The hotel is full of promise, but for our part we were poorly received. The reception is not the same for all guests and we were ripped off when the room was paid: we had been reimbursed 3 nights following our early departure due to mourning, the room was reassigned (as confirmed to me by the reception manager) but the sum was raised 24 hours later. So it seems that the hotel allows itself to charge the same room twice. To run away.

The site and building itself are very beautiful and we definitely appreciate the thousand-year history of the abbaye. We had a less pleasant stay though: 1) the garden view room was very small, with only cold water shower in the evening which is inconvenient for a hot summer day (reason was too many guests taking shower at the same time) ; 2) the EUR 25 per person breakfast offers quite poor selection which does not justify the price (I. E. You make your own tea and there is no customised egg station, only pre-boiled eggs available).

A place ideally placed in front of one of the most beautiful views of Lake Annecy: Talloires Bay. Don't hesitate to stop at the Abbey for a drink on the garden terrace facing the lake. Good cocktails, nice service and very good value for money.

Stunning hotel, comfortable room, beautiful view and perfect swimming. Great destination to make for two. We didn't have time to make the sound but we'll be back :)

We’ve never stayed here because it’s always fully booked in the summer but we usually eat at the outdoor restaurant few times in the season and we love it! We never miss a summer here because the food, views and wine are great and we make it a day of lunch, swimming in the lake n reading. Outsiders pay extra to be on the pontoon but lying in their gardens for free is even better if u want a little shade n respite from the heating heat. I can’t recommend it enough.

What a glorious setting for lunch on a sunny day. A beautiful old ecclesiastical building now deployed as a fine hotel with carefully preserved features. A lovely garden setting overlooking the lake. Excellent friendly service from all the staff and a well judged menu. Well worth the trip to this end of Lac d'Annecy. Taking the road to the South will give you the best views of the lake as you arrive and depart.

The hotel is singular, in this ancient Abbey, the atmosphere is peculiar. Intriguing although a little dated, the facilities clean and well maintained but they deserve to be put to the taste of the day…

Booking for a birthday one night on weekdays. No disappointment, very good service! The kitchen is very good, refined. Very large wine list, average wines 75euros the bottle. 3 menus and the map. Choice of dishes very well. (Small flat, sugar a little too present (some dishes sweet-salty) and dessert a little too sweet. To be discovered in any case!

When entering this hotel, you already share a thousand years of history with generations of monks of this ancient abbey… A magical and unique place with a friendly staff, helpful and open to discussion. High standard rooms with high quality bedding. Guaranteed rest at 100% with no car and Annecy Lake a few meters away. If the sun is the part, you are even close to reaching a very Mediterranean atmosphere. And, as a bonus, a chef who widely deserves a macaroon for his five-course menu. Benedict and Charles.

Very good. Very good reception, place incredible, very well decorated and view on the lake in peace.

A bit pricey, but the exterior and interior decorations are superb. A drink on the terrace is in any case very pleasant.

Having found a promotional offer on the Internet.
I call the establishment for reservation, the latter tell me basically: "Sir we still have rooms available for Sunday April 1st, on conditions you take an extra night the day before".
My answer: "I can not, I would just like to book for one Night" their answer: "In these cases there sir I'm sorry there is no room available for one night" and you call it a 4 *?
They think of the hotels in developing countries. Or scam and company are the master words of the janitors.

Very welcoming staff… The charm of the rooms (the prior's room) … Exceptional if have liked the old… An original period room as I would always have liked to spend a night there. It does.

A hotel with great benefits! Very friendly and professional staff. The frame and the walls of the abbey are exceptional. The rates are at the height of the services. It just misses a small pool for the kids. Otherwise everything is perfect. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Beautiful place on the shores of Lake Annecy in the waters of a sapphire Blue. The abbey lies at the end of a pedestrian impasse, it is the quietest place in the village, no traffic noise and the view of the lake is just superb. The abbey is very nice, the staff very nice. It is the starting point for beautiful hikes on the heights of Annecy. The beach is not far away either with several activities offered like Diving. The only downside: the rooms are narrow and poorly soundproofed.

We stayed here for one night on Nov. 2nd. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel is picturesque. We did not eat in the restaurant so I can't judge that. My only slight complaint is that the Wi-Fi is WEAK and SLOW. We stayed in room 34 (? ) and we could only get Wi-Fi signal in the bathroom or we had to go outside into the courtyard area.

Nothing to Say.! Just to the Top. Very nice staff Beautiful Hotel Everything is done to relax in this paradise Setting.

Start with a stunning location, add a beautiful and historic building, and fill it all up with very good service. The Abbeye de Talloires is a special place, by far the most luxurious spot on Lac D'Annecy.

This is the most romantic place you could ever go to. The scenery is breathtaking. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. I had the best night sleep. Very comfortable and cosy with wonderful view of the lake. I hope to go back again. You will not be disappointed. If you think the Lake District is beautiful, imagine it ten times more beautiful and this is where you will be!

The place is beautiful, in a protected place at the edge of Lake Annecy, with a great view. The Hotel even has a lot of charm, they also warn that atmosphere desired summer "in its own juice"… Unfortunately the rooms are not at the height: dated, small; In short, not worth the price asked, especially the extra cost a "lake view" room. The restaurant, on the other hand, is excellent! Dishes and wines and a very good service!

Just gorgeous. The location is unbeatable in one of the most beautiful spots on the planet. Service is excellent. The building is historic, enchanting and classic; don't expect modernity. Rooms can be small (likewise bathrooms) — a very small price to pay for the whole experience when you can get a lake view like this. Much better value for money than several Talloires alternatives, and highly recommended.

Meals are really exquisite, only flat, the duration of the meal (allow about 2 h 30).
2 beautiful ballads to the departure of the Abbey, otherwise Annecy is not so far, about 20 min.
Staff takes care of explain you what there is to see and do.

I went to his terrace Paul Cézanne and could tell you that summer. But what more beautiful than to be served in the shade of the plane trees with a kitchen very refined. Delicious! I even half-measure compared to the cottage but very light sets it apart. When the price you can get by cheaper than the neighbor.
