A great stay at the Tiki House! Fred and his wife are lovely hosts! The bungalow is very nice and very functional: the washing machine and the swimming pool are a real plus!

Delightful small inn on the main island of Bora Bora. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast served at the pool looking out to the lagoon. Hiking trail up to WWII cannons runs up behind the hotel.

We spent seven nights at this hotel as a family of four, and overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Considering the price we paid, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for money.

Stayed for two nights in early November. A wonderful location, with a market 500 feet away and 10 minute walk to a restaurant and Intercontinental Resort.

The word ‘hotel’ for some contours up images of amazing service and amenities. Hotel Matira is a much more humble and care free place to stay. Look at their website to understand what they offer.

The is place to be on a rather tight budget in Bora Bora. Still not inexpensive but the location directly on a nice spot of Matira Beach is superb. It also openes up towards the west and calm water.

Very nice, peaceful and recommendable stay in the near of a church. Good equipment in the room with an amazing view from my room with a balcony to the ocean.

This business does not exist anymore. It was torn down years ago. There is a convenience store/ gas station on that corner now. A newer hotel was built down the street from this old one.

Fantastic house for yourself with a large fenced yard to park your vehicle inside. The house includes a decent size bedroom with a king size bed and an additional single size bed for a kid.

Even though their website and Facebook page may not be fully up to date — make no mistake: this place is absolutely real, and it’s pure magic.

The location, pool, restaurant are all amazing! The rooms were probably once the quintessential Polynesian experience. With a little LTC they could be amazing again.

Had a great stay. I had one night to burn before I checked into the St Regis and I decided to stay the night at the Maitai Polynesia. I think it was an excellent choice for my purpose.

Good location but small beach area (with limited sunbeds) which is problematic given the size of the hotel.
