Beautiful… must see.

Disappointing and noisy.
We arrived in the room and the shower was full of hair and clogged, the housekeeper did her best equipped with her suction cup and a butter knife to remedy the situation but I had to stick it it took a good thirty minutes. The Joy was no more glorious, window closed we could hear everything happening in the street including the fantastic chants of happy drunk people at the foot of the hotel.

I loved it, a real boutique hotel in a period battissa, a staff with little care, friendly and accommodating at any time. I would stay there again without any hesitation. For info, the closest parking is at the end of the street, it is the most ready. And if the alley or the entrance is not engaging, there is no problem of any kind. It's worth pushing the door, behind a treasure of old stone.

Staff very friendly, smiling, good advice. The stairs of the hotel are sublime by cons the rooms, especially the bathroom part, deserve a renovation. Small and narrow bathtub, washbasin with hot and cold faucets working poorly. An effort to make on breakfast. We have seen much better for cheaper in other establishments. For example, deli meats from the supermarket could be replaced by local, as well as fruit.

When you first arrive at this hotel you are confronted with a door of rotting wood and peeling paint. Add to this the fact that it is not in the most salubrious of areas, and it does not seem a promising start. However, once inside, you are pleasantly surprised. There is an attractive reception area, and a small bar and breakfast area with a vaulted ceiling. There is a delightful but tiny central courtyard, open to the sky, with a fabulous stone staircase winding up to the upper floors. We were in an ordinary double room on the top floor, which was perfectly adequate, with a safe, a nespresso coffee machine, and a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom was okay, with a shower over the bath, although the bath was very high sided to step into, with no grab rails, so not easy to negotiate. The bath itself was quite small, knees round chest job, and I’m only small! The shower was not well thought out either. The hotel is direct on to the street, in the middle of Nîmes, so was very noisy pretty much all night. The breakfast was adequate, but a bit expensive at €14 each, but at least they did provide scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage, and prepared fruit salad instead of whole fruit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, if a bit Mrs Overall at times! There is a lack of facilities here but it is a great little “boutique “ hotel if all you want is a base to explore Nîmes.

It's a beautiful hotel with a look old. It's not too far from the city center, only few minutes. The room was big enough with a bath and the cleaning service was ok.

Hotel well placed in a very central area, the street is quite "colorful" but finally the hotel remains very quiet and pleasant.

Not exactly a four-star. The hotel is quite nice, our room with small terrace very nice.
An inner courtyard and a very pretty staircase. But not at the level of a four star. The night service is very much below the standards. The most unpleasant is the environment, the dealers in the evening in the street while you are in the center of Nîmes, not a real atmosphere to relax. A disappointment.

Very well renovated rooms in an old Renaissance style building (staircases and superb interior facades).

Charming Hotel. Good for breakfast and great reception attention.
The only problem is that it does not have own parking and you have to leave the car in the mall parking that is at the end of the street. (The most economical parking in the area).

We stayed in transit for a night here. The building is very interesting yet one night must be now but not necessarily once again.

A wonderful experience we will never forget! By entering the hotel, you feel like in a different world of past centuries. Incredible ambiance and comfort, the service was of the highest class. We did not want to leave and we would come back again. We highly recommend! Thank you!

Beautiful hotel, original and very well located.

We got a amazing junior suite for a really little price so it was great. The place is perfect for romantic escapes and the common space are fantastic. There's no parking.

Great stay. Beautiful hotel, ideal for a romantic getaway. Don't let the modest exterior fool you, inside it's very nice. Couldn't recommend more highly. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Nimes.

We stayed November for a long weekend and it is a lovely hotel in the centre of Nimes close to the Gardens, Temples and Arena. The rooms are well done modern and spacious. They were still painting some rooms as we arrived but this was not a problem at all. The staff are super friendly and will do anything for you. Wi-Fi very good. We opted to have breakfast out. Coffee maker in rooms bht would have liked milk with it. Great location and highly recommend.

Good location! Under 10 minutes walk to the Arena. The downsides are that there is no parking (closest is the garage under the mall which is €15.80 for 12-24 hours) and the open courtyard means it's noisy. The bed was comfortable, and the check in staff was courteous. Just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Magnificent Architecture of the entrance. Good reception and perfect room. Only downside is the lack of parking. But the one in the shopping centre, the Dome is 2 not, budget. To visit everything on foot without a problem. I recommend.

Simple process to check in and out. Nice staff. Besides that it is a great looking hotel, with some impressive staircase up to the rooms. Trust me, if you take the lift, you're missing out.

A beautiful Place, it's an ancient stone building in the old town, with those Escher kind of stairs and luxurious bedrooms. A mix between modern, romantic and traditional.
Super friendly and helpful team too.
The only 2 things to know is that you can't park up front because the street is very narrow in this part of town and the Wi-Fi is a bit weak but they are working on it.
This is my new stop from now on when I come to Nîmes…

Hello after 2 nights in this hotel. Very spacious rooms a too small bath there but she's there. A nespresso coffee very nice offered.
a small terrace on the roof. A pleasant stay with very clean.
a 10 minutes from the monuments that allows you to to move to feet.
However the hotel is in very poor condition, paint which knocked up, the hyper stained carpet. The neighborhood a horror especially qd vs arrive night throat cut. No stop possible before and the big downside forced to park at the parking paying 2 nights more than € 30.
Breakfast €14 per person really too expensive for what they offer. …

If there is a possibility to avoid this hotel — avoid. Private not even toilet paper. Who gave them a 4 *.
