Was here for a wedding. Location is just a dream. Food was good, but not excellent. Room also good, therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

Very nice restaurant, fantastically located on a small Weier, which invites you to ride a rowing boat. The food is good and ok from the crowd, the prices are also ok. After the meal, you can represent your legs on the circular trail around the Weier. Without visiting a restaurant, the round trip costs two euros per person. Boating costs four euros.

Very nice beer garden on a small lake under trees. Partly in the evening with live music. Service friendly and fast. Food for beer garden o. K. Very good home-brewed beer. Rooms are also o. K.

The area is beautiful. Especially the guest garden. Staff are polite and courteous. Also at the request to get a room without a carpet, I was given another room. Unfortunately, there was a lot of broken in the room and the cleanliness in some places would have been a bit of room for improvement. Even the wlan did not reach to the sea. Still, all in all, a nice hotel.

Out of compassion and in the hope that eating is better than the dilapidated room.
Rustic is one but unkempt and moldy is something else.
So eating that is quite good and for the price a lot.

Beautiful and quiet location. Very well maintained with beautiful outdoor area. The food was delicious.

If you order a dish with sauerkraut, you don't have much expectation of the herb. But if the sauerkraut tastes trany to muffy-rancid, your non-existent expectations are undercut.
I first thought the bacon in the herb tastes so forging. But that's not. It must have been lard in the sauerkraut. Sorry this tastes so musty that it's already unpleasant …
No one tries that before it gets on the map like that?
When there are many guests, the toilets sometimes look hearted. That's how it was at least on the evening we were there. Colleague took pictures because he said he had never seen anything like this before! I've seen a lot of things already … Doesn't have to photograph that. ;)
Sorry, both are system flaws. It's not a mishap of a waitress who sometimes swaps a meal. Can happen once. It is also not a mistake of the cook, who is sometimes fried a little too dark. Bad day. Can happen.
These are system errors. That's why the point of withdrawal.

The food is average, more than that ambience is beautiful, but I don't pay any money for a walk around the lake.

Beautiful location also suitable for meetings. Eating well civic-civic and pleasant service. Well-groomed gardening in the countryside.

The dam mill offers a good Baden cuisine and a special flair around the whole complex. Even the beer is made in the in-house brewery. An ideal place, especially in summer, for groups, families, cyclists — and motorcyclists. The beer garden with adjacent lake is very idyllic. If you look at the overall package, 5 stars are eligible. The staff is nice and friendly.

The hotel is located in the green on a parking-like property. Unfortunately, the park is not allowed to be entered with a dog. However, overnight recording in the room is not a problem. The room was quaint and the décor more than outdated. Got furniture in the basement that looks better. Otherwise very spacious. We had a balcony that unfortunately was facing the courtyard where the kitchens were used — back door to clear dishes. The climatrous then also neatly. In addition, the deliveries of goods could also be heard. In the evening we tried one of the homemade chickens. That was fine so far. The accompanying bread tasted musty and old. A bit of butter would have been nice … but well. Breakfast was ok. There was a small selection … but it wasn't often refilled. There were no bowls for the yogurt. The little croissants were fresh from the baker — no alternative goods … very good. The Black Forest ham is particularly noteworthy. Coffee very good.

The traditional historic brewery and hotel is located in a beautiful park with its own lake. The home-brewed beer is very tasty and a specialty of something like that. The beer garden invites you to linger longer with its hearty meals.

Only visited for the Christmas market.

We were there as part of a decatering event. A very wonderful place with a lot to discover. In every corner many interesting things have been set up with attention to detail. Beautiful outdoor complex with gardens and a lake. Free-running animals in the beer garden. In-house Brauerrei and much more. The food was very good. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Very nice. Clean and very nice staff. Only the pillows could be bigger.

Staff very friendly, restaurant and ambiance very nice. Peacocks roam freely on the courtyard. There is a paddock with horses, donkeys and goats in addition to the residential complexes.
The rooms are, at least what I had, badly in need of renovation. The laminate is more than poorly laid. Lamp in the bathroom only hangs on the power cable and in general the bathroom has stopped in the 70s. However, one has to mention positively that it is very clean and lacking in anything.
Quite simply, I have to say the stay was positive anyway.

Location of the key you have to search. Was then in the restaurant. In the dark everything is somewhat confusing. Bath not warm — the small radiator was not sufficient, the remote control in the sink was defective — no contact person was found. When handing over keys it was said that breakfast is available from 7 o'clock. At breakfast It was said that there is something to eat only from 8 o'clock. The request for a sandwich was rejected.

Food is good and prices still acceptable.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. A bit rustic for this is a good starting point for many companies.

In the whole a pretty nice Christmas market, in places very muddy and poorly lit paths.
A visit is worthwhile anyway.

The flame cakes are great. Just a pity that you have to book now.

Very tidy, lots of space, good for families but while eating and drinking we had to wait very long outside.

Neither hotel nor kitchen are rated here — both not worth mentioning.
My rating refers to the beer garden: In the summer the Dammenmühle is really nice for the afternoon coffee.
Usually the cakes are good and when children are there, they look forward to playing at the lake and admiring the animals ' facilities.
Sometimes the peacock also gives the honor and stretches out his feather dress.
In these moments, the Dammenmühle is really a bit of heaven on earth;)

Were for two (with friend) and unfortunately also over 10 min waited for the attention of the operations, even though we were right at the entrance of the local — unfortunately in vain.
In the beautiful and lively part of the courtyard there was unfortunately no room, therefore we have asked whether they could organize a table because 2 chairs were still free. As was said (by the boss), we should look at whether soon someone stands up and could put us then there — Oh no? Really now? I didn't know that! There were few empty tables in the front entrance area but this one was too inflexible or had simply no desire.
I as a guest wanted to then not necessarily with my friend across the huge yard drag a table to the chairs to drink a beer.
CONCLUSION: disorganized / inflexible / not hospitable / and wise sayings from the Chief ;) )

It is a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, the staff is unfriendly, or overwhelmed. On the day of the father, we have a table for 5 people reserved after 10 minute, stood in the entrance we were not greeted not even respected, by booking, no one wanted to know what. Eventually they have placed us in a back room with unmet table. We've been very disappointed after ca 20 of minutes waiting time for operation. The voucher of € 50 has been paid out.

The ambience is very nice — unfortunately you can distribute no compliments to the kitchen.
8 persons: Cold soup, main course cold, raw and this comes fries still finished products that are used (was, after all, openly admitted on demand, almost goes without saying). The staff is very cool and not with heart. (heavy and naughty)

Wonderful atmosphere in a quiet location. Even brewed beer is very good.
The flappers that I had ordered, would have been more better after a round in the deep Fryer. The potato salad that is slightly warmer.
Service is very friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately a single disappointment. So much great investments in new construction and remodeling, and then this kitchen. The dam mill has now lost after several attempts with me.
Got the lunch menus that feel it serves to prepare the home for the elderly. But not in one with 5 stars. Soon only still waiting for happened food. Liebloser and "geschmacksneutraler" you can not cook.
In the evening we ate the drunken pig, and ox cheeks. Good, once total next to it. Kitchen wavering. The service is very friendly and tried to cover up the shortcomings of the kitchen with great kindness. I would not call the dam Mill Inn of good regional cuisine. What a pity!

Went today for lunch there, was taste good, just a little on the plate.
My husband has ox cheeks with mashed potatoes and vegetables ordered, was very little for the price of 16 euro. I had a salad with shrimp skewers, salad was good, only
the skewers were not properly fried, came from the TK, bread was very good!
That should change, please work on it. Beer was very tasty.

Ambience. An OASIS to the feel. The beer tastes great. You can see that much has been made here and still is. Smear about the food: it is of varying quality and nothing special. Many of the dishes are TK goods e. G. The Tarte Flambée. The Brewmaster steak is good, if the Cook the roast point on customer's request.

Good place to taste a piece of black Forest. Great terrace at the edge of a small pond. Correct prices. Very good reception.
