrotz sought the family, the Hotel is on the newest version (fast Internet connection, modern bathroom, etc). The Breakfast is lovingly prepared and the Hotelkatze makes it so cosy :) Since 3 years I'm very happy to be there.

Kind people and nice service. I had to stay in this town because my car broke down. After I checked out waiting for the garage to finish fixing my car they let me stay in an open room. This way I could still use their internet connection. I would recommend staying here if you want to stay in Offenburg. Lunch was also great! I ordered some toast and egg with ham and cheese and got some side dishes as well. Then I ordered a cafe and that comes with cookies and all! Thanx for the hospitality.

Lovely hotel, clean and in central location. Very kind people at reception. I've been there twice and I'd come back again! A relaxing place to stay, even with the family. (pets are allowed ;) ).
