Bapsha Guesthouse Hotel

Not bad clean hotel with views of the Svan towers.

I've been to Mestia three times so far, and this is definitely the best place I've seen. Great location (both super central and quiet), great view from every room, everything is stylish and new and maintained super clean, comfortable beds, nice balconies, good breakfast… Not to mention the charmingly friendly and helpful staff and owner, and the amazing huge cuddly dog. Me and my partner were on a climbing trip and needed to change our bookings a lot, leave our duffle bags during climbs, wash our clothes etc. Meaning we weren't the easiest guests to have — but we still felt very welcome. Certainly hope to stay here again.

Cool building, all pretty new. Comfy bed! Friendly staff. They let us park our car in the yard while we already checked out and were hiking. Good breakfast with fresh apple juice. I would stay there again!

We had a super holiday in the Bapsha Guesthouse! The rooms are modern and nicely decorated. The view from the balcony to the mountains is a dream! We have felt ourselves very well and were cared for by a great Team of highly. The Breakfast was delicious and every Morning there was freshly baked Blinis. It was all taken care of, for example, the organization of the trip in a minibus. Thank you for the wonderful time, dear Bapsha Guesthouse Team!

We had a couple of super nice days in Mestia. The Bapsha Guesthouse offers a quiet, clean, and modernly decorated rooms with a balcony and beautiful views of the surrounding mountain world. Versatile Breakfast for early risers, it is prepared extra. With its own source of drinking water in the courtyard. To recommend any time and gladly again.

We just came from Bapsha, I agree with the reviewer below that the place is very nice and new… and initial impression was great, however it went down from there pretty fast… Pros: — Great view — nice room — we were allowed early check-n — water heater worked fine Cons: — I can count at least 4 times when somebody tried to open our door — very noisy, you can hear all the movements from the hallway, toilet etc. From other rooms — No heater in the room (temps go down to maybe 0-2 degrees C in the morning) — Never provided or asked if we needed Wi-Fi — Not friendly (almost never spoke to us at all) — Never greeted nor acknowledged our presence — Breakfast could be better For the price we paid, we were quite disappointed with the overall experience… sad to say it was mainly due to the attitude/service of the host/staff.

It is very beautiful, but no heat in rooms, just a small heater we got, and the water in the shower takes 2 hours to warm and last only 10 minutes. Every shower the electricity went down so no hot water. And all other guesthouse had electricity.

Not much to tell about Bapsha, it is simply amazing guest house in Mestia. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The manager is exceptionaland the staff are great, she made almost everything possible (except the weather) from pick-up at the train station in Zugdidi to arranging for your excursion, always there to guide you. Perfect place for a family stay. Highly recommend it.
