Review of Apartments Bridgestreet Opera 4*

It should be noted that this company is separate from the accommodation you will be staying in — in that, it is a corporation that owns free standing apartments all over Paris. I can understand some peoples issue with the check in as it is at a different location than your "room" and you don't know your exact address until you "check in" so booking a car service, or if you arrive outside the office hours this could prove to be an issue. However, it was not for me and the check in was quick and straight forward. I stayed at one of the Madeline apartments. It was spacious and had all the facilities I required (ie. Dishwasher, washing machine). There was a small welcome pack of household essential which I appreciated (note: no bathroom products were supplied). The apartment was clean enough and was in a really great location. One small criticism, the mattress was not particularly comfortable — but each to their own. However, what has compelled me to write such a glowing and 5 star review was the service I have received since check out. I believe have mistakenly locked out a precious ring inside the locked apartment (as their is no front desk or staff, I was unable to get back into the apartment once I had locked the keys inside — as per check out instruction — there was no opportunity for me to go back to look for myself) I emailed the office and was being dealt with by a man named Benjamin who was incredibly prompt and understanding with his responses. He even went as far as to email me photos where the cleaning staff had looked — twice! Unfortunately the rings are still MIA, but I don't believe it is not through a lack of trying on Bridgestreets end. Overall I enjoyed my stay immensely and would highly recommend the particular apartment I stayed in.
