We have just spent the weekend at Manoir de la Fernandez. The place is magical. Our room was just perfect! The bathroom at the top. Everything is refined without counting very beautiful furniture. Breakfast is delicious. The owners are very friendly and very good advice on the good restaurants addresses! We highly recommend this beautiful property!

A very nice mansion in quiet decorated with great taste in a superb place. Excellent welcome of the owners of the house, with a lot of judicious advice as well on the restoration as on the walks, visits.
The suite is very spacious and the fireplace listed is very beautiful. The bathroom is also in the suite of everything else.
Especially not to miss.

Just magical!
A place that we would like to keep secret as there are places the exception would make selfish! Charming hosts, very welcoming to listen to your every wish and especially who do all at the same time guide and tourist office as they know by heart their region! Present in all discretion, their abode is just magical. A refined décor, beautiful rooms, hearty and tasty breakfasts, everything is only elegance and finesse. We particularly appreciate the Nespresso capsules and the Teas made available in the rooms without forgetting the sweets… everything is in detail.
Run it is just a must in the area!

Beautiful place of relaxation, we appreciated the calm, the welcome and the discretion of the owner, the breakfast is really delicious.
We had booked the suite Tocqueville large, beautiful and sober, d a beautiful architecture, the bathroom very spacious, the bathtub a real pleasures! organic bath products its at our disposal and its really very pleasant, small ovens of the Cotentin, coffee, bottle, tea ECT available in the room what is after a small restaurant a real pleasures by returning in the evening to the room, if you had doubts n hesitate more, we know we will retrournerons PS: for the cherbourgeois, if you have children and who you are afraid to leave them far of you a weekend but that you need to recharge yourself without being too far from them, go down, that's what we did, a 2km from us enfafant with mamaie, and yet total depayment, and well be in the head not to be far in case of problem:-)

There is no place as beautiful as Manior de la fieffe. Michel is an amazing host. A dream Maison that makes you feel that royal french historical slice of life… merci.

A gem just outside Cherbourg! The owners have not overlooked one detail. They make you feel welcome, warm and comfortable. The room had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The grounds and interior are stunning! Breakfast is served each morning at a time that works with your schedule. It's an easy drive to the Normandy Beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel. I highly recommend Le Manoir de la Fieffe. I hope to return on our next visit to France.

We go back this weekend offered by our children in this beautiful mansion. Stayed here for two nights. The room is charming, spacious, very clean and very quiet. Michel and Manu welcomed us with great kindness and simplicity. Advice on places to visit, but also about restaurants Michel allowed us to enjoy an excellent stay. We enjoyed the breakfast that we were served. We strongly recommend a getaway in this beautiful mansion!

An excellent experience than this 2 night stay at the mansion of the tweet (April 2015). Our suite was particularly beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. It is also furnished and decorated with great taste.
Michel and Emmanuel welcomed us like princes. The breakfast is simply royal: pastries, brioche, salad of fresh fruit, and even pancakes…
If you go there, stop you absolutely in this dream place!

“An Absolute Gem — Going to Cherbourg you must stay here” — GPS: Latitude 49.619396 Longitude — 1.587327 I had a short business trip with my wife to Cherbourg Mid November 2012 and found Le Manoir via Trip Advisor. We stayed in La Chambre de L"Admiral, a very comfortable room beautifully furnished with a lovely bathroom, better than most Five Star hotels we have stayed at in Europe and the USA and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was excellent. The Manoir is only 5 minutes from the centre of Cherbourg and the car ferry port, initially a little difficult to locate but with the GPS co-ordinates it is easy. The proprietor Emmanuel de La Fonchais is very helpful and very knowledgable about restaurants etc in Cherbourg. I have another trip to Cherbourg early in 2013 and hope to stay at Manoir de La Fieffe again. I strongly recommend staying in Manoir de La Fieffe if you can get a reservation. Room Tip: Reserve La Chambre de L"Admiral, it is excellent. Use the GPS co-ordinates to fine the Manoir I have reserved the Chambre Ste Croix for our next visit in April 2014.
