It's by far the most beautiful place on earth I've ever been. Hotel is stunning, staff so nice and views are just like a dream! Bora Bora is magic!

This resort is absolutely stunning, the staff is unbelievably accommodating and will make sure you have everything you need. As with everything in Bora Bora this place isn't cheap but from my research which was later confirmed by my stay here and exploring Bora Bora, this resort is the best bang for your buck. The location is ideal with a beautiful view of the peak on the main island. The food is fresh and there's enough restaurants so that you can eat something different every day.

I would really give 4.5 stars if I could. Only because the maid service in our bungalow was lacking. Everything else was awesome. Food and drinks are expensive and the service at the pool is not so great. It's Bora Bora. I don't know how you could not give this place 5 stars.

We had quite a few issues with our first watet bungelow, but the staff was super nice and moved us to another one. They made sure we were taken care of. The spa was amazing and we felt super relaxed afterwards.

The bar is superb, modern retro style. A movie!

Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The overwater bungalow's are something not to be missed, if you like the water. We had a dinner delivered by canoe, to our patio. Very nice. :)

Our stay was fantastic. From villas to food to super friendly staff, an absolute top hotel! Time passed as if in flight and we would come back at any time.

Besides being the most gorgeous place in the world, the staff were very accommodating. They always say hi and introduced themselves. We decided to go parasailing at the last minute, and they organized everything from transportation to getting vouchers.

Our honeymoon in this resort was the most the amazing time in our lives. Incredible service, breathtaking beach and ocean and our over the water bungalow was so romantic. Thank you for the lovely Gifts!

If there is haven, it must look like this resort. I have to say that everything is flawless! We had an on the water bungalow with private pool. Everything has high quality, tasteful design, clean and the service is fantastic. The employees are welcoming, happy works like a butler service, they fix everything you can dream of. Well done!

Awesome hotel. Over water bungalows are gorgeous. Kaiaks and stand up paddle are free. Everything in there is too expensive. From drinks to dinner. You can have a free transfer if you go to the other Intercontinental hotel (le Moana) and get the free boat from there.

Probably the best place on earth to have your honeymoon or celebrate that romantic milestone. :)

The resort was beautiful! Perfect infinity pool with a view of the mountain. The rooms were comfortable as they were quite large with a living room, bedroom, and a large bathroom with separate tub. The best part is the patio with a table to eat or play cards, 2 lounge chairs, and a staircase into the water. We did a few excursions through the hotel — Scuba diving and jet skis. Both were great! We saw a lemon shark while scuba diving and learned how to break open a coconut while jet skiing! Also, there is a feeding time for the stingrays where they provide food and you can feed them yourself. Scary, fun and thrilling all at the same time.

Relaxing, friendly resort. Amazing views. Very much a couples and family resort. Don't go here to find your soul mate.

Amazing place! Beautiful resort, spectacular views, yummy food and a very friendly staff. Loved every minute!

Excellent stay! The view is amazing and bathes all the good times spent here. The over-water villas are elegant and spacious (we stayed with our two daughters). The kitchen is refined and attentive staff. Special mention to the pool boys! They were friendly with our girls the duration of our stay.

We stayed (unfortunately only) three nights at the InterContintental Thalahaso Resort & Spa in Bora Bora. It was just amazing and a dream. The resort is fabulous, the overwater bungalow huge and the service very friendly and helpful. We have only two improvements: The transfer from the airport is expensive, should be included in the price because you have no other choice to get there. And the resort need a barista because the coffee (cappuccino) isn't a coffee, it's more water with a little bit coffee taste. All in all absolutely great and we give a full recommendation. We will come back.

Amazing view ⛵️⛲️ love the ocean and jumping off the deck into the ocean pool wast great but you don't need a pool with the ocean.

One of the most amazing places on earth and worth every cent. You won't get a better view of the volcano then you will here. See some of my pics, they say more than I could explain here in words. Tip: take a day to use your privileges at the sister hotel (Le Moana) and when you get there walk down the dirt road outside the reception and take a right at the main road, just a few steps and there is a store that you can get your own beer to bring back so that you can avoid leaving your over water bungalow ;) Oh and resist the temptation to buy souvenirs at the local shops and wait until you get to the Bora Bora airport, much higher quality and cheaper items there.

Excellent resort! Staff is friendly and attentive. There are daily activities and ray feeding times which are exciting! There is happy hour special at the bar around 5pm. The bungalows are amazing! However, the cement on the support which the bungalows stand on are starting to peel off. Also, some of the ladders at the back of the bungalows into the water are kind of loose. Management need to look into these things.

Best Honeymoon destination we could have asked for! It was by far the best service and hotel on the whole island of Bora Bora!

We are extremely disappointed with the hotel after only our first night. We booked one of the more expensive rooms the Diamond over water bungalow (we had asked our travel agent to book the Diamond Otemanu room — but he didn't and booked the Diamond room). Our Diamond room looks directly across into other bungalows so we don't have a great room at all, and for privacy have to keep the blinds closed (which kind of defeats the purpose of having an over water bungalow). I am an IHG Ambassador member, however there were no other rooms available to upgrade so we are stuck here for 7 of the 8 days of our trip. With the weather forecast as bad as it is looking it was even more important to have a nice view from the room. We had a mid-afternoon sleep in to get over the jet lag and were awoken to have a cake and bottle champagne delivered to our room (I forgot to put up the do not disturb sign on the door) — after saying congratulations, setting everything up in our room and me telling my new wife that we had champagne delivered, we were then told they got the wrong room and proceeded to pack up everything and take it to the correct room. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. The food prices as everyone mentions are steep and the food quality is slightly above average at best. Overall not the honeymoon we had hoped for or imagined. Quite disappointed.

Everything is excellent. The water, the beach, the hotel. In all of its facilities. Dealing with the hotel also very kind people. Totally recommended. To rest. Without guys.

Having travelled around the world, I'd say this place is by far one of the most beautiful. The IC team make sure you feel special, and this particular position on the motu and island is just about as close to perfect as one can get. Definitely worth going for the diamond water villa on the outer edge of the hotel, uninterrupted views across the whole lagoon.

Ideally situated on the island of Bora Bora and a few steps to the beautiful beach of Matira, the Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort is the best traditional place of the island to stay.

We were stayed at the IC Thalasso Bora Bora in May 2013 in an Diamond Otemanu Bungalow (end of pontoon). One of the greatest experiences of our lives. Service was fabulous, people were so friendly. My wife went to the spa and loved it. We will visit again. One note for those who are going: Get a meal plan. Prices are steep and a meal plan will save you money.

It was my dream vacation, and it was just what I dreamt. After passing by all the other hotels, I was sure I made the best decision. Some Resorts looked worn, bungalows showing sign of aging, but the Intercontinental Thalasso Resort and Spa was gorgeous. Rooms were up to par, very large, spacious. Resort was dreamy, clean. Staff wonderful. We spent our last day at the spa. It was a great idea to wait for the last day since our flight didn't leave til 8 pm and we had to check out around 11 am. So soon after we used their Spa facilities, jacuzzi's and the best massage I've ever had, took a shower, rested. The massage table had an opening on the floor for you can see the fishes swimming by. I would love to go back. This hotel is a must. The Intercontinental has two hotels, one of the Motu, which is the Thalasso were we stayed, and the other was on the land, the Le Moana. The Le Moana was a little older and the water isn't as nice as it is around the Thalasso.

Good place to stay in Bora Bora, but the food is just ok. The service is very good.
