After the renovation the theater has lived a new life. Excellent acoustics, excellent interiors, comfortable armchairs. Outside the theater is also very beautiful and is a place of rest of the local population and tourists-around it green plantations, benches and sculptures. I recommend, but tickets should be bought in advance, because there are no vacant places here.

The opera house is in Mavrtania style. The renovation has not changed it much. I attended the most recent performance of Swan Lake. Overall I found the experience quite enjoyable. The orchestra played much better than it had been playing during the Soviet times. Prince Siegfried was performed by a young dancer of the Russian origin. He has great looks. His technique lacks refinement, but he has a great potential. If he fine-tunes his technique, he is destined to perform in one of the nicest opera houses of Europe. All other soloists were of moderate abilities. They performed satisfactory, but nothing extraordinary. The cordabalet has also improved since the Soviet times. So if you visit Tbilisi, attending a ballet performance is definitely going to be a worthwhile experience.

Opera Ballet Theater of Tbilisi a must go place in Tbilisi. A great theater with a beautiful interior and sitting arrangement. I went to see Opera, it was good and actors were of International standard. The only problem I had was the language as a foreigner it was hard for me to understand and the language they were translating was in Georgian language. It will be good if they add English as well. Other than this it was a good place.

Definitely one of the best pieces of architecture in Tbilisi. Prices are quite affordable so don’t miss the chance to go there if you’re in town.

Georgian Opera is gorgeous, beautiful. I highly recommend going there and listening to classical music or just watching ballet.

I do not understand why to make a children's matinee from the ballet "Nutcracker". Theatre Administration! In the pursuit of profit you have spoiled everything you can. Dear Parents! Before you lead your children to the theater, explain to them the rules of conduct in the Temple of art.

Very nice place, but you should avoid the afternoon performance because of children visiting and very restless.

Excellent Acoustics! Great Interior. Parterre with a small bias, so I recommend to take or places up to the 5th row or on the balconies. Don't forget to turn off the sound of your mobile phone! ) )

The prices are very very very modest for a state theater. Performances are quite good and many renown ballet stars come to perform here as well. Definitely take advantage of ticket's accessibility and availability and visit it! Well and the building is absolutely gorgeous.

The audio setting is good, when the orchestra start playing, I fall into the mood instantly. Btw, the interior is grand!

And it's matching box on the other side. You are nearly parallel with the stage and will probably miss half the performance due to poor sight lines. —

The building is amazing and so was the Swan Lake performance. — 2 stars because there were people taking pictures with flash during the performance, there were many kids making tons of noise and people applauding in the middle of the music. There should be proper direction/guidelines like in other classical music performances about these and people kicked out if they don't oblige.

It is the only opera house of Tbilisi. Architecture is amazing that fots into old Tbilisi style. Inside it is very comfortable and there are amazing performances usually.

Old building but full of history. Very nice shows. Beware of stall 1, you cannot see anything from first seat.

Wonderful building but old performers. We saw "the love potion" and it was well sung. Good scenery and stage management. The bad is the aging performers. All over 40 and most over 60. It was awkward to follow as a live story. Or to believe a 40 year old was joining the army. The chorus are mostly 60+. Good music with an excellent orchestra. Young blood is needed.

It's all about the convenience that Anna gave us. From the location of the hostel, to the comfort of the room and beds which allowed 7 people all in one room, to the staff that is very friendly and very very accommodating, to meeting new friends from different countries in a different land. Basically, everything
She made it possible for us to make this trip convenient, comfortable, memorable, and worthy of each penny. I would surely love to recommend Opera rooms and hostel Tbilisi to everyone who wanted to visit Georgia.

Honestly, the best hostel I have ever been to. The staff and owners were extremely kind and the hospitality was great. In addition, great location right on Rustaveli st.
