My husband and I were married at Domaine des Étangs and had the most beautiful wedding here!

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Relatively new, and therefore, it feels like a fresh and modern hotel, but with traditional French charm.

A truly memorable stay at the beautiful La Nauve. Well located to visit Cognac and the surrounding area. Incredible staff, who truly go the extra mile for their guests without being overbearing.

A great place to stay when vising Cognac. Very close to the Velo Flow. The hosts were very friendships and helpful and the accommodation was superb.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had abroad. The property is gorgeous, the breakfast pastries sourced locally were the best I’ve ever eaten, and the staff was incredible and kind.

Reception very friendly, room spotlessly clean. And very comfortable. Appreciated the locked parking. Excellent location. Breakfast was lovely, especially being able to sit in the garden.

Let's start with the positive. Great staff at the reception, super helpful for the check-in process and helping me setting the car to charge (complimentary charging was a big plus).

Liked: Recommend… very friendly, chilled site and good start to immerse the family in French culture.

Karin and Justin were among the most wonderful hosts we have ever encountered. They were attentive, went above and beyond, and nothing was too much trouble for them.

The O'Flynn's were delightful. Made us feel like family, with a wonderful breakfast with jellys made by Karin herself. We highly recommend this beautiful place right on a river Charente.

Off to a great start when 6 months before our stay, our hostess Minka was so helpful with booking local restaurants and a brilliant taxi company which were likely to be busy due to it being Circuit

Absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back. Minka went above and beyond for us and nothing was too much trouble, we truly felt looked after. Rooms are stunning, the chateau itself is magnificent.

Fantastic place. The decoration takes some getting used to, but the warmth and friendliness of the reception, the boss and her team are exemplary throughout. Thank you for y a wonderful stay!

I recommend this venue for quality time with friends or family with bio, delicious food and well being area to go. Also wild garden around hotel is worth to visit.

Lovely former cognac house in a perfect location for walking the city. Rooms are quite well appointed. Breakfast available. The gardens are perfect for a wine and cheese evening.

This hotel is right opposite the superb covered market and an easy walk to the various points of interest in the city. It is in the old town, up the hill so has lovely views.

Privilege room, very spacious with a comfortable bed. But, it took us ages to realise that you could "turn off" the glass panel looking from the room into the bathroom.

With a group of friends, we spent four days at Domaine du Pladuc. We appreciated the charm of the place with its magnificent bastide nestled in a bucolic park where a river flows.

A very warm welcome upon arrival made us feel immediately at home. Big spacious room with all facilities we expected. Generous gardens with a clean pool.

We spent two wonderful days at this incredible hotel.

A wonderful and relaxing short break. The location is beautiful, the cooking by Stevan is excellent, lovely rooms and pool area. Tried several cognacs at the neighbouring vineyards.

The restaurant is great. The staff is very welcoming and the food is really good. Cosy vibe inside and when the weather is nice, you can eat outside, with a gorgeous view over the Charente.

A wonderful bar and Asian inspired menu run by Gordon and Lilly (Thai and also the chef) Amazing hospitality with a wonderful warm welcoming atmosphere.

We had a fabulous time at Chez Jack! The room was so beautiful, the view from the terrace amazing, bed very comfortable and the breakfast great. The hosts were so nice and helpful.

This accommodation is attached to an ice cream shop which officially makes it the best place ever. Lovely owners and a gorgeous room with a stunning view. Best night’s sleep I've had in a long time.

We had a lovely stay at Château de Champblanc! I definitely recommend the dinner in the garden. The food and the service were great!

Stayed here as part of a cycling tour. The chateau is amazing. Our bikes were secure behind a tall gate, so that was one worry taken care of. Beers in the garden was another.
