Never again would I go to an ibis, we book with a site, and arrive on the spot, the person at the reception does not manage to give us our codes for the room, the enter and the parking. We had to wait 5 hours before we had them, then we were in the room and suddenly an Englishman gets into the room thanks to the code that the person has the reception to give him, he had assigned the room to us and English. Then dirty room, we found a chewing gum under the bed, hair in the sheets, on a shelf full of dust, a suspicious hair on the bowl, short end I do not recommend at all.

Basic services, convenient prices, great location, convenient parking.

A good position in relation to the city centre, quiet, pleasant welcome, but beware: no air conditioning.

Very effective budget accommodation. Unassuming and basic, but efficient staff, clean room, great mattress and reasonably priced breakfast. Free Wi-Fi on top is the cherry on the cake.

We had a confirmed booking at this hotel but when we arrived they said it had been cancelled. The 1 person at the hotel desk said their was no manager and he took his orders from the computer which had no reservation and no spare rooms. We had booked 5 rooms 10 adiets and 4 children. 1 child with a broken leg. After 1.5 hours of discussion we gave up and luckily found 5 rooms in a fantastic restaurant hotel just near Troyes. Lesson is IBIS is only any good of their staff do not make mistakes. We had stayed the week before and the desk clerk told us we had booked 10 rooms. We said no 5 so our suspicion is she cancelled the 5 rooms on the return journey. Anyway the Hotel Relais Paris Bale is highly recommended. Good fantastic beautiful grounds similar price and friendly staff same distance to motorway. Stay there and forget IBIs.

Awful — booked in November for following April. On arrival were told no rooms available even though we had a reservation confirmation. We were told there was nothing they could do to offer alternative accommodation and took no responsibility for their error. We were then left to try and find alternative accomodation on a very busy weekend. The staff seemed to have had no training and were very unhelpful in trying to rectify the situation which we worked out was caused by a staff member accidentally cancelling our return booking the previous week. Will not be using again.

Very good compared to what we can expect at this price. Large parking which directly leads to the entrance to the rooms.

Bad experience overall. Nasty odeour in the room. The sink was blocked. Bad sheets had ciggaretes odeour. The staff doesn't speak english.

We knew it was a budget hotel but the arrival approach via the carpark was grim. It did not feel secure to leave our luggage in overnight as we were stopping over en route to our holiday destination. We therefore had to bring everything into our room. Only one pillow per person was supplied and these were paper thin. The towels were small and a grey shade of white. I realise you get what you pay for but past experience with budget hotels in France have been much better.

Excellent location only 5 minutes from the lovely ruelle de chat and all other attractions in the centre of town. Free parking at the back of the building for those travelling by car. Nice clean hotel which was fine for 1-2 nights.

The place corresponds to the offer. Nice welcome, the only small worries a single bed was not done or it was fine.

Disappointed with this property. Third bed not made. Plus my judoka girl takes a breakfast at 6.50 euros. It only takes an orange juice and a yogurt because it is in weight limit and waits for weighing at the competition to eat better. We take two mini chocolate rolls for after weighing and the person charged with the breakfast calls us telling us that we are not allowed to take the chocolate rolls. If you want to bring a chocolate loaf do not forget to take a bag for us Ibis budget c is finished next time we go to Ace Hotel.

We've stayed in 5 different Ibis hotels the past 3 weeks prior to this one (which is the last on our journey). They were all wonderful. This is by far the worst Ibis I have stayed in to date. We checked in late and was greeted by a rude and absent-minded receptionist who booked us into a room used for storage… we got booked into a STORAGE ROOM! Super thin pillows, 1 per person. Asked for extra pillows, but they bring extra towels instead. A receptionist is hardly ever around so actually finding someone at the front desk to assist you is a whole other story. They also have a note at reception that asks the guests to answer the phone when no one is there… are you serious? Lol The pictures of the hotel and rooms are very misleading. I would not rcommend this hotel to anyone.

We were given a room where the neon light was blocked without warning us of this defect while they were perfectly informed of the problem, at 11pm impossible to change our room, we are told that the only commercial gesture is to offer us the 2 small Lunch or nothing. We end up finding a solution by blocking towels to lighten the light, the next day we change rooms and they put us in a dirty room! On the last day we are told that we have to pay for breakfast because the concierge said that we had put all the flyers on the ground at the reception when there is a camera that shows that this is not the case. The manager has never communicated with us I even suggested that she call me later so that we can talk about this incident I have not had a return.

The good thing is the situation. Not bad for a stage but it is very cold its decoration and would do well an update. I welcome you on arrival at night with good attention but without going over. The receptionist in the morning overlooked and stressed out by having to attend breakfast and make housekeeper at the same time, grating in the rude. Free parking but no surveillance. No warmth.

A pretty basic Ibis budget hotel very close to the centre of Troyes. Friendly night staff when we arrived. Generally clean and modern but not very well appointed. Pretty basic overall which is I guess to be expected for the price point that we used which is by the way pretty cheap and handy for when you're just travelling through. Ideal if you're there for a short night only.

Very good place to stay. It is on a busy road, so rooms on that side are a little noisy, though the double glazing does a good job. Everything worked, breakfast was good, and there's private parking.

Exactly as it says on the tin — good value and location.

The only thing that I think is wrong is that since you leave Spain you have to speak their language, it is amazing that they do not know anything a person who is at reception and in Spain if you do not know two or three languages do not want.

Classic and unsurprising chain hotel with parking located above the hotel. Good location in relation to the city centre. We're in Paris foot in five minutes.

Considering this is an Ibis budget hotel, this place is actually very good. Our room was clean and larger than expected. Adding air conditioning would be a significant improvement.

Right Hotel. Clean. Lack of service. Breakfast is scarce.

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling back to the UK from Italy. Positive: convenient location, plenty of parking, clean and tidy. Negative: receptionist spoke no English, lack of signage for car park (you think you are driving in to a building site, so may not enter without signs), strange ventilation hole in the wall between bathroom and bedroom at the same level as the toilet so bit of a lack of privacy.

Home amiable but without most of the receptionist — functional room, for me it is enough for 2 nights.
Cleanliness of the shower tray to review — shower curtain change (mold).
Breakfast simple but to will — relatively small breakfast room (there's traffic jam at 8:30) — too few tables "classics" because strong emphasis placed at the "bar with stools" style.
We appreciated the free parking and proximity to the city centre that can be visited on foot.
Room Tip: prefer the rooms at odd number which overlook the parking lot because calmer.

Very warm welcome.
The two ladies with whom we have been in contact were both very polite, helpful and competent.
The hotel is clean and well run.
No reason to go anywhere else!

Hotel IBIS budget stinking sewer 24/7, good markets and fools employees who rafistolent track a red tape of construction site shots (and rummage in the Affairs of the people) in our absence, cater to customers like a dog. Refuse to add me one night because I offended the local inbred to the night staff who wants to show off in front of customers. Hotel crap has avoided.

Mega draw we go on holiday to get bored.

Clean and reasonable price (I booked 4 hours before, one Saturday). Nice reception staff. Nothing to say.
