I'm sorry, but if your Wi-Fi setup is so poor that my company phone's security flags it as an unacceptable risk and refuses to let me connect, the Wi-Fi needs to be secured better. I use public Wi-Fi with this phone (and a VPN) frequently without issues. The front desk knew that it happened and acted like it was no big deal. It *IS* a big deal and I had to pay to upgrade my data plan because I had no Wi-Fi all weekend. This problem alone would cause me to never stay here again. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel. A decent walking distance from the old port, shopping & restaurants. The A/C was very good and the room was clean. The breakfast was incredible, with scrambled eggs and bacon (which I miss as an American). If they fix the Wi-Fi, I would return, but not until then.

A good sized bedroom with English speaking staff about 100 metres from the railway station. A short walk to the old town and shopping centre. Breakfast was fine but some cheese and cold cuts would have improved it. Parking good in a secure gated car park.

The hotel was easy to find and the booking in was very pleasant, great staff and friendly. The location was brilliant and only a short walk from the Old Port and restaurants etc. Secure parking for the motorcycle. Would not hesitate to stay here if visiting La Rochelle again.

Would notice one more details which describes B&B customer attitude: when I came to a hotel, I was given a room with a broken airco and it was extremely hot (+27 outside with window to a south and right to a busy street). I've asked to give me another room with working air-conditioning and staff at reception did this within 10 minutes. I was really satisfied with such attitude and would say it seems to be typical for B&B chain. Also — recommendation from a staff on best recommended local restaurants were helpful and very precise. Only would wish to improve Wi-Fi quality (not too stable connection). Otherwise would recommend this location for La Rochelle.

Really cool rooms with beds upstairs in the family room. Nearby shops, restaurants and the staff are really helpful and speak English.

Best value for money we found for a departure to La Rochelle at the last minute. Staff very nice and helpful. A single room with all the necessary commmodites. Toilets nevertheless a little low to my taste and breakfast too expensive to have tested.

Nice reception (advice and plans), hotel very well located close to the old port and the historical centre, paying parking but very convenient, breakfast at will…
Attention, however, to the smell of cigarettes in the room… ventilation problem? (although I know it is forbidden to smoke)

Geographically perfect. Quiet and yet close to the train station. Exterior and interior new. Very clean staff welcoming and listening. Very comfortable bedding. Breakfast at small price but big croissant in a room quite spacious.
To recommend if you want to visit La Rochelle on foot to the departure of the hotel.

The room was clean and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast not bad. The only thing that would put a negative point is the Wi-Fi which was not working properly or even more at all.

Perfect for a short stay. A very simple hotel but also very economical. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. It was two-storey, duplex type, down marriage and up the girls.
Reception did not speak any Spanish, but there is nothing like your eldest daughter knows English, Jejeje.
In summary perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommended.

Conforms to the B&B standard. Comfortable bedding, clean and spacious room. Reasonable price. 1 minute from the train station and 5 minutes from the port on foot. Nice staff Dispenser D snacks at the reception, convenient for late arrival.

Very good location and very quiet. We are right next to the train station and a few steps from the city centre. The staff are very friendly and pro. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms nice and spacious enough. All the rooms are well maintained. In short, very good.

They didn't have hair dryers in the rooms, I arrived with my group of friends at 2 am: The guy who was attending was somewhat lost, he made us extra charges that we weren't supposed to pay. I was confused.

The note of 2 is related to the method of managing reservations. I made a date error and presented myself with a day late. I could not get a refund. The only argument was "the reservation center does not want to hear us".
For the rest, Standard Hotel. Attention to Noisy Boulevard and poorly soundproofed window.

This is the first time I have come to a B&B hotel (except maybe in my childhood) and I was very satisfied with it. Very good reception, perfect room, nothing missing.
Only small downside: the fresh air seemed to go through the window and get off under the curtain. So I made my daughter sleep my head rather at the feet and the trick was played.
Perfect breakfast was missing may be just a little ketchup for the eggs otherwise nothing to say!

Really nice hotel. Quiet, good sound insulation. Just lacks a little room in the toilet cabinets because we're stuck against a wall. Otherwise nothing to complain good value for money.

Location close to the old town, indoor parking.

Hotel with basic rooms but comfortable. On the other hand there is a foul smell in the bathroom. There are dirty places in the room. Otherwise the receptionists are welcoming.

Budget hotel within five minutes walk of the harbour, restaurants and aquarium.
Staff on reception very helpful and the rooms basic but very clean. BBC world service and Euro News in English in the room.
