Imagine if a lovely family of gifted, world renowned artists built a luxury home at the foothills of the incredible Saint Paul’s de Vence, a short distance from the majestic French Riviera and invited guest to come and stay with them. This is Toile Blanche. We jumped at the opportunity to stay with the Leroy family and spent a night in each of the 6 of the available 7 rooms. Each night was a new adventure, different style and alternate perspective, not to mention new art work. Rooms with roller shutters and internal doors are sound proof incubators for the most restful night sleep imaginable, aided by the fantastically soft memory foam mattresses. Suites have ample room for unwinding and relaxing if you want more time alone. All the rooms have self contained coffee bar, fridge, stlyized bathrooms and incredible day and night views of the medieval village and fort of Saint Paul’s de Vence. The restaurant is superb, with the freshest regional and seasonal produce in all dishes, and there are plenty of public lounging and relaxing areas, including a pool and sun deck. The family could not be more helpful in suggesting, guiding or arranging a variety of requests for international and national travellers. Toile Blanche’s attention to detail and uniqueness is visible in every room, every space and even every fitting and fixture. On site parking was equally convenient for us but we also travelled locally using Uber which was super convenient and affordable too.

If you are an art lover — Toile Blanche hotel is perfect for you. We were staying at junior suite with terrace. The view from our terrace were breathtaking! Our room was amazing, concrete floor, stylish bathroom and amazing paintings! Leroy Brothers are responsible for all art in the house. They are also famous for collaboration with Russian rock band Mummy Troll to design the artwork for their album. Next year they plan to expand — there will be new contemporary buildings down the hill. This year we were there not in a high season and the weather didn’t allow us to fully enjoy hotel facilities so I hope to visit Toile Blanche again in the summer. But still it was an unforgettable stay in a peaceful place.

Magic place hidden in St Paul De Vence!

Worth it! I travel on business every week in Europe, and as such I check hotel prices! I"ll take a hotel 10 kilometers further away from work, just to save 5 euros a night! If you come to Niece DO NOT SAVE the 5 euros or even 20 :) This place is worth every cent, and believe me rather pay a few extra euros to stay in this little piece of heaven, than go to a hotel in Niece for e few Euros less! The Family is fantastic, the surroundings are rustic, relaxing, stylish France like it is on the big screen, only this time you are the millionaire! Enough said! sometimes less is more.
