Very comfortable beds, staff were very obliging. The rooms were clean and cozy if a bit tired and musty, and could do with a refurbish. Also the breakfast was very underwhelming for the price.

So I gave these guys 3 stars but the place did looked tired. The parking didn't exist although maybe it didn't say it had any, however when we arrived we found a space relatively quickly. The room we had with 2 doubles was big enough, std facilties tv, coffee + tea. Reasonable view over the port from the front although a lot of it is industrial as its a working port. Breakfast was fine. And the hotel did look busy. Seemed really close to the ferries and it was about 10 minutes at most from the EuroTunnel Would stay again for a cheap and cheerful overnight stay.

Perfect stop off after a very long drive before another long drive. Ac rooms and comfy beds. Friendly staff.

Nice place to stay in calais. Located near by beach and the view is fabulous. But they charge for breakfast separately which will not be part of your hotel stay. One of the good hotel to stay.

This is one of the best Holiday Inn I have experienced. Cleanliness Serviabilite home. Excellent value for money. Hotel that is not new but it is a bit of a charm. It feels good.

Nice room for an affordable three star and ideally located near the main street and easy and free parking.

Nice place to stay, good prices, lovely room on 5th floor with views on Sea.

Disappointed… the perfect location… but for a hotel of this standing really disappointed window leaves past the air and water… We were on the top floor. Leakage level of the old and current ceiling the water flowed drip on the carpet with of course a "Floc" every 20 s… disappointed disappointed not at all at the height of reputation. We who wanted to please.

Conveniently located near to town centre and port. This is an express hotel so has the basics and is more than suitable for a short visit. I was there on business so more than met my requirements.

Great place to stop, they were very helpful after another hotel over booked and had no room for us. Beds were very comfortable after 30hrs of no sleep. Breakfast was ok. Would stop here again!

Loved it they have smoking rooms so you don't have to go outside for smoke.

Crowded, stinky place. The rooms are not well maintained and equipped at all! The staff was very kind and helpful but sorry guys, I will never come here again!

Family Weekend room 404 which for me is nothing of a parental suite! Excessive price of the mini bar. Great need for refreshment and more rigour for cleanliness (stain on lamps, hair in bathtub…).

The Holiday Inn, in Calais, is a nice, older hotel. But for an overnight stay ok. The rooms are clean but in need of renovation. The bar serves delicious, and the coffee is good, and the staff is friendly.

Good hotel to stay, with very friendly reception, only the cleanliness in the corners in the bathroom is we call it country typical, that comes with many. But in Calais a wonderful hotel to stay before crossing. The road to the beach is not too far, and for the car there is next to the parking lot front also a small underground garage and also individual garages behind the hotel GG surcharge, but when the car is full is nothing compared. Various pubs and cafes within easy walking distance, thanks to good location.

Very helpful man at reception. We stayed just one night; the rooms were comfortable and we slept well. The hotel could do with a facelift, but it is pleasant and I would recommend it for a short stay.

It was a spacious room. The place was animal friendly plus the access to English channels meant we could catch up on the news. The breakfast was decent and the service was friendly.

Clean Hotel, Central waterfront location. Access to the car garage via a heavy duty mount not indicated for large cars.

Room was spacious and clean. Arrived very late (3am) and was met by a very friendly and helpful concierge. We were only in the hotel for a few hours as we had an early ferry the next morning. My only criticism would be that breakfast was not as good as other hotels we've paid similar prices for. Although it was still fine and there was a decent amount on offer.

Nice simple hotel. Ideal as a stopover when driving to Dover the next day. Good breakfast buffet.

It's not the newest or most modern hotel, but the location at the port and in the city is very good and the staff is very friendly. Beds are good and the rooms are clean.

By account, after 3 days of presence, which explains my change of note, the air conditioning does not work, problems of partially solved WC, the elevator is now down. 5th floor of course. And also lunch, especially hot chocolate is bad. For the 10th price, it's heartbreaking. See you in the beginning of next week if I change my grade.

Been here many times ; plenty of on street or private parking. Staff really friendly and helpful they go that extra mile. Dog friendly too and the breakfast is fabulous. Rooms clean and comfortable with a range of uk TV channels available.

This isn't the sort of upscale Holiday Inn that you may have come to expect but it is friendly and welcoming. There is secure parking as the hotel owns a number of garages and parking enclosures in the neighbouring streets. Also a central location near the front and restaurants.

Perfectly clean-room, bathroom, beds and everything over all. Very comfy place. The prices are a little high but it's ok.

Booked two rooms with twin beds. Got one SMOKING room and another with just one bed. Bathroom doors didn't close in either room. Toilet didn't flush. Didn't get extra blanket even after frequent requests at front desk. No other amenities in hotel (no gym, sauna or anything). Hotel dinner menu tasted awful. Not close to beach. Rooms have view to concrete inner yard, just buildings around. Overbilled us nearly 1000 dollars for one weeks stay.

Very impressed, quiet, well priced, good service. Wasn't overly impressed by bar as two for one happy hour offer is per person not couple and bartender was constantly off somewhere else. Breakfast buffet wasn't really my thing as not alot of meat, looked nice if you liked that kinda thing though.

Arrived late at night (we had booked), we were welcomed. A nice suite waiting for us, and in the morning a magnificent view of the pool, with the sea backward plan.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Calais (the one near the docks) both before and after a recent holiday in France this September. We presented the hotel with a bit of a challenge even before we arrived as our daughter is profoundly handicapped and requires a special diet prepared in a special way. We were very surprised to receive a telephone call from the manager a week before we left England. He was ringing to check they had everything in order for my daughter. We arrived quite late at night after having a minor cris at home before we left and the staff could not have been more helpful despite the fact we spoke very little french. We had a lovely two double bedded room. The room was air conditioned, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size as well. Quite adequate for the wheelchair. Breakfast was a bit of a rush on the outward journey as we had not pre booked secure parking and had to get our car out for someone else to leave. Had we pre booked parking that would not have been a problem. There was a cooked breakfast option as well as a continental breakfast which was very welcome having not eaten much the day before. Missed the english sausages though! There is plenty of free parking out the front of the hotel but as the car was packed to the hilt we were anxious not to leave it too long outside although I must admit it all looked pretty safe. No rowdy gangs around there.
