Super helpful staff. Close to train/food/shopping. Clean tiny room but, fun. Soft bed.

The apartment was clean and the facilities were nice however the Chinese front desk staff was very rude and using foul language while having a conversation about returning the caution deposit we paid! We had given 200€ as caution deposit when we checked in and when we checked out at 1200 we asked the money back. He wanted us to wait until 1600 to get the money back. He was really rude and using foul language while talking. We asked for his manager and he said that the manager has gone for leave. Finally when I told him that we will call police he got scared and gave us the money back.

Cheap, good position, clean. Little rooms not so confortable but good for the price and service offered. One or maybe two night if you Need a private bathroom.

Good location, quite central and cheap, I recommend it.

I do not recommend this hotel it goes for one night, the room for one person there is 50cm D space between the bed and and the toilet only to sleep, under bed full of hairs, the toilet between guime clean except the rubbish was not emptied… 4 Floors to climb fortunately I had no luggage… Short home A review the receptionist did as he little but did not even warned you had to put card in a boxing to have light, especially do not complain it is your fault and attention it asks you an email for the questionnaire LOL limit it is a Non-DSL Bâ obligation. 37 Euros All the same it goes because they are well centered.

When I returned to the room, the bathroom had not been cleaned. The dust has been accumulating for quite some time. I feel that this room at €48 is relegated to the last plan of attention of the managers. Moreover it is quite noisy, it would be nice to recall some rules of knowing how to live for some customers (noises in the middle of the night, discussions on the landing at 3am… In short I would not have spent 2 nights.

Lack of professionalism of the night watchman. It looks like we were in a police station rather than a hotel with its own, disrespectful questions. My girlfriend was very uncomfortable considering the way this rude young man greeted us with his accent of I don't know where. Very disappointed… In addition I had booked a double room, arrived it gives us a twin room because our face does not like it.

Did not have even 1 hr sleep because you can hear extremely noisy drunk people from the street very loud singing, shouting, playing music etc. Though on the booking it's mentioned rooms are soundproof, you can still hear talks and coughs from 2 levels below. The shower curtain was dirty with spots and stinky. Only receptionists were nice but the rest is not recommended.

Very friendly staff. There was a small problem with the reservation that they were able to settle in the minute. The rooms are clean. Very well!

Great size rooms with ensuite, staff very friendly and spoke great English. Really fast Wi-Fi. The only down side was there was no blankets or duvet for the bed just a thin sheet which meant it was a little chilly at night.

The hotel is very well located in Toulouse and the location is therefore very convenient.
However the room was much too small and the hotel much too noisy (poor insulation of the rooms, bad outfit of some guests).
I was very surprised to find no one at the reception at 7.30 in the morning and I had to do "by myself" my check-out leaving the key on a table at the entrance in the eyes of all.
Is the hotel unattended at night?

Room and tiny bathroom. Cigarette paper wall, breakfast to book on arrival! (not being warned so I paid for my breakfast, but I could not have lunch. ). One positive point: convenience for the city centre.

Convenient because of the metro and the center. Very small rooms.

Clean Hotel It offers the necessities for travelers or people passing through.
The prices are interesting and the welcome is nice 24/24 sincerely good value price.

The Google street view of the building is out of date as of June 2016; the hotel was a run down building but has been renovated to be a nice clean halfway cross between B&B and small hotel. I had to make a last minute work trip to Toulouse during Euro 2016 and it seemed every hotel and Airbnb in town was full or only available for a king's ransom. I found Hôtel Le Pastel and couldn't believe my luck when they had a room and they didn't want my life savings for the pleasure. Even better luck, they offered parking for 10€ per night (I was arriving by car from Bordeaux as there were no flights available to Toulouse). Upon arriving, I was greeted by Francis; an older gentleman full of energy whose English was worse than my French but we managed to communicate and he showed me to the car park. About the car park; the hotel is on a small street and they rent spaces in a nearby gated parking garage (literally 2 mins walk around the corner), but whoever is on front desk has to let you in or out of the car park. A minor inconvenience but no real trouble and at least the car park is pretty secure. The hotel door is locked with access granted from the front desk if you buzz or you can let yourself in with your room keycard. When we returned from the car park, I met 'La Directress' who had a little English and was also friendly and helpful as she checked me in. I had to pay some city tax on top of the room rate I had already paid but it was something like €1.

Nice hotel near the SNCF train station.
