Hotels in Lower Normandy with Breakfast

How not to give 5 stars?!
We spent 5 nights with our hosts, Marie-Pierre and Alexandrine his daughter in July 2021.

We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the D-Day beaches, Mont Saint-Michel, and nearby villages.

Have stayed here at Laurences several times now, it just oozes peace & quiet, gentleness & relaxation, set in beautiful gardens & countryside. Outstanding hosts who are so trusting, helpful & caring.

Enjoyed our stay here as a base for exploring Normandy with its WW2 history. Spacious room with sea view. Mini fridge & kettle provided. Good shower with nice towels.

It’s been 8 years and we still cannot forget the night we stayed here. Just wonderful. Staff, the history, the story’s about acquiring the historical artifacts from WWII. Unforgettable.

Yesterday evening, I was discussing with my son about good food.
And we remembered the amazing dinners we enjoyed here in May 2025 with a couple of friends.

I've stayed in a room with Ocean view; it was wonderful.

Lovely spacious & beautifully furnished room. A large bathroom excellent shower and bath, offering lots of super toiletries.

The location of Chambre D'hotes Liz'A is excellent for reaching places of various historical and scenic interest.

Amazing place in a very beautiful location, the owner was so nice and cute and the breakfast was excellent with French cheeses, fresh juice and good coffee!

Le Logis de Gerberoy is a fantastic place in a fantastic village. Cécile and Olivier are wonderful hosts with Cécile running the lodging side of the house and Oliver cooking up amazing meals.

Cécile was a wonderful host and the breakfast she provided excellent. The property is central to Gerberoy and private parking nearby.

Escale de Gerbold is in an idyllic setting close to the Chateau de Gratot. With views of fields and a lawn set informally with chairs, you instantly feel relaxed.

Excellent stay as soon as you arrive in this guest room, an extraordinary view, an extraordinary setting, you in my eyes, amazed, the owners of the extraordinary kindness, listening to you, I

Very beautiful house, surrounded by greenery.
Kind and thoughtful welcome.
Large, clean and very comfortable room.

Very accomodating British couple are the Innkeepers. If you're looking for an inexpensive stay in a grand old property this suits you fine.

Tracy & John are excellent hosts, and the house is warm and welcoming. Bedrooms clean and very comfortable. We will be back.

Perhaps I’m not the best to ask about this place as we only stayed there from 22:30 then left early the next day at 07:00 therefore I cannot speak about the breakfast that is included with your stay.

Wonderful guesthouse with a nice garden and great views! The room was very spacious, clean, and with a view on Mt. Saint Michel. The bathroom also clean, spacious, and well equipped.

Just had a night here. Very quaint with wonderful hosts. Ok the decoration is a little old fashioned but it is so lovely.

Wonderful food with charming service. The breakfast was the best we have had in forty years of touring France. Dinner was excellent with imaginative use of local ingredients.

Magnificent place, quiet, the swimming pool is a real plus.
The apartment is very clean and a great host!

Great stay in this very pleasant place, the garden, the barbecue area and the swimming pool were great without forgetting the excellent welcome from Patrick 👌 who took good care of us.
I recommend

Wonderful stay! Fantastic room, welcoming staff, terrific location. Breakfast was extra cost but worth it as there were many choices for a delicious start to the day.

Our stay at the Churchill Hotel in Bayeux was exceptional from beginning to end. The entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

We returned for a second visit in 2025 after discovering this chateau by chance last year. This year has been even more enjoyable with us now being able to eat in the chateau restaurant.

Lovely castle setting.
Family run, restaurant great atmosphere and food. Definitely recommend the steak.

Smashing. Close enough for tomorrow’s ferry. Accessible, clean, spacious, excellent service, good food and drinks. Just what you need after a long day on the road.

A quiet hotel with amazing service and a very good restaurant. The breakfast was tasty and filling as well. Lots of parking, and a great yard to stroll in if you need to stretch your legs.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Best Western Hôtel Montgomery!

This delightful, quirky, atmospheric hotel is perfectly located for a visit to Le Mont Saint Michel in Northern France.
