Impeccable hotel! Clean and welcoming room, very friendly staff and top setting! We arrived late and the front desk contacted us to give us the procedure to follow as after 11pm they are supposed to close the front desk. The cot was nicely prepared when we entered the room. Only downsides, the lack of electrical sockets around the bed for phone addicts and the lack of shutters to the windows. But the blackout curtains still do their job well.
The hotel is on the edge of a small lake, if you walk 100 meters, you end up in a very nice "beach bar" where are organized evenings that look very nice! Unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of it.
On the lake you can rent pedal boats or canoes.
There is also a children's playground.

In short, very friendly for a stay in Foix with family or friends!

Too bad that such a well-placed hotel is also poorly managed, especially at the beginning of the season.
The air conditioning leaks, no cold water in the bathroom, impossible to shower. Forced to go to a room outside Etc etc.
Not up to a 3-star rating.

Very bad smell in the room in no proposal for change when I did notice worn towels breakfast limit I had booked for 2 nights but I went to M install in the hotel just next door for the 2nd night (breakfast) … much less s expensive, much cleaner and compliant has a 2 star hotel with a better welcome.

Attention This establishment (Inter Hôtel du Lac) in Foix is managed by a director unscrupulous to see villainous.
You will be for him, neither a customer nor a person to satisfy but only a purse… I had never seen this before.
I often travel with a group to play golf. On 22 and 23 March 2018 we had to play on the golf of Ariège, and therefore stay at the hotel in question. So I booked and paid by bank transfer the week before; 5 rooms plus evening meal and breakfast the next day for 8 people.
On the 21st in the morning the manager of the golf of Ariège contact me to tell me that he could not receive us this day, because it snowed in the night and the course is closed. (the manager of the golf course reimburses us naturally).
I contact in the aftermath the hotel to prevent that we will not come because of the snow… I'm asking for a refund or a credit.
For his part, the Golf manager sends to the hotel manager an email confirmation of cancellation, explaining that the conditions do not allow the practice of golf.
To this day the manager of the hotel replied to me by mail that it was too late to cancel and that he kept the entire amount paid.

Hotel well set apart the morning shower with lukewarm water…

I especially wanted to thank the chef who cooked me delicious dishes, tasty and beautifully decorated (as well as the whole thing). Part of the hotel has been tastefully renovated, if you are early you will enjoy the birdsong and the small garden. The hotel is located at the water's edge a relaxing setting … If you are visiting Foix linger for a little while at the Hotel du Lac… Mrs. Truffert Z.

Great stay, a superb room with a great quality of bedding. Very good reception for the reception staff and especially the restaurant, we felt at home and ate very well.

The meal really too fair. The reception in the room fairly average. As for the upper chamber it would be necessary to put a sliding curtain on the shower as well as a piece of furniture pear necessary (85th It does not apply). A value for money rarely reached, very good table, room, superb site, 25 years on the road hotel and restaurant, this is my Hotel restaurant favorite in the 09.

If you choose this hotel for your stay, attention to room 2 for 4 people! If the landlord takes you outside the building, you've won the jackpot: spring on extra bed-mattresses! slats on the ceiling to monitor electric cables, a lack of money or sloppy work? choice. Fleeing WC, bathtub enamel damaged, and in addition to the early morning spider huge inside. Wires for TV and others added, cache misery of the pipes of the hotel falling into this room that initially was to be the basement of the hotel. We no longer will be staying there. Surprised to see that Logis of france gives 3 fireplaces at this type of establishment. Not recommended very bad value for money 105 euros for one night!
