This place is amazing! The location is perfect with beautiful views of Otemanu and the channel. The service is impeccable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We just spent 5 nights at their overwater bungalow with a plunge pool. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed in, and I’ve been to 78 countries.

A great stay at the Tiki House! Fred and his wife are lovely hosts! The bungalow is very nice and very functional: the washing machine and the swimming pool are a real plus!

We spent seven nights at this hotel as a family of four, and overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Considering the price we paid, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for money.

Stayed for two nights in early November. A wonderful location, with a market 500 feet away and 10 minute walk to a restaurant and Intercontinental Resort.

One of the best experiences we’ve had. Beds were very comfortable. Bungalows were very nice, staff was great. Only thing I would change is the food and beverage.

An amazing experience. This mansion is a French artist's home. To me, it feels more Italian than French though.

The word ‘hotel’ for some contours up images of amazing service and amenities. Hotel Matira is a much more humble and care free place to stay. Look at their website to understand what they offer.

The is place to be on a rather tight budget in Bora Bora. Still not inexpensive but the location directly on a nice spot of Matira Beach is superb. It also openes up towards the west and calm water.

This place is a gem! Absolutely loved staying there!

The location, pool, restaurant are all amazing! The rooms were probably once the quintessential Polynesian experience. With a little LTC they could be amazing again.

Couldn't have enjoyed it here more. Tom went out of his way to help us enjoy our visit. Stayed in a bungalow over the water and had a magnificent view.

Had a great stay. I had one night to burn before I checked into the St Regis and I decided to stay the night at the Maitai Polynesia. I think it was an excellent choice for my purpose.

We received a very warm welcome at this hotel. Staff were friendly and very informative.
Good location but small beach area (with limited sunbeds) which is problematic given the size of the hotel.
