Everything in the Hotel was a 5 star level. Food was great, amenities including the room were a dream come true and the people were great. The only thing I believe is lacking and needs improvement is customer service. Don’t get me wrong. The staff treated me well, they were genuine, humble, and always willing to help. However, they need to be better trained. I felt like I needed to ask 3 times to get things done. The air conditioned of my room broke down (which can happen) I need to call front desk 3 times so they could send someone to fix. They sent 3 different technicians because the first ones did not fix… and other small things, such as the waiter forgetting to bring me the pinnacle juice I ordered… I even ask at the front desk for the name (brand) of the coconut milk they served at the breakfast (it was the best I ever had in my life). The receptionist told me she would get back to me, but she never did… small things like that were a little annoying… the staff need to do a better job following up. This is probably the only thing preventing this hotel to be considered a 5star hotel… But don’t get me wrong. Everything else was great and I would definitely stay on this hotel again and recommend it to anyone.

We have loved our stay here. The staff is so kind, the food is great. Breakfast has so many options. We loved the pool bar, especially Moana the bartender who was incredibly helpful and kind to us. We are so sad to be leaving!

Spent 10 days at Le Bora Bora. The property is very beautiful, the rooms are fantastic, the staff was super friendly. The wife and I could not have asked for a better location. I can’t comment on what other resorts may or may not be, but Le Bora Bora is ABSOLUTELY worth your time and money.

There are no words to describe this place or it’s staff and environment. The only downfall is that it takes great financial resources to be here and to spend several days. There are no quick, reasonable food items that you can buy and the average alcoholic drink is $25.00 US dollars. Food choices are limited at the resort. You do have complimentary water, sodas, juices, coffee, tea, and beer in your mini bars. However those same drinks are very costly if you order from the bar or at a meal. With that complaint out of the way, there is no other place I could have imagined spending time with the love of my life. All expectations were met and then some. I recommend Mikki Mikki’s to eat, the sunset cruise, a private dinner on the beach, stay hydrated, bring your own sunscreen-a lot of it and Aloe. They don’t have much here and if you find it, it’s $50.00 US dollars. Travel to the main Island and go all the way around it. Stop often, you will not be disappointed. Also, spend the extra and get the room with your own pool.

This resort was absolutely stunning. Beautiful rooms, beautiful views, great food & drinks. Every staff member was very friendly and accommodating, especially the concierge. It was so easy to schedule excursions and transportation through them. One staff member stood out to us especially, (Heimoana) was incredibly kind & always willing to help my husband and I when needed. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

This is my second time here and it’s still amazing…. I’ve stayed at the other high end resorts as well and they feel a bit Ostentatious. This resort has newly renovated bungalows and rooms with a great calmness you’ll truly enjoy.

We spent 8 nights at Le Bora Bora by Pearl and had a wonderful time! The updated overwater bungalows were beautiful and an experience to remember! The resort was beautiful and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful — booking excursions, telling you about the mainland, etc. When you’re there as long as we were, some of the staff even took to getting to know our names, remember our drinks, etc. The gym was surprisingly good with ample dumbbells, a smith machine, and more. The spa wasn’t done renovation when we were there. I suggest taking advantage of the free kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear as the area is so pretty and the water is waist deep forever. We did the Shark Boy (shark and stingray excursion) and what an experience! In the water with huge rays and 6 foot sharks. Played sand volleyball with other guests and The Beach Boys. We had an overall amazing time during our stay! I have only two negatives from our stay: 1) inconsistent service occasionally. I really struggle saying this considering these are people working their butts off and covid and etc. But you’re also paying enough that you expect them to be asking you if you need another drink, not waving them down for another one. At times it could be slow or just off. Nothing bad or that made our stay bad, but I still think for that amount of money, they should be ON IT. 2) I describe the food generally as just OK. The gourmet restaurant was fantastic. Exceeded expectations by far.

This place is not only beautiful but the entire staff are absolutely outstanding. They go out of their way to ensure you have the very best possible stay. I’m so grateful I was able to stay here!

The resort is world class. The over water bungalows are certainly a must experience. The staff is friendly and the room cleaning and turn down is a pleasant bonus. The concierge is very accommodating. The only detractor was the pool bar did NOT know how to make a good cocktail for anything, and I tried several. So stick to beer and liquor neat or on the rocks.

Ocean was was spectacular and trade winds were perfect! The deck is killer and extremely spacious. I am already planning next trip!

Absolutely top place to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary. In addition to great food at the three resort restaurants, a short boat ride and the a 20 minutes taxi ride takes you to one of the two excellent restaurants on the Bora Bora Island: La Villa Mahana or legendary Bloody Mary's.

We loved our bungalow at this resort and the staff was amazing too. Super helpful working with my husband on all kinds of wonderful birthday surprises. From the spa to the breakfast delivered by outrigger canoe, this place went above and beyond!

We stayed at the Pearl from April 10-14, for our 20th Anniversary. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The food was good, the snorkelling was fantastic, and the service was really top notch! If I ever get a chance to return to Bora Bora, we will be staying at the Pearl! ❤️

Close to paradise. We spent three nights in a bungalow on stilts. Everything was perfect, the staff, the services, the excursions.
Of course it's expensive, but we're in Bora Bora in a four star and finally we ate harder for as expensive in a 3o on another island. The hotel has its own coral nursery. Even if it's as much an ecological gesture as marketing, well done. Wi-Fi is of excellent quality. Only small downside, make the shuttles pay to the village. In this kind of establishment, it is a bit petty.
I don't know how the others are, but the Pearl beach is superb.

The location is perfect and spectacular but you’ll be in such a fake and superficial place with poor values. Sad and totaly against polynesians values.

Absolutely amazing experience! We went there for our honeymoon and stayed on a overwater bungalow, wow best experience ever! Very friendly staff and amazing serene! I did not want to leave! If you go to bora bora I definitely would recommend Pearl Beach Resorts and definitely over water experience even if that’s a bit more expensive it is totally worth it!

Earthly paradise exists.! A wonderful honeymoon between peace of mind and tranquility! Lots of hospitality and always clean rooms, great staff and the food is yummy and then between mini golf and tennis Ping pong and billiards… don't ever bother you! If you come to Polynesia I recommend this resort!

We were immediately greeted with locome-type flower wreaths and then taken to the resort with our own resortboat! The color of the sea is breathtaking Unlike many other hotels, it has a beach with many loungers and hammocks between the palm trees. We had half-board. Both breakfast and dinner were terrific. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Without a half, however, one has lost in this hotel. The nearest town The beach insane … and everything very clean. First room experience on stilts, it was wonderful! Snorkeling in the fish-nourishing was magical. We made the exit in the lagoon to fill the sunset on board the solar and electric catamaran a romantic experience. A big thank you to Stephanie and all the staff of the hotel who was able to welcome us warmly throughout our stay. Mauruuru!

We booked 2 types of room while staying with Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort. First one was garden pool bungalow, we LOVED it. It was very spacious with our private pool with jacuzzi! We were in love with it and was not sure if we would love overwater bungalow, the second room we booked. Overwater bungalow did not disappoint us at all and we LOVED LOVED it! we woke up to the most beautiful scene, some mornings we got rainbows and all, it was fantastic! The hotel provides free activities daily too like learning how to wear pareo (sarong), coconut show, learning how to make headband from flower! There are also canoe, kayak, paddle board, putt putt golf and spa! We loved every minute of it!

We're glad we opted for the beach front bungalow with view of Mount Otemanu. The beach was right outside our door, along with the wonderful lagoon where we we paddle boarded, kayaked, and just sometimes walked through as it was shallow and sandy. When we got hot, we just stepped right back into our bungalow and enjoyed the view. Our bungalow (#54) was spacious and the bed was super comfy. The outdoor bathroom and jacuzzi were wonderful. Didn't think we'd use the jacuzzi but my husband loved it. The only con to the bath were the mosquitoes. Not many but I did get a bite on my butt! When we were sitting in the front part of the bungalow we also noticed the mosquitoes. There was a plug in mosquito repellent but I didn't realize what it was until later. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered plenty of choices (eggs, sausages, fruit, cereal, eggs to order, crepes, breads, croissants, meats/cheeses, etc. ) The only complaint was they didn't refill some items like crepes so if you don't come early they ran out. Our favorite place for dinner was the Miki Miki Bar. Order the Hot Stone entree with 3 sauces. Fun to cook your own food right at your own table. The hotel concierge is very helpful and arrange for our scooter rental over on the main island. One big plus of the Pearl is its easy access (just a short 5-minute boat ride) to town. We did see a couple cruise ships come in so inquire ahead of time as you probably don't want to be doing activities on those days.

This place is paradise. The staff are amazing. There is plenty to do and the food is like eating in a gourmet restaurant. Didn't want to leave.

The resort is beautiful and our hostess Rosine was great. We didn’t have a good experience with the food service unfortunately. First we ordered room service and they brought us the wrong thing. Then in the restaurant, we were being waited on by the manager. He never greeted us, didn’t introduce himself, didn’t bring wine or water glasses (we had to ask). He just came to the table and said “do you know what you want?! ” He was slow, we had to ask for water, we poured our own wine and our own water, he never checked on us to see how dinner was or if we needed anything. It was really disappointing. During the day there isn’t much staff around if you need anything. They need to have beach towels by the pool and extras in the rooms. The food was great, the service, not so much. Loved the music by the pool in the evening. The rest of the property was paradise and an experience we will never forget.

Attainable paradise, customer service impeccable, 2 bottles of water left at turndown every evening… had leftover bottles, fed the fish and nurse sharks through the coffee table bread rolls from dinner before falling asleep, excursions exceeded my expectations, the night sky is breathtaking, the spa treatments were divine, stared at the Milky Way each night, a postcard every where you turn… I actually lived my screensaver… the all day Lagoon Cruise is an absolute must, enjoyed the 4x4 wd tour, my only regret was not booking the stargazing tour before going, it had sold out. It was the rainy season but only rain a couple of days for 15 at the most, even though iphone showed thunderstorms everyday all day…

Had an amazing time here! Views and beach were awesome. Customer service was top notch. Dinner on the beach was expensive but worth it. Gym was ok. Lunch at the bar was ok, a little bit pricey. Otherwise, would totally stay again. One down side is every time you want to go to town you have to pay for a water taxi or ferry fee. Its not a huge expense but it does add up.

Very nice place, but cut off from everything. Except the hotel there is nothing trees, sand and sea. The bungalow s are very nicely decorated. The food I found was expensive. A place for couples of love.

This hotel is fabulous, it is located on an exceptional island, with views and bungalows that have a room a very cute boudoir, we were in a ground room, had a terrace with outdoor shower and Jacuzzi also have a sun loungers to take the Sun. There are two restaurants one for meals and take something that sounds like a show at night (a singer) and the other that is what included breakfast and dinner. There is a spa with gym and sauna, the massages are nice. One of the restaurants also has a swimming pool. There is a room with a billiards and monkey games.

The taste of rice is general, the House is older, the single bed is too narrow to fall asleep uncomfortable. The hotel's Coral park is man-made, but fish a lot, not afraid of people, should be fed out.

The service is very nice and staff is very helpful. Facility is a bit dated but its still very charming and has an authentic feel to it.

An absolute dream facility for me. The bungalows are very chic and tastefully decorated. Everything is modern and has little signs of wear. The rest of the facility also looks very well maintained. Every corner is well cared for by the guests.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Remote motu (Motu Tevairoa) that is not surrounded by other hotel chains as Le Meridien, Four Seasons, St. Regis, Thalasso, etc, so there's a feeling of quiet and isolation. Absolutely love the Polynesian themed bungalows and its fantastic, friendly staff. We got the view facing Mount Otemanu, which is easily the way to go. It's on the side that edges out further into the lagoon, which is ideal (after a storm, debris can collect to the shore, which is not ideal, and can take a bit for the staff to clean timely — — you won't have this problem with the Mount Otemanu facing side, or the ones that are further out into the lagoon). This place has three main food location (Tevairoa, Miki Miki, Taurerea Sushi Restaurant). Miki Miki Restaurant has happy hour and live music most evenings while you dine and also overlooks part of the beach. Excellent buffet breakfast at Tevairoa Restaurant consisting of made-to-order benedicts, eggs, and omelettes. Also contain French toast, crepes, French pastries (croissant with chocolate inside, currant buns, etc). Taurearea Restaurant at time of writing is at ~$60 for sushi combo consisting of two small rolls (6 California roll sized pieces) and 2 piece of nigiri. It tastes good, but definitely not for the price (easily better sushi in CA and Japan for way cheaper). This place has a great spa location that feels remote.

Paradise! The setting was stunning, the food was great, and the hospitality was excellent. My husband and I spent 7 days at the Pearl Beach Resort for our honeymoon and they are memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly diverse and really great for getting the energy for all of the activities. Lunch at Miki Miki Restaurant is a must, and dinner at Tevairoa was a decadent treat. Our garden villa was so spacious, and the turn down service was really helpful for re-stocking and keeping the room tidy. Should we ever be lucky enough to go back to Bora Bora, it will be to the Pearl Beach. Thank you!

The place is amazing. The hotel is a bit old, not all the restaurants were open, we had problems with the internet and the water but the place makes up for everything.

Hotel Water House is still quite good! Breakfast together to eat, may not be very Chinese taste! Water quality is moderate, but it is better than the water quality in Thailand and Maldives! The lagoon is beautiful!

Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort is an amazing breath taking Resort. The overwater bungalow was worth every penny. The staff there is absolutely sweet. I would highly recommend this Resort! Please order the breakfast deliver to bungalow as well as dinner on the beach. It was amazing experience. Love this place! The only con I would say if they were to have dinner variety. Not the same menu everyday.

The most impressive aspect of this resort was by far the staff. The activities center and concierge in particular do everything they can to accommodate you. The significant drawback was the biting flies that were ravenous around the pool and dining areas. I left the island with itchy welts all over my body in spite of covering myself in 100% deet after reading online reviews on how to prepare for French Polynesia. The beach as well as area outside of the overwater bungalows are free of bugs due to the breeze which is where we eventually stationed after the experiences with the bugs by the pool on day 1 and 2. It's best to bring your lunch back to your room because it's impossible to eat in peace with those insects around. All in all a breathtaking and once in a lifetime experience but you have to go in mentally prepared to be patient with the biting flies. Staff is wonderful. The jacuzzi doesn't work… or at least none of the guests knew how to operate it and when we asked the front desk they just said to "push the buttons… "

The staff were very friendly and helpful. SPA in lovely location. The oversee were very nice and the staff were very drafty. When there is wind (and there is often) the noise is remarkable.

French Polynesia is paradise and Bora Bora is a little less wild destination than other islets here. More tours and villages. The Pearl also impeccable because of the price! Jacuzzi in Apartment appreciable!

Great beach and very friendly staff. We found the food quite expensive and it varied quite a bit in consistency and choice. We ate at the Bora Bora yacht club and Bloody Mary's which were fantastic and much better value for money. I would like to have seen a bigger wine list rather than the 3 red and 3 white on offer. For us also while the Motu is beautiful it can also be restrictive for access to the mainland. We will come to Tahiti again but will stay on the mainland.

The village develops in one of the most beautiful lagoons on the island. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Only Neo dinner, I would have expected much more fish cooked maybe grilled… but I have to say that this little detail goes in the second floor in front of the beauty of the place.
I would definitely recommend the accommodation in the overwater… waking up in the morning and facing directly on this turquoise expanse is priceless! Each overwater then has a direct access to the sea through a wooden ladder… a real show.
The interior décor is typically Polynesian…
Maybe the village would need some small rearrangement, and certainly is lacking in the extra luxury furnishings of other resorts present in the island, but the lagoon of white sand and fine with the waters that degrade very slowly, on which it overlooks, Just to make it definitely at the top. Super recommended.

An unforgettable and amazing relaxing experience — take an over water bungalow (worth every cent) — French pastry for breakfast (fantastic croissants) — ask for room delivery and have an incredible breakfast at your bungalow — snorkel with many different fish species and some (small and inoffensive) SHARKS and RAYS — perfect place for honeymoon.

The view is gorgeous, the service is top notch, and the water bungalow I book was beyond my imaginstion. Only downside is that everything comes with a price tag, so you better bring the bank and some if you want to experience everything this resort has to offer.

A tip, do not take absolutely the beach towels that make only weight in the suitcase and occupy space, every time you swim you can ask for (for free) towels to kiosks present on the beach, as well as masks, fins etc.
I suggest half board (so the days are not long and with a hearty breakfast you can easily get to dinner).
In addition to the countless excursions you can do, I suggest you also book a dinner at the yacht Club (they will pick you up directly by speedboat and you can dine in front of a breathtaking sunset) ; In the resort they are so nice that they accepted my request to turn a dinner into a lunch so you don't miss anything.
If you want to make an unforgettable trip to a heavenly place you just have to go to this place… the right prize to relax even after the stress of the preparations for a wedding!
Council on the rooms: Of course the overwater is something exceptional, maybe to limit the costs you could start again.

Great experience. Wonderful place in super HD colors both day and night. Spent a week in the Beach all suites equipped with spacious private garden with jacuzzi veranda on the beach with views almost 360° thanks to bamboo sliding Windows … contact with nature at 100%!
Breakfast and dinner very good … avoid Italian restaurant … when I was there I wasn't all height … to take into account that 11 years have passed …

I loved it! its beautiful! You could actually see the wonderful coral in the water. And look under the stars at night time. And the food is amazing. And there are a TON of activities! like renting a canoe and going fishing, and hula lessons just for the fun of it. And the staff is AMAZING! really helpful. I would always stay here if I came back to Bora Bora!

Lovely place, wonderful staff the overwater and garden bungalow with private Jacuzzi both … a dream ended too soon.

Paradise. On their honeymoon is super! But trust me if you like the sea there is no more beautiful place in the world. (nice to not do it justice) and live the colors are even better, I would say more "on" If you can see bora bora once in your life!

A fantastic place passed 5 fabulous days with my beautiful wife on honeymoon.

I was there on their honeymoon after a week in catamaran to discover of the Society Islands. Very nice resort, very large and private garden bungalow as well as overwater. I expected though, considering the price is quality, something more about whirlpools and maintenance. Gorgeous colors.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. We think it strikes the right balance between luxury and cost. It is excellent to be on your own private beach. The water around the overwater bungalows is shallow — seemingly shallower than around the other resorts, so it's great for those not as confident in the water. Plenty of tropical fish, especially in the coral nursery. The main restaurant is top quality. The food was fantastic and the presentation was immaculate. Make sure you go on a trip for the shark/ray feeding. Ask for Will as a tour guide if possible — he was great. We'd definitely stay at the Pearl Beach Resort again, given the choice.

I want to go back! Get an over water bungalow, it's amazing and at night you can see tuna fish hunting in the shallows. Food was good, not a place for nightlife but exactly what we wanted.

What a experience. It's beautiful resort. We stayed in a garden bungalow with pool and also in the over water bungalow, it's remarkable! We were there in April 2012 and it was not crowded at all. I liked the view, the rooms, the service and the restaurant. I would love to go back to Bora Bora! It's unforgettable.

What a beautiful resort. We stayed in a garden bungalow with pool. It was larger than I expected, except for the pool on our patio which was tiny. The private patio area was very large. Heimoana was the best bartender! We were there in February and it was not crowded at all. In fact on one picture perfect day, my husband and I were the only two people at the pool for several hours. The only thing we didn't like was the very limited American TV channels, but when you travel that far to get to paradise, you really don't need TV anyway! I would love to go back to Bora Bora.

I'd love to give it 7 stars, if possible. Excellent or better in ALL aspects, apart from flaky+expensive Wi-Fi.
