Room small look cruel ceiling has water damage TV is mini and breakfast despite prior registration the night before not available. Bath small shower does not expire. Tv French Russian Italian no German program at 60 channels. Not recommended despite super central location in the second row.

Really Awful so "Beware" Situated in a good city area and restaurants are very close bye. On my arrival at 10am I was informed that I had booked the last available room, was told that I could only check in after 4pm. Yet according to their website its 2pm. The hotel is poorly presented and only one person on reception at any one time its dirty and shabby. My first impressions was a HOSTEL not a nice hotel. I returned at 3.15pm and was given a twin room even tho we wanted double I was told "its the last room". The room was the most horrid tired room at the back of the hotel overlooking a stairwell it stank of vomit and the bathroom was very grubby. The beds were lumpy and covered with old dirty bed covers. The floor carpeted with and end of period smelly carpet. I could not stay there having paid £100 so within two minutes I was back at reception being kept waiting with that feeling of they new that I would return as few accept the rooms even when desperate Id prefer to sleep on a park bench. As expected the hotel reception was unsympathetic and refused a refund as I seemed as if I was joining a que of complainers. Unhelpful un sympathetic staff who have seen me all before so please move to another hotel close bye as there are many of similar prices with clean fresh rooms. I did complain in writing but was replied to as you sere given a good price and its not refundable. I contest I was mis sold the hotel and badly described HOSTEL standard room. Don't stay here go elsewhere.

Nice welcome. The room is small but clean and renovated. On the other hand the toilet smelled bad. Good stay but no more.
I would not have said it is a 3 star hotel but rather 2.
Otherwise for the rest we stayed satisfied.

Before booking a hotel, I always take a look at the reviews in order to have a trend. When I saw all the negative reviews about this hotel, I said "Bah still some bad sleepers"; For a night in love, it'll do! Well I deeply regret it…
I booked one night for April 1st (and it is unfortunately not a fish…) with a reservation by Blue Card that was charged in the morning at 9am, before arriving at the scene… — €75; I thought I was weird but not serious, it's done. Except that when arriving in the evening, the man at the icy reception asks me to pay 77, €80! I explain to him that the sum has already been taken from my account and shows him my account to prove to him my good faith.
So I refuse to pay, logical. The next morning the phone rings in the room meaning that the room was to be released for 11am; We speed up with my companion because I thought I would leave the room for lunch, which is the case with most of the rooms I rented.
Arriving at the reception, in order to make the map of the room, I thought to pay the taxes only; Well No… it comes back to the charge and asks me to pay again and shows me a poor Blue card ticket showing me that the "file closing without debit"… I recheck my accounts and the first levy is still not reimbursed; I'll tell him I won't pay twice!

Old, dirty and poorly conserved rooms. The only positive thing is the location near the shops, beach and the train station.

Very good reception balcony to redo otherwise it goes it's normal. Cons Very nice home.

I remove 2 stars for the dry reception of the gentleman in the evening, and for the lack of insulation.

For the elderly or parents with children from the access markets too high, once in the room the latter has 3 levels with steps, the décor is apparent to that of a cottage some tables are high with high bar stool. The seating his uncomfortable note table just in front of the toilet they were a lot of people, while wishing a great success to this establishment which is located at the height of the Boulevard Victor Hugo, for my account I would not go again… but it can be suitable for young people.

I stayed at this hotel the only night of Epiphany 2018, the girl at the reception was very friendly, the room on the first floor a little dated but still clean and with a comfortable bed and quite wide by French standards. Usual separate toilet cabin from the rest of the bathroom, but it's so everywhere. We did not partake of the breakfast, all in all the experience I would say positive. It was a very nice hotel and it was very easy to get around. Great price compared to nice standards.

Staff very friendly but hotel miserable soundproofing non-existent, very low service.

Room is clean and spacious. However, there was a strange smell, when we arrived. Ok considering the price.

Booked a double, and got 2 single beds, no possiable upgrade, photos dont match this hotel at all, a subway been built infront of hotel.

Old but very spacious rooms. Pleasant home. This hotel however lacks parking.

I found a lot of bed bugs on the bed and curtain. And bed linen was too much dirty… it sucked. And security was terrible. Window would not be closed. The thing that I extreamly hate was receptionist's attitude. He is very unkind… Even he didn't say hello OR sorry when I entered into hotel at first and complained bcz of bed bugs… This hotel so sucked!

We stayed at the carlton from Tuesday to Wednesday. Receptionist friendly, well-placed except for parking. By other hand disappointed with the room, flush that doesn't, no socket next to the bed, pokey breakfast at 8, 50, separate beds. So apart from the great receptionist disappointed from the rest.
