Domaine de Silencenia Hotel

We are delighted to have chosen this Domaine on wonderbox as we have been very well received by Andoni in this vast mansion with typical Basque charm! Very nice and quiet room with a view of the Park… What more to ask? A gastronomic meal and I will add cultural that we had the pleasure to share with the other occupants and prepared with care by the master of Maison Andoni, excellent meal as well as the culture meeting! So do not hesitate go there you will not be disappointed! I renew as well as my companion a big thank you and a little wink of the Sauternais! Adishatz.

I was at the bed and breakfast "silencenia" for two nights, this stay was perfect. Warm welcome, soothing place and clean and correct rooms. Easy to find, tips to get to some places in the area, very welcoming owner. If I come back to the corner will be here as I would return.

Domains Silencenia has almost everything. Andoni makes you most welcome (and speaks English fluently). Breakfast is superb with home made crêpes and lovely coffee. Everything is very clean and well thought out. Acres of garden, a lake with carp, a swimming pool, outside barbeque area with cooking facilities, cover, tables, ping pong. Inside pool table, longer with TV, Wi-Fi etc.

Very welcome in a green and bucolic setting.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Very nice and atypical residence of the Basque country. Very clean hotel. Possibility to have activities around the property as well as outdoors. Delicious meal offered as well as the Basque wine tastings (breakfast is also very varied). I recommend it to anyone needing to escape as well as enjoy this beautiful home. Thank you once again Andoni for the time spent we will return with great pleasure.

Weekend lovers in this area is sublime. Warm and simple, remains beautiful and comfortable. We arrived in late afternoon and took time to visit the great well-kept Park. Phillipe well advised us to find local products and discover the surrounding area. The host table offered is very good value for money we have fun bcp. Each year, we spend our summer holiday to the BASQUE country for 6 years.
The field of Silencenia is really beautiful with its Park, its Lake and outdoor pool.
The rooms are comfortable and to theme, we were in the PETRUS room but bottles were empty in the room;).  
Breakfast plentiful and very good (home-made jams, a treat).  
The meal is made with Basque, excellent products.
The home of RUTH and Philip is exceptional full of simplicity, straight talk, honesty, sharing, human values ==> as we say at home, those are beautiful people.
Go relax and share good moments in the field of Silencenia, you will surely leave different…

We found this little corner of paradise, a resting place, a warm welcome, a very tasty and filling meal, a quality room, everything was perfect! A big thank you to Philip and Ruth for their overflowing kindness.

Arrival too rough around the edges. Humor a bit too crude and too fake. An air of fake jet setter and a companion who just serve us without a word or a smile. Tasteless and rushed meal. We we removed the dishes from the mouth. We are kindly asked to leave the table to prepare breakfast for the next day. No coffee d not after, it abandons us in the living room saying we made at home… No games. Do not use the pool table is just a decorative object. TV is occupied by her child since blends privacy and space of the client. Nothing to do with the rooms d hosts we have the habit to attend. Breakfast breakfast and commonplace. Not much to eat. Housing or mingles the privacy of the owner and the customer feels at ease. Room average, not really nice or comfortable. For a wondebox on the unusual theme, we are not at all or so but in the wrong way. Do not recommend.

Philip and Ruth we welcomed as if we knew each other forever, dessuite put to the easy Philippe accompanied us in our room (petrus). We filed our case then as everywhere, drink with the other attendees and meal, dodo and Lil rugby match' breakfast.
No, not as in other rooms of hosts. Hence it was that I don't know what that makes you think "I'll be stayed, too nice these people! "
