Good location and good hotel. Style a bit "spartan" but comfortable rooms. The port is reached in 10 minutes. Discreet size pool and fairly easy parking. To be recommended anyway. Marseille is a somewhat difficult city for traffic and expensive enough so this hotel is a very livable choice.

Shame on them for even using the Novotel name. This place is trash: dirty rooms, sparse lobby, tiny pool. Avoid.

Overly price for that it is. They are relaying on the view on the port, but the rest does not worth it at all. Place is old, the lift is dodgy, restaurant food is very poor and expensive. If you ended up on that place make sure you eat outside, you will have much better value for your money. On good thing though is the staff, every person I met was welcoming and professional.

Hotel very well located on the harbor with a large parking under very bright dining room with a superb view establishment clean and modern staff pleasant without forgetting small pool nice.

3 Rooms booked None with a drinking view. Wall dirty couch damaged. Room breakfast still in the hallway at 11:00 pm. Not worthy of a four-star.

The penthouse bar is hands down the best view of the port of Marseille and they have a D. J which spins nightly with a light show which includes the pool and outdoor lighting synchronized to the beat! Pretty flashy fun it attracts some very good looking patrons. Rooms were nice and clean.

Good location, however the design of the rooms is too minimal. A bit expensive for the offering. If you can afford it, try the adjacent Sofitel. Decent breakfast in a nice view Hall.

Best view in town from the bar!

I speak only of the bar.
The bar is pretty sleek, without being extraordinary, and enjoys a lovely view on the entrance of the port. That said, it is extremely small.
Hospitality is very mixed according to the servers: cold, very warm for the waitress.
However, the value for money is very bad. The cocktails are absolutely not worthy of a hotel 5 stars: too sweet, little alcohol, the bartender makes a strange abuse of syrups that he mixes in abundance. They are not horrible but are not worth the price (15 euro).
More serving crisps salted with a cocktail is an abberation, especially if this one is poorly balanced and oversucre.
In short, go your way if you want to find a good bar cocktail.

A value could not be mediocre. Foul smells, a service worthy of a 2 stars, dirty carpets, showers leaking, toilet gloves, bathrobes in one size only. Subsequently the bathroom is large but absolutely not functional. Even there is no double sink. I recommend it. For that price, even extend his stay and sleep in a hotel, at least the price/quality ratio is reasonable. The Novotel Marseille old port is not worthy to be a 4-star.
