Amazing lunch, great value if you go for the menu du jour 20€ for three courses. Good wine list, lovely staff, we are always made to feel extremely welcome and the waiter loves to speak English. Beautiful building. You can park behind the hotel, follow the signs, don’t panic… Highly recommended.

Hotel with a lot of charm with free parking. Everything is perfect! Very warm welcome. Nice spacious and clean room. Very good bedding. Gourmet meal in succulent half board. An excellent value for money for this night in half board at 185 €. 1/4 hour from Mont-Saint Michel to admire at sunset.

Lovely restaurant good food and lovely presentation. The lady who brings out the food was the nicest out of all the waiters and waitresses. She was so polite and friendly. The others were also good and respectful. The patrons at the restaurant were a nice mixture of francophones and francophiles.

On Tuesday, June 12, we celebrated my birthday with a great meal. I regret not taking a picture of the "Fried Veal Ris, croissant, muslin of peas, light cream with liquorice" or cheese platter.
Everything was delicious and the service impeccable. The 3 casseroles displayed and the 5 stars in my opinion are perfectly deserved. That's for sure. See you again!

While the rooms are spotless, the outdated decoration and lack of light gives a gloomy feeling. Beautiful garden though.

We had a lovely, spacious room in the beautiful garden at the back of the hotel. The evening meal was excellent, with a great choice of wine.

Literally the best dinner I have ever had. We visited le Mont St-Michel with my grandmother and stayed at the Hotel. We learned the history of the Hotel which was really interesting (it was once a 17th Century way-station). My grandmother treated us to dinner and I had never experienced anything so perfect before. Wonderful service, the food was simply amazing, the wine, and my favorite dessert to top it all off. I had never felt so good from eating food before. Wow!

I've stayed & eaten here 3 times and it a little gem. Management & staff are very attentive. The restaurant is super.

Fairly upscale restaurant, somewhat old fashioned but elegant. The food is nice and you can see the chef has worked on the dishes, but slightly expensive in my opinion.

I have not stayed at the hotel, but this is one of my favorite restaurants. The decoration is traditional and not necessarily my taste at first, but all form a whole consistent and friendly. The staff is attentive and I am never disappointed by the food. I highly recommend and I don't expect to go back.

Former post House, the restaurant of the House of the golden cross is a great place to enjoy an original meal in a typical Norman. Beautiful dishes, decoration at once rustic and cosy, service a little old-school (in the good sense of the term). The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. An obvious choice if you are looking for a restaurant in Avranches.
