A small renovation would not be too much. Good value for money and well located.

Although it's on a fairly main street the Mercure is a short walk from the very centre of Beziers. The reception is also the bar area and the facilities are limited. It's one of the operations on a shared site with an Ibis Budget which has an entrance on an adjacent street but is actually an extension of the same building, with just a fire door on each corridor seperating one hotel from the other. I would imagine that, for the relative room rates, you'd receive a very similar standard of room at the Ibis Budget as I suspect the rooms are of the same size. Staff were friendly and efficient and place was clean, if a little dated.

The decor is tired, the rooms are small but the beds are really comfy. I had the best nights sleep ever. The staff are really friendly and the car park is really secure (you try getting in to it). I would definitely stay here again.

Well located in the city center, affordable rate. The Plus: Parking certainly paid but located under the hotel, quite convenient when you know the difficulties to park in the center of Béziers.

I stayed there for 2 weeks, beautiful place near the cathedral St Nazaire and all restaurants.

Right in the city centre close to the shops on foot, 20min from Valras Beach… 30 min from Cap d'agde.
Nice and spacious hotel, balanced breakfast, professional staff.

£50 a night. Not bad. The rooms are a bit tired but ok for the money. There is a small coffee bar in the lobby and breakfast area. Opposite a patisserie which is great for breakfast croissants.

Avoid — located in a sketchy neighborhood — Parking €9, narrow and entry requiring a card given to hospitality, cramped, dark rooms and exterior view null — only the bathroom is correct.
