Le Prioula

The hotel is run by a young couple whom guests describe as very kind, welcoming, cheerful, and passionate about what they do. The hosts show genuine care, strive to accommodate every guest request, and are always on hand to assist or provide helpful advice for visiting the region. The service is characterized as warm, friendly, and attentive.

Breakfast at the hotel is described as very good and generous. The offering includes bread, butter, jams, croissants, chocolate croissants, juice, and a choice of hot beverage.

The restaurant offers high-quality cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu features fish, locally raised beef, and duck dishes, alongside gourmet appetizers such as beef carpaccio and foie gras. The desserts are particularly highlighted, including homemade berry pavlova and creamy puddings. Most guests praise the taste and presentation of the dishes; however, one visitor noted the absence of a set menu (à la carte only) and expressed dissatisfaction that a carafe of red wine was served chilled from the refrigerator.

The rooms are newly renovated, clean, functional, and equipped with air conditioning. Despite their modest size, some rooms feature separate toilets and bathrooms. Guests speak highly of the quality of the bedding, noting the new and very comfortable queen-size beds (160 cm), which ensure a restful night's sleep.

The rooms offer magnificent and inspiring views over the surrounding countryside and the Dordogne valley, which guests particularly enjoy in the morning.

The hotel has a very peaceful, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. Many guests describe the property as their "haven" thanks to the sense of comfort and the owners' genuine hospitality.
