Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and a very convenient location, near the airport, across the road from a very beautiful beach and just next to a bus stop on the Ajaccio to Bonifacio bus. Not many shops nearby but the beach more than makes up for it. Here's some pictures of the beach across the road (with a pedestrian tunnel to make it easier).

Spent a week here. Took me only 5 mins to walk to the beach (there is a path that runs below the busy road). The hotel was clean, quiet, and serene the whole time. No problems. Beautiful pool. Staff very kind and helpful (I do not speak French). I plan to bring my family back one day.

Way. Ineffective and unsympathetic reception staff. Nice room but no full door between this one and bathroom toilet!
Beautiful view but unusable terrace because extremely noisy due to the fast lane.
A little too far from the centre of Ajaccio.

Overpriced, overpromised & under-delivered. Cheap construction (we could hear folks on neighboring rooms moving about, due to thin walls/floors & poor insulation) with a couple nice touches (tiles in bathroom & wood furniture) but that didn't hide the smell of mildew or the crappy thin carpet over concrete floors or the location in front of a major road with no commerce in walking distance (balanced somewhat by the 5 min drive to airport). A couple more towel racks in the bathroom (there was one) as well as a soap dish in the shower stall (no tub; no door on Italian shower stall, yes kids put water all over! ) and a proper door (ours had decorative holes in top half) would also have been nice for our "family" room with 3 beds… For 1/3 the price (we paid over 300 eur! ) it might be a 3 star review. I feel robbed.

Very nice room and tidy though not sea view but mountain view.
Unfortunately we did not use breakfast because the request was 14 euros a head, I would say really excessive. Another flaw the hotel staff who from the name tag were marked that they spoke Italian, but in fact did not know and did not understand anything, besides the lady who checked us out did not even know English. For a 4 star is not acceptable.

Just correct, for a 4 star. My room arriving had been badly cleaned, remains of samples from the former tenant. And was not cleaned the next day, I reported it but no apology from the management who just gave me two small samples to wash me. Thank you! The pool no bowl in work and no discount on the price! Finally it was really borderline. We wanted to change hotels to break the work routine but we were better at the budget ibis! In view of the price are not pictures at least down the rooms are nickel and clean!

The hotel is lovely interesting wood caving everywhere. Food very expensive do not make light meals. Bedrooms clear and kept to a high standard. However you are in set on a main highway so that can be noisey. It is really no good unless you have a car this is a bit hairey lots of accidents. Buses are totally unreliable. Although there is a train runs at the back of Hotel it really does not go to very many interesting places. I would thing it is more a meeting place for companies.

Smile and friendliness are optional at the reception. Toilet in the bathroom which does not close = WC practically in the room = Hello hygiene and intimacy. Very poor sound insulation = incessant noise of the road passing past the hotel and planes that take off next door = Impossible to leave the window open for more than 5 minutes. Everything is in the eye pat (beautiful interior decoration) The exterior is old-fashioned, the concrete of the pediment and balconies crumbling letting the metal frames appear. 2 Tiny elevators and the third one down during our stay. Pool in work safe is not working. Shower drain very slow glass walls of the shower in the lower part.
If you have lunch outside you will do it in the company of two cats who rub with your legs and claim to eat establishment to avoid!

Attention notice to the salesmen.
The policy of management to brutally changed, if you come accompanied by your wife they no longer accepts you the evening step…
You will be obliged to take the room alone and if you eat at the restaurant it will be a la carte!
"The more the same rate" the more we are 1 June and the pool is not functional, the air con either.
It was a good hangout for the commercials but alas today I change the dairy.

Accueil plus que médiocre voir un peu snob de la réceptionniste. Les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles, pas de mini bar, moquette des chambres et couloir déplorables sans parler des humidité. Fin mai et la piscine n'était même pas remplie. Je vous le déconseillé cet hôtel à besoin d'un sacré lifting.

Disappointed as the pool was empty and this had counted in our choice of hotel. Main elevators down so we had to climb the last floor on foot with our luggage without any help… In the positive points and very good bedding. No mini bar in the rooms. Not really at the level of a 4 star.

Very disappointed and not the first time of this hotel D. Ajaccio non respect of the reservation and in addition nothing to do of my complaint hotel very noisy I will come back only if I have no other solution.

Quiet night but otherwise noisy as road and airport on one side and train on the Other. We eat very well and have a wonderful dining room. 3 assessors, 2 of them Small. Max. 2 people with their luggage and the 3rd for 4 people with their luggage.

Nice Hotel Too bad the rooms are not well insulated but very nice room.

Well we are at Campo Dell'Oro because we are working close to it. The dinner and breakfast are Incredibly tasty, the rooms are big, the bathroom is very large too. The staff is really kind and professional. I love this place, and I always feel good when I am here.

Very welcoming hotel with a lot of style (reception, bedroom, bathroom, restaurant room). The restaurant is at the hotel level.

Campomoro del Oro is now called: Napoleon Bonaparte.

Pretty hotel, nice workers but definitely not the best 4* hotel I have been in. Best points: hotel decoration, swimming pool, views if having front rooms, quite hotel, renovated, Bad points: No fridge. No international channels on TV. The worst internet I have had on a hotel so far. Temperature not controllable by yourself. And the restaurant… too much expensive for the food quality.

Rooms cold, dark, noisy (railway)

For a 4 star, ask for a deposit of 20 euros per pool towel it's a bit cheap. Staff sometimes pleasant limit… ok for one night no more.

You do get a very nice room, service is ok (nothing too welcoming), but the hotel is really far from city center and there are few buses (especially on Sunday). Don't recommend if you don't have a car there.

The pluses are: Room, Pool and Food Quality
The — are: the service is impersonal. It lacks the notion of welcome, simplicity, smile and warmth. Previous reviews and on other sites regularly mention the lack of fridge in the rooms. That is to be taken into account.
After a few adjustments, you'll have a good 4

There are more charming hotels in Corsica… the waiter at the bar is super nice though and so is the rest of the staff. I think it's convenient and the rooms are decent, but you can definitely go to better places; probably if you don't stay in Ajaccio though.

Bad food and conference facilities, personnel with non-existent English, Wi-Fi not always available, very slow and difficult to use. Overall not recommended.

Avoid too noisy because of the elevator that made a noise from 6 in the morning, kitchen very deplorable'
Frozen food warmed in the microwave, the hotel with view on the sea and on a double track very busy, no value for money! Very disappointed!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff with a smile, to the small care with clients. Food excellent.

This dated looking Hotel offers rooms completely redone with taste. The map is well diversified, and the atmosphere on the terrace is soft. Good value for money hotel!
