Great stay in a hotel worthy of its rank.

A great hotel with fun decor and nice staff, unfortunately let down by the restaurant (a seriously overpriced 1980s style menu, with only 6 items to choose from). No other food or shops within walking distance.

Nice hotel! Wouldn't spend a week of holiday here, but definitely good for business trips or if you look for something for a night close to Marseille or Aix. Note that the hotel is not located in Aix but about 20 mins of driving away. Rooms are lovely, pool looks good, breakfast is fine — 4/5 stars.

Very comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Alix in Provence, ideal to reach the main roads quickly, but also the city center.
The rooms are very well equipped and have good bedding.

Good size room. Bed closes. Noisy clim, lack of maintenance shower space and poorly equipped shower. Nice view of the golf and the countryside. Finish to review. A little far from the city centre.

Good welcome, good services, little noise and well placed. I recommend the restaurant where the products are fresh and quality.

An exotic hotel, which smells awfully good. The pool is superb, the restaurant amazing and the staff amazing. The rooms are more than clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with small gift. This is one of the most beautiful hotels that makes me want never to go to see the competition.

Good hotel rooms… Good food… Warm welcoming front office… Swimming pool… 18-hole Golf.

Great Hotel Bar service to review.

Location… must improve the bar service that closes in the early evening what not permissible as a structure far from the town center… minimal cuisine based on repetitive and unappetating dishes for foreign customers…

When I arived at 16.15 room was not ready and thé hôtel was empty and this was on a saturday afternoon.! The hôtel is in the middle of nowhere in a indistrial zone. not my cup of tea… if you come on a business trip then I can recomend. I can only give three stars as the weekend restaurant menu very poor for a 4 star hotel. All in all for 130€ in the low season not very good at all. Must try harder and get the room service sorted out.

Much better since its interior renovation. The rooms are comfortable and convenient for a long stay as for one night. The view is beautiful on the golf course and the Sainte-Victoire.

Great hotel, nice rooms, clean and provided with everything you need, comfy beds and quiet place.
The breakfast and the staff were great… the only flaw was NN to have been able to use the restaurant with the menu to the carte as we were a large group 100people overall I recommend.

Very nice reception, it feels like a holiday even as I was coming for a seminar with my company. The room is large and can accommodate a large number of people. The food on the other hand was a bit just for my taste.

Came for the bar in a professional setup. It looks nice and clean. We had a drink, the choice is limited to a menu with a few options, for example beer pint, half pint, Leffe or Desperados (it's a hostel, not a bar). All in all pretty good.

Small haven of peace and well being in the center of an industrial area. This hotel is charming, with a very atypical decoration. We are far from the chain of hotels without soul and impersonal. At Birdy, it feels like home. Comfortable bed, perfect pillow, bathroom and separate WC (how nice! ), very quiet. The breakfast is also ideal with a buffet that allows to eat everything. A big thank you for this relaxation bracket in the heart of a week of rain and greyness.

Inside a banal building on the roadside in a somewhat neglected area, an extremely comfortable place, with large, bright rooms, very well decorated, with infrequent refinements in this price range: Sony widescreen TV, Sanitary completely Gröhe, bathroom and WC separated, balcony, lamps design, toiletries the Occitan, original and warm decoration, espresso machine and tea bags… very nice after a day of work. The pool looks very tempting, but the moment I write that word, we are in December. I will have the opportunity later. Splendid view of the golf course (for rooms that are not on the street). Staff very friendly and available. The restaurant is in the endorsement, quality and service. A bit expensive probably, but there are few choices within a radius of several kilometers. An address all the more secure that it is not expensive. I'll come back to that.

Good standard of service and value for money with nicely furnished rooms with no special touches but cozy and breakfast quite assorted.

I expected more from the restaurant. In the rooms, I see no benefit in separating the bathroom from the toilet, although I understand the idea, it is not my favorite. The employees are all very friendly and lending. Nice to meet you! The rooms are very comfortable and large. I did not like sleeping in single bed and it was the room I had… The toilet door had a blow and the reading light from one of the beds did not work. Apart from that there are interesting details, such as the complimentary water bottle, the soap, shampoo and Bath gel in their place, the Nespresso machine with 2 coffees and 2 complimentary teas, the hairdryer (which I thought I didn't have because it was "tucked away"). Like many hotels, they declare themselves green and ask for the help of the guest for the daily cleaning (or not) of towels so that they can save water and the use of detergents (something that we should be aware of all and respect the use of their and reduce the detergents). In general, a very very recommendable hotel, nice, clean and with very nice people. A luxury!

All in all it is a very good hotel, the employees there are extremely friendly and available to their customer.
The restaurant offers quality dishes.
The rooms are very good (the decoration is a little special to my liking) and the service even proposes to "deprive" voluntarily of cleaning every day if you want (a gesture for the planet) and in counter-part it is the pleasure to receive some small gifts (Jams, nougats, etc. ).
The view is in addition very nice I would recommend this hotel!

Nice rooms, correct water rooms but missing the hair cuttlefish.
Breakfast much too expensive (€15). Chef de cuisine loud putting customers uncomfortable in the room. On the third evening, you are asked if you have reserved your table without even having informed the customer that it should be done. And we show you the available tables (in an empty room of customers) as if it was a punishment! The "small" staff is nice, the opposite of the head of the rank and the chef of the kitchen. Deplorable.

Absolutely the worst hotel I ve ever been. Nobody and if I say nobody I mean NOBODY speak english, all staff is angry, sad and boring… dinner menu in restaurant:poor… so I asked for steak, they answered (in french) NO STEAK… 15minutes later, steak on the next table… Never never again.

Not worth the 4 stars indicated, more like 2-3 stars. The negative: a Wifi to ras daisies with 30 KB/s… Not what quietly surf the Web. Location far from the city center and cold white Leds lights.

This Hotel is now called Royal Mirabeau. It was in Winter 2010/2011 renovated. Our room 125 was towards the car Park and was pleasantly large. Everything was new, including the beds. Everything was convenient, I would say perfect. The Pool was clean, there were enough sun loungers and towels. The food in the Restaurant was great. We will come back again. The only Negative was that you have to pay in advance. If not, you have their card details, Deposit and all, so Name, expiration date and the 3 digit Code on the back. All these details are noted, which, according to VISA is prohibited, because with these data, anyone can buy.

To be avoided. This hotel is well situated near several industrial parks in Aix-en-Provence. It is unfortunately the nearest hotel to these parks that I could find and the client recommended it. This is possibly the best part about this hotel. Reception: accommodating Rooms: Used hard; bathroom had mold and wasn't too clean — and smelled; TV remote had no labels on buttons it had been used so hard Internet service: wireless only — had to sit by the door for wireless and even then reception was sporadic. Hallways: Walls dirty, carpets stained, doors stained by use. Restaurant: Used REALLY hard, carpets stained, tacky decor Food: ok Service: ok I didn't use any other facilities and honestly went driving around to find somewhere else to eat as I really didn't want to eat here, but there was nothing around. If you've been on the road for a while and you pull in at this place, YOU WILL BE disappointed. It's not welcoming, it isn't even clean. It just happens to be the best thing going. I'm not bitter, I wasn't insulted by the staff and I didn't get ripped off. It just doesn't even meet minimum standards for a road warrior. Hope this helps.
