Hotels in D-day Beaches with a Pool

The hotel enjoys a beautiful location, and the rooms are cosy and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is of a very high standard.

We fell in love with this incredible hotel on a research trip for a group tour of Normandy. We brought a group of 15 people for four nights in May 2026.

This Chateau was one of the high points of our trip France and Switzerland.

As close to perfect as it can be!
The place is magnificent, great atmosphere and amazing attention to the tiniest details.
The room and the bathroom both were extremely comfortable and beautiful.

Cool little hotel-motel that is perfectly located to see the sites in Normandy and nearby Historic village. It was one of our favorite places we visited.

Quiet location just off the main road in between Arromanches-les-Bains and Bayeux.

Highly recommend this Historic Chateau for a relaxing getaway. Situated on a secluded property. Beautifully maintained with comfortable rooms. Lovely garden with plenty of places to sit and relax.

What a wonderful 3 night stay we enjoyed. The chateau's staff has to be the nicest we've encountered anywhere in the world. My sister stayed there in July and she said the same thing.

Leeza checked us into the hotel and what an amazing hostess she was.

Tardif hotel was not only ann exceptional accommodation for a family visit with 3 generations aging 9yrs to 73 yrs, 15 people, but also the staff.

Having dined here on our previous visit to the area, this time it was combined with a 2 night stay. The room was very comfortable up a winding stone staircase, overlooking the courtyard.

A delightful find. I had passed this hotel a few times on previous visits to Normandy and felt I wanted to try it. My wife and I went and stayed for three days.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay. Celine and Jerome were brilliant hosts, our accommodation (Chambre Tiny) was perfect for our family with older children.

I stayed here a few years ago and came to review it because I’m still thinking about how amazing it was. One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Royal Hotel Caen! The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

A great hotel right in the centre of Caen. Perfect for shopping and exploring. Good facilities and a very friendly and accommodating staff. A good breakfast and a cute little bar area.

This hotel was great. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. I loved having a balcony.

Booked and stay at this hotel for 3 nights, it's next to the Golf Club with a shared restaurant, where breakfast is taken, the hotel does however have its own small bar area.

Lovely place, clean and well equipped, just wanted the pool to be open longer.

Just after spending five days at Adonis Grandcamp Daisy. Two families, 3 adults, 4 teenagers, and one 9 year old. Accommodation is very clean, well-appointed, and safe. Breakfast is worth having.

Booked this weekend at Thalassothérapie Thalazur Ouistreham and didn’t regret it at all! A warm welcome received from the stuff. Enjoyed the services around the pool area, gym and breakfast of course!

Very spacious and very well equipped room. Quiet hotel. Not too many people at the Thalasso area we were able to relax to the fullest. The staff of the establishment is adorable, super smiling.

So special! We spent 5 nights at Chateau La Cheneviere, using it as a base for our travels in the area. It is such a beautiful estate with an interesting history.

What a fabulous spot! Wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms and property are just lovely.

It is a nice hotel located at 10mins by car from old city and 5mins walk from Caen memorial.
The rooms are big compared to other 3 stars hotel, they are clean and bed is very comfy.

The rooms are small but clean and the air conditioning is fine. The menu in the restaurant is limited but the service was quick and the food was good.

Considering the price, this hotel was way better than I had expected. Clean room with aircon, good restaurant, helpful reception staff, and plenty of parking.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Campanile Caen East, the accommodation was clean.
And tidy and the service was excellent, we would recommend this hotel.

Another excellent stay at this first class Gite.

En famille.
Note globale.

Pleasant welcome from the owner. Quiet place, perfect for rest. Comfortable chalet. Sea accessible by a path.

This was our second stay, the first being 15 years ago and we were so happy to be able to stay here again. The location is great to bring about to tour the American landings at Normandy.

Classic old farmhouse with stone turret stairs to the room. Close to the US landing beaches, very quiet area, excellent host. Couldn’t ask for more.

Jeannine is a warm and thoughtful host. She truly cares that you are comfortable and have everything you need. She is a wonderful cook who makes and serves homemade cakes, jams, yogurt, and more.

What a charming country house in Normandy — truly a fairy tale setting!

We spent a weekend for a birthday in this very beautiful estate which is very well maintained. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the dormitory is very nice.

A beautiful place to organize a wedding, a family meal or a reception.

Lovely accommodation, very impressive as you approach. The rooms are a very good size, clean and comfortable.

We stayed at La Fresnée for just one night, but it was truly a memorable experience. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Bayeux and the surrounding area.

Perfect in every and as described. It was tranquil and relaxing. Having the use of a pool was ideal after a long journey.

It was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were brilliant.
In the write up saying that there was dvd player washing machine cooker etc nut when arrived found out we werent abke to use the facilities.

Quiet, clean and very nice. A little isolated if you have no transport. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Very nice campground, clean, quiet, friendly and helpful service team and not expensive.
Highly recommended.

Room were clean and spacious, however we arrived in the middle of a heatwave and unfortunately there is no air conditioning. Fans were provided, but it was still very warm.

The room was reasonably comfortable to 3 people, however only two sets of towels were ever left by room service.

Beautiful setting, great accommodation with the added bonus of a room in the courtyard housing a fridge, microwave, kettle, chairs etc enabling guests to prepare their own food if necessary.

Triple room was nice and clean / had a nice large bathroom.
The property is set on a quiet road on the outskirts of the town.

A real gem of a find. From the check in staff (who were all lovely) to the facilities everything was excellent.
The apartment was small but not tiny, perfect for a family of four.

We had a couple of days stay at Vacances Le Green Beach! The little house we stayed in was very nice and enough for us. I liked that they included a washing machine.
