They were really busy so it took a while to get everything BUTthe food was excellent and well worth the wait.

To flee urgently! unpleasant staff (I almost apologized for spending 70 €) : the frozen waffle is close to 10 € and a taste of cardboard, the pancake is edible but not delicious but honestly the welcome makes that even if I was paid I will not go back … good luck to the brave who will risk it… for my part, I would spend my money elsewhere, to merchants who appreciate receiving customers, for example!

We had a Caesar salad and a Niçoise, both very hearty and fresh. Good dressing.
When we arrived, there were no seats but the waiter did everything to find us one and this, with great kindness and friendliness.

We stopped for a late lunch after climbing up to the Abbey. The servers were lovely, and kind enough to offer a menu in English. While my son had a full meal from the tasting menu, I just wanted soup and a salad. The onion soup was amazing with a rich broth. Not anything to compare to others I have had in my life. The mixed greens salad was fresh with a delicious lite vinaigrette. It was just perfect for me. My son’s meal was very delicious as well.

Staff unfriendly and not professional, the impression of disturbing. My mussels were cold and most not open. We avoided the dessert and coffee in these conditions. They have especially asked if it was when we left… such a shame to run an institution relying on the tourists who come once.

Staff not welcoming. Very long wait for service. This restaurant plays on the turn over customer, and does not respect its guests. At the end of 35 mins, delivery of the card. 30 mins after, we left and have found grace in The Bell a few steps down from there.

I have never seen service as bad, waiting too long in a restaurant for a very very long time, we took mussels marinières and chips and the mussels were cold and served 50minutes after the children's menu! Has avoid! the question is how it can still be opened! A SHAME, and know that this is the 1st time I comment negatively. Tourist trap. Very disappointed, frozen fries of poor quality, rosé de Provence at 24, 50 degrees vinegar. Not kind staff. You have to eat fast to make room for someone else.

To flee, cold fries, not friendly, the rain arrived and we had to manage to get the cutlery etc…, Flageolets with water, pretty frame and tender meat.

Excellent location for lunch at the terrace.

Good service and meal! We dined at 12:15pm just before the lunch rush. We enjoyed the mussels dish and the egg omelet. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was good!

We stopped in this place (because the qualifier will not apply here) on Monday, May 7. We arrived five minutes before a group of eight people. They were taken care of immediately and their order taken while we were still expecting the short order cards taken at the end of 45min insipid dishes arrive 30min later… 3 tables are gone before you even take orders!

For my part, I had no problems. Of course the staff is a bit overworked due to the tourist crowd of the place but they stayed professional and we were even served widely on time. The quality of the food was also more than correct.

A disaster! Servers are unpleasant, we had the feeling to disturb them, the more certain preferred cooing between them, instead of doing their job. And most importantly, it must avoid paying in cash, because they don't make money and the guard to the tip (10cts I don't care, but this is the way. )
The food is a supplement, any, limit fresh. A trap for tourists.

Went there for lunch at around 2pm: so, past peak time. No greetings at entrance, no asking how many we were. The restaurant manager, seemingly of Asian origin, only muttered out: "go upstairs for food". Waiter upstairs gave out the menu and within 30 seconds came back to ask us what we wanted. We wanted 2 more minutes, and ended up waiting for 25. Then one waitress came, started writing and suddenly just went away. We asked our first waiter if we could order and he asked us to… wait?!?!? After 45 minutes we gave up and left. Told restaurant manager that the wait was desperately long and waiters not being serious. He replied "Well, that's the way it is" That is sooo not the French way of doing things. AVOID THIS PLACE if you want good souvenirs of your trip to Mont Saint Michel.

I give a positive rating, Contrary to the other opinions. It is true that the service is average, but the servers are not unpleasant either. It is expensive but it is a tourist area. The food is acceptable.

Bad service, Very arrogant. Impossible to get dressing for the salad. We had to return the steaks because the meat was so tough that it could not be incar the tooth. Two hours lost that we bugged the visit to the place. I don't recommend it. Better look for another place to eat.

Visited there last week. If you ask something from waiters, no response at all. Some of our group left after waiting without any service. We got service after several "excuse mes". Very arrogant waiters. Worst service during our visit in Normandy.

3 nights stay in the off-season. Wonderful staff, available, excellent. The room has a terrace that provides us with a beautiful sunrise in the morning in addition to the extraordinary panorama. However the comfort of the room is its unique asset because it is small and old-fashioned. It remains quite functional. The bedding is excellent. Very good stay which we was forced to do sports because there are at least 8 floors to climb to go from the restaurant to our room. 201. We are delighted to have them. The restaurant has not been tested as closed in the off-season. There remains a great choice of affordable restaurants and good.

I should have read the reviews before go, but as someone here pointed out, with a such good location I was expecting a better service. So wrong. Terrible service, unfortunately I do not speak French, so when I was trying to ask the waitress about the food (vegetarian here) in English, Spanish, Portuguese and German she just looked away. We ended up ordering just a green salad. It took forever, it wasn't good and we found a hair. Please, just go somewhere else.

Crappy service! We PAY 5, 60 euros a vulgar crepe with Nutella (of the box) and the waitress is even not screwed to slam a smile or even a Hello. I can't believe… The worst part is that you feel the coldness and the casualness of the service as soon as you sit down.

This restaurant just disappointed me.
The service is bad with a rude staff, 15 minute wait to get menus and 30 minutes more for the waitress to come and take orders that add 20 minutes for the entry (raw vegetables)! A typical establishment that has such a good location that it will always got customers. But this establishment is serving terrible food. Even the coca cola was without gas. How can you mess up coca cola?. Pancakes where from rubber, salmon was overcooked and famous omelout was without taste. Shame on you!

Loved the character, charm and beauty of staying in this wonderful historic heritage site hotel. Could. Not recommend enough, and have paid far more for much less.

Hospitality is not top most of the servers are not smiling… The patties are just OK but really not very hearty. Otherwise the frame is quite nice on the terrace. Unfortunately most restaurants of Mont St Michel being tourist traps can be found hard to beat… In the average price.

For breakfast, it was on the terrace overlooking the Bay, the always friendly staff.
