Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights recently and it was beautiful. The concierge were great special thanks to Laurie and our gorgeous Food & Beverage Manager Manu who made the greatest drinks at the bar. The little town is very cute but not much content so a car is a must. I was fortunate to have a junior suite which was very large and comfortable with all the necessities. Love the traditional feel.

The rooms are superb but it's rather the restaurant that caught my eye.
The reception is wonderful and the setting very finely decorated.
Culinary preparations are high-flying and the wines accompanying them all are worth a visit.
If you go through remoulins, then push to Castillon-du-Gard only a few minutes by car.

A beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. A place to run away and be absorbed in remote French life. The town has a place to eat or buy the necessities, so nothing to do but read a book, have a wine and listen for the church bells every hour.

Wonderful location & very friendly staff. However the restaurant lacked food choice & does not match the standard of its surroundings. Starter portion sizes were too large & uninspired & overall the menu was disappointing. We stayed here for 3 nights but could only face eating at the restaurant for two of them. The hotel is beautiful but I would rate it a 4 Star rather than the exacting standards you can expect of a five Star hotel. These are small things but make a difference — our room only had a shower head attached to the taps which, aside from the fact it would have been preferable to have a stand up shower, resulted in water going all over the bathroom floor, our room fridge wasn't cool & as mentioned the restaurant was not up to standard. There was also a lack of attentiveness from the staff around the pool in the daytime. But overall we would recommend this hotel for its stunning views & surroundings, its welcoming & friendly staff & the sheer charm & character of the hotel building itself as a lovely place to stay.

The place is very charming, swimming area magical, staff nice and smiley but it's a shame that restaurant is really bad, overpriced, no taste, level of cheap bistro, bread so hard that I couldn't even break it, beef served with 3 baby vegetables — carrot, beetroot and courgette non of them cooked, carrot not even clean I had little crunch of earth on my teeth, we left very disappointed.

Beautiful setting for hotel. Can see why it was chosen for TV series. However service was a let down. Had to wait 1.5 hours for room to be allocated despite management saying only another 5 mins on numerous occasions. Luggage not delivered to room as was promised, had to fetch bags myself. Room not cleaned even after request to do so. There was overall a sense of arrogance from staff and hotel lacked any real atmosphere. Disappointing really as it is very expensive!

The most amazing, beautiful, stunning, cool, sophisticated hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are polite, friendly, professional and courteous — and happily entered into conversation in French with me despite its rustiness. The food was exquisite. The room design was simple but effective, all natural and local fabrics, cool, neutral tones. The courtyard and pool areas were so tranquil. My only criticism is that the bed was quite firm and I had backache after sleeping on it for 3 nights (but I am particularly sensitive to mattresses! ) All in all, a fantastic experience and we hope to return as soon as possible!

Stunning renovated hotel with very nice pool area. We had lunch by the pool, the pool/lunch menu was also very nice. Charming stone Masson village. The hotel is part of a small group that also has a nice place in the center of Uzes very close by.

Delivered to the taste of the perfect day! Very welcoming staff! Quality furniture and the king size bed a marvel and the pool a happiness! Thanks to the cicadas also!

Nothing justifies the excessive price and claim the names of rooms.
Decorations and indoor standard, type Conforama, without no interest: plastic garden chairs, rooms with the bare minimum, everything is done to the economy.
Service obsequious and everything just competent. A hotel that has nothing to do in the chain relais & chateaux, very largely overvalued in terms of presentation on his site in terms of price.
Avoid absolutely!
