This is a budget hotel that offers FREE dog stays, FREE Wi-Fi and FREE parking, which was perfect for us as we stayed one night en-route to Spain. The couple who run the hotel are extremely welcoming and friendly.
It’s genuinely dog-friendly. We had read in a previous review that there might be a dog deposit and a room inspection on departure, but we weren’t charged anything on this occasion. We always travel with our own dog bed, and as our dog isn’t allowed on beds at home, this wasn’t an issue for us.
The room was more than adequate for our needs, with a large double bed, air conditioning/heating, a wall-mounted TV, desk and chair, and an en-suite shower. The room and bed were clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was €6.90 per person and continental style, with coffee, tea or hot chocolate served. It was more than ample for us and was served by the hotel owner.
There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, but when I asked at reception, one was kindly provided.
We would happily return again, purely for the friendliness and warm welcome from the hosts.
Simple rooms, hot water, all very clean, friendly welcome, modest but decent breakfast, easy parking and a bonus boulodrome with horse. All at a very fair price. What’s not to like? Merci bcp.
