La Folie Saint Julien Hotel

La Folie Saint Julien is a peaceful place made with taste, where you will feel at home. The guests are of rare friendliness, listening and friendliness (thanks again to you 2). Breakfasts and snacks (due to Covid) are delicious, homemade and with local produce. You will enjoy resting peacefully on a sun lounger after a long day of visits to the castles (or other as there is no shortage of activities in the area). Go with your eyes closed!

Absolutely exsquisit and Christine the hostess was really helpful and friendly, room's were beautiful and quality decour, breakfast was all homemade and served elegantly. Swimming pool was a bonus after a long day sight seeing. Quality time mother and daughter together, we highly recommend that if you hire a car, stay here, not far from all the beautiful villages and castles.

Idyllic! Amazing! Beautiful! A guest house more than perfect! Calm and charm of the house, friendliness of our hostess! Everything was perfect! We warned Christine that we would arrive after 20h, there were no worries, she was very understanding, she even reserved a restaurant to the side of the house, that we went upon our arrival. The pool is very clean, Christine, we left it open until late in the evening that we can enjoy a minimum. The breakfast was extra! A lot of things made in-house in order to delight our taste buds. Refuelled continuously, top! The area looks gorgeous too, I think we will be back soon! Thank you for everything!

Really enjoyed our stay at La Folie. Beautiful stylish room, an amazing breakfast and a wonderful host. What more can one wish for? We surely hope to go back one day, as there is so much to see in the region and I think La Folie Saint Julien is the ideal place to stay.

This beautiful B&B is in an excellent location from which to explore the chateaux of the Loire. It is easy to find. The home has been tastefully renovated and the rooms are very stylish, comfortable, and quiet. The generous breakfast offerings included several breads and homemade items. We are especially grateful to Christine for her generous hospitality allowing us to have adjoining rooms with the friends with whom we were traveling. She was also very helpful in obtaining dinner reservations and in helping us find an excellent local guide.

A beautiful place to stay with a lovely couple as hosts. Breakfasts always have plenty of options and they sourced some gluten free items for a member of my party.

There was only one thing wrong with our stay here — it wasn't long enough! We absolutely loved everything about this little piece of heaven. From the extremely stylish and comfortable room, to the gorgeous pool in the barn, and the utterly fabulous breakfasts. A peaceful spot in easy reach of the most fabulous chateau where we spent a day wandering around the beautiful house & gardens, wine tasting and having lunch. Christine and her husband were the most wonderful hosts and we felt completely at home whilst being totally spoilt! More than 5 star. Thank you Christine, from Renee & Adrian xx P. S. A FANTASTIC bed and breakfast. The hosts are truly wonderful and provide a delicious breakfast spread each day, catering to whatever needs you may have, be it a gluten intolerance or a love for pancakes. A great location, great rooms, delicious breakfast and a wonderful hostess.

Dream : Here is the best adjective to describe the Madness of St Julian's. We loved the setting, the decoration, with a predilection for the colors and objects that incrivent completely in a set at once timeless, understated, and intimate. The welcome was warm, the hosts very caring ; a great thank you for us to have proposed to you to adapt to our project of visiting the garden in the night of Chaumont and your board of restaurant. Not to mention the breakfast with jams, fresh fruit, pancakes and small cakes home as well the little café proposed much later by our host Bertrand while we were enjoying the garden a bit as if we were friends. It is the little touches like this that make the difference. Please don't hesitate to discover this magical place, the hosts fantastic. And a big thank you to both of you, you are charming to the image of your guest house.
