White Shino Hostel Hostel

I wouldn't book this hostel anymore. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired, it smells extremely of smoke everywhere and the hostel staff is untraceable most of the time. Absolutely not recommended.

Not really clean and tidy.

Favorable. Cleanliness rather in need of getting used to. Beds uncomfortable. Overall very rustic.

If you are a fan of smoking before, after, during or even instead of eating, if living in kennel for the price of your apartment your hobby-then this… The hostel… Although it is better to say Cress is your choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean. It's hard to name the amount for which I'll come back here.

You can feel at home and comfortable. Sometimes things don't work and generally the place is self-run but hey it's one of the cheapest in Gudauri.

Cheap but the beds are literally shocking.

It's a terrible place. I'll never show up here again. There was no heating in the room. They were warming up with an electric fireplace. Of all the windows blowing as if they are not. The bathroom does not provide heating at all. For all 8 days of arrival the heating was not done.
In order to wash you need to wait until the air comes out of the pipes and only then you need to play with the faucet that would pick up the optimum temperature. The light in the room is very dim. In the main lamp there was no lamp at all.
They smoke everywhere.
The kitchen was terrible, had to wear shoes and a warm sweater with a hat. It was even colder. There was almost no light. Cooked with a flashlight.
It was difficult to eat in the dining room as it was smoked and it was terribly cold.
To borrow $15 is too much. Friends lived in the hotel renting a warm room with a warm bathroom and a warm kitchen for $20 per person.
As the girl who was in this horrible place called "White Shino" said: "They haven't done anything in a year. "
It's just part of the horror i've seen.

Obviously the owners don't know how do hostels around the world look like. What we found in our room — dirty sheets, mouse droppings in the bed, mold on the walls, broken wc (the house keeper woke us up with nervous knocking on the door at 4 am), cold common areas were people (hosts) are smoking everywhere. There is no kitchen — what they call "kitchen" looks like a basement. You can use the fridge, microwave and hot water pot. The shop is 2 km away and without car you are lost…
So, definitely don't recommend this place — it's better to pay 10$ more and find a normal place to stay.
One good thing — there is a ski&snowboard service and the guys are super. You can find them on FB — Big Bros School. So, it's not necessary to stay/sleep in the "hostel" if you want to use their services.

Great service, friendly people, nice atmosphere.
