Great experience! 5 min away from Ocean drive and the beach. Rooms are clean and with a lot of Florida Vive, found a great deal on price line. They have breakfast, was surprised that the breakfast was really delicious. The pool was a bit small but the night I decided to swim nobody was there so me and my wife ended loving the pool all to ourself.

Good location, room expands but somewhat noisy having the road next door, my room did not have coffee maker as it says, no live music, staff do not speak Spanish, small and neglected pool. The photos on the page don't match the reality. But quality/price in the acetable area.

Staff is wonderful room was great for me and my family.

Everyone is here every summer such a wonderful place to be! Got a great Groupon deal. Beds were clean. I read some reviews I also which they had a actually breakfast and not just bagels but still worth the 5 stars due to service. And price.

The photos look better than the hotel does in person. The pool is extremely small and looks like there is mold along the walls on the inside. The service is ok. No one showed up at the desk when I came to check in for about 15 minutes. My room was in good condition when I arrived and service was performed when requested.

The room we booked was not the room given to us. The room we were given was smoked in. We were told that there was only one room available in the entire hotel left, but overheard another employee say that they were at half capacity. We paid $35 for valet each day, and when it came time for them to retrieve my car it took 1 hour. The hotel is falling apart. The pictures online are very old and don’t look anything like the actual hotel. The only plus side was the bartender she was fantastic!

1st, parking is terrible valet parking 35$! And to top it off the front desk staff doesn’t tell you that in order to get your car back you have to wait 30 minutes to an hour! No they decide to tell you this crucial info when you are trying to get your car. 2nd room carpets full of stains. Pool while nice doesn’t own a single lounging chair. Y room was small with an ac unit that sat on a night stand taking more space from an already small room. Very disappointed in this hotel.

This girl that works in the bar blonde hair karen be careful she gives you free drinks and shots and then she over charges u plus adds things to your bill she's stealing money and blame the coustumer, corporate please check the camaras she is stealing money from your company and blamming others for her things. Shes even talks bad about her boss stealing and going through her register to take money.

Extremely happy with everything. These people go out of their way to make a customer happy. Great rates for a South Beach hotel.

Terrible service overall. The lady on the front desk was helping customers as if she was making them a favor — not to mention her complaints about her management while servicing. Front reception was dirty and they tried to charge me with numerous fees, which I declined. After declination they told me they were overbooked and let me deal will the solution — no help at all was given, even though the booking was already paid for. Do not book here, unless you are ok with counting on luck for a good and clean night of sleep.

Cute little hotel at the south beach… nice cozy rooms and a small swimming pool… would be a better experience with more hospitable staff.

Can you give less stars? Dirty room, no parking, broken bathroom floor tiles, loud guest… just stay sway.

Security is a little lax, but the location and price are great.

The hotel is clean and very well located. The price is correct.
CEPENDANT, we had some makeup stolen during the cleaning (in the suitcase…). This is unacceptable!
In addition, at the check-out, no invoice given but the residence tax well levied (which is normal but not without knowing the amount and without having proof).
For these reasons I do not recommend this hotel despite it being all for a very good short stay… Cdt.

B e a-utiful. Originally booked at The Harrison (worst mistake ever) but after finding mold in the bathroom; I decided to look elsewhere and ran into this little gem. Great rooms and customer service. Love, love, love this place.

Stayed here back in November. A nice hotel, a little run down in places. Decent location not far from the beach. Clean, tidy rooms. Breakfast was good too, though I gather the restaurant / bar is now closed as it was being run a cool local cafe when we visited.

Very good value for money in Room 310 renovated, quiet with king size bed and staff to the small care. Good location close to everything.

Not sure how this place got anything higher than one star. Pricey "boutique" hotel that is very run down. Restaurant and bar has been closed for awhile, but no update of that on web site or travel sites. Very tiny pool. Skeleton staff. Room door lock could easily be opened with a credit card, and no other chain lock. Shower is either scalding hot or cold. Late check out is noon. Pictures must have been taken 10 years ago. I'm not a complainer, but for almost $300 per night, I have had better service and amenities at a Holiday Inn Express.

Nice clean place. And well located.

Positive: location, water pressure and shower temperature.
Negative: Cleanliness (there were dirty glasses in frigobar, sheets with blood stains, after passing the cleaning service for the room the bathroom was dirty, the rug idem.
The breakfast was very low. Of fruit only oranges.
I'm not coming back.

The hotel is ok, would recommend a stay there if you don’t find a decent other accommodation. We came to Miami last minute and almost everything was booked or very expensive. This hotel ended up being a good choice for us. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, close to the beach and a walking distance to shopping restaurants and bars. The staff was very kind and willing to help. The hotel itself is a bit old, which gives it a vintage style, but also there’s a bad smell in the lobby (no in the rooms so it was fine), breakfast was ok not much choices but we didn’t expected much. The pool wasn’t inviting but sitting next to it seems to be nice.

A nice local larger on the inside than it seems. Lots of potential.

Perfect location (5 minutes walk from Ocan Drive) on Avenue des Restaurants and fast food. Spacious and clean Suite, clean bathroom! Outdoor heated Swimming Pool.

Beautiful Art-Deco hotel situated minutes from the Beach and Ocean Drive. The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything you'd need for an enjoyable stay.

Very good service. Too bad it didn't work the elevator. But it was just a flat. The Big room. And comfortable beds.

Excellent location and comfortable and spacious rooms. To highlight Bianca's attention, who oriented us to restaurants for lunch and dinner. We were very useful.

The hotel elevator was not working so therefore all guest on the 2nd and 3rd floor had to use their stairs. I feel upon booking that information should have been disclosed to customers allowing them to decide or not if they would want to reserve a room or not. Two out of the four nights there were no wash cloths available for us, or at least that is what we were told. We had to wait until the next morning to receive wash cloths. I was very disappointed in this hotel. This was by far the worst hotel stay for me.

Everything is awesome, and the service is a little bit better. The cafe is even better, and they're very accommodating. Plus the location is right next to pizza rustica and 7-11.

New restaurant opening. Enjoyed the lunch very much. Definitely recommend the "the legend the lamb"! Very tres chique ambience.

The service was great in all its aspects, staff was skilled and welcoming. The room we got was bigger than expected, clean and quiet as requested. Some humidity stains on the carpets and walls were the only one thing refraining me from giving them a five star review.

Location is great, few blocks away from Miami Beach. They don't have regular parking only Valet parking and it was expensive. But have pubic parking right next to the hotel. Its $2/hour, 3am to 9am is free.

Hotel was nice friendly service but the water was cold stayed there four days and I had to call every morning to fix it toilet ran all night but the location was great n the middle of everything.

Delightful place to stay. Clean and comfortable room. Had a little hiccup with checking in, but everything was able to be resolved. When getting there, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Convenient location to almost anything around South Beach… only a couple blocks from the beach and some great bars.

What a treat this hotel is! So much Art Deco character in a beautiful setting.
To top that, all the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to provide a great service.
It's also in a handy location, close to shops and the beach. I would highly recommend staying here.

Super Hôtel and Nice Martini.

Well placed, rooms rather comfortable but no private parking.

Hotel Astor is a must-see and experience now that extensive renovations have been completed. The highlight for me is stopping in and having a beverage with Ray Estrella in the downstairs "Social Club" bar. He is a great ambassador for the Hotel, too. A friend stayed in the rooms and was very pleased.

The hotel is charming and cozy, food, drinks and atmosphere was the best but most of the staff and service was awesome ♡♡

Spacious room, very nice and well equipped, beautiful view, convenient location just a few steps from Miami Beach, very nice and smiling staff, full breakfast and available until 11am, beautiful hotel overall… nothing to complain about!

Large spaces and big rooms. The weather is struggling to cool the room. On the other hand OK. Kind, nice and helpful person.

People stayed like 1 year ago everything was great rooms were ice cold huge bathroom me and my nephew had a good experience downstairs even has a club like area that is empty because nobody knows about it 1 block from south beach.

We asked for a iHome seeing as it was said to be an amenity of the hotel after hours of the run around they told us only one room in the entire hotel had one and we couldn't get it because it coincidentally was being booked by people leaving the same day as us. We stayed for 5 nights and never did they clean our room after we asked multiple times. We slept in the family size room but got yelled at because breakfast only covered three of us. When we got new sheets brought to us the man refused to put them on we had to do it ourselves and my entire security fee they withheld wasn't returned to my card. Never again.

Went with a group and the Hotel was over booked and one person didn't have a room. The manager/owner of the place said he would find another hotel and that taxi would be paid for there and back as many times as needed. Room was eventually found hours later. Taxi was not paid for and of course he was nowhere to be found and front desk knew nothing about it. Another room's AC didn't work and it's a bother to front desk if anything goes wrong and you ask for assistance. Also there was no hot water in my room had to take cold showers. Do not stay at this hotel.

Beautiful location and spacious rooms staff especially the manager Mr Boris person extremely polite and helpful.

Way over priced. Rooms were disgusting. Stains everywhere. Every pipe was rusted over. Manager said there was nothing they could do about the stains. Was told just because it everything was stained, that doesn;t mean it's dirty. When I purchased rooms, the confirmation said it came with free breakfast and bike usage. When I arrived, I was told that I would have to pay for breakfast and bikes. Check in was guaranteed by 3pm, but when I got there, I was told I couldn't check in until 4pm. I have written the hotel several times and have not even received 1 courtesy response. Would never go back.

Rooms are HOT! at night the noisy air conditioner barely struggles to keep the room below 85 degrees. No fans or any help given by staff to cool the room down. Finally had to resort to the lobby as the heat was unbearable, loud music was blasting from the "lounge" which was closed but still blaring music till past 2am. There is no parking, expensive valets drive your car really far away and leave them on the street. The only nice part is the lobby. This hotel is not what you would expect for this sort of price. I wish I could go back and tell myself to spend a little extra money to feel comfortable and get a good night sleep.

This hotel was horrible experince. They told us we had to carry our own beach towel and chair because their is absolutely no pool and the beach was two blocks away. The a/c was loud and we got no sleep. Scratching and howling over top of us. Beds were as solid as a rock. There was one otomin and that was the " luxury sofa retreat" and the closest would not even close. The room we stayed in was inside a staircase behind a door. There was an ice machine bucket but the ice machine room was locked. And the continental breakfast was toast bread, croissant and cereal. The guy gave us the croissant but not my fruit cup or jelly and butter. So overall I hated their service and the 1930s rugged look. This time judge the book by its cover.

Terrible experience. The bar on the first floor is so loud that it literally rattled the fixtures in my room — and I was on the third floor. Music kept thumping away until 3:30 a. M. Complained to front desk but that was no use. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Great 1930 vibes in the lobby and lounge area, Hotel is very well maintained incredible small plates at the restaurant (taste and value), staff is extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are renovated (and therefore no 1930's vibe there). Overall great value just 2 blocks away from the beach.

Had a horrible weekend at this hotel. Checked in Friday night and after returning to the hotel from dinner, our A/C was broken and we had no cool air in our room. Talked to the front desk guy (there was only one person there) and he said he couldn't do anything to help. No offer to move us to another hotel or another room (later found out the entire A/C on our floor was out. So ended up sleeping (barely) in our sauna (hotel room). Following day we demanded to be moved or the A/C fixed. It took a lot of discussions (they didn't offer to move us, just expected us to stay another night with broken A/C). Since they were waiting on a part to come in they moved us to Hotel Clinton down the street. The service at Hotel Clinton was great and they had lovely A/C. However upon making the transfer Hotel Astor said they would comp us the night we spent in our own sweaty sauna hotel room (which was miserable). Still waiting for that refund. I will never be staying here again and won't be recommending this place to anyone unless you like sleeping in a sauna. You would probably have a cooler night sleeping on the beach with the breeze from the waves.

Not a really great experience. No hot water and the front desk said there was nothing that could be done. Didn't even offer to find me another room. Said that they would give me credit but I never saw it.
