Oh dear! I thought this large modern hotel would be great. Cramped room only one chair between 2 and hard to squeeze passed it. Smallish bed. No view. Was just coming back from a 2 week holiday and intended this last stop to be where I would wash and condition my hair and luxuriate in moisturiser while enjoying the tea and coffee advertised. Some hope! Toiletries consisted of one minute bar of soap tightly wrapped and 2 tiny paper mugs with a choice of no regular tea nor coffee. Flabbergasted.

Warm welcome. Hotel is in a really good position: close to the railway station and to the town center. It has no restaurant service (except breakfast) but receptionnist gave me a good advice on a nearby street. Rooms are not giant but functionnal. Window shutter instead of curtain: full darkness is possible (a really great idea). Room decoration is a bit outdated and old. Nice breakfast room and good choice to have a good start in the morning. Orange juice was of a great taste and far from the usual chemical+sugar composition.

On the move pro, room horribly disappointing on the 1st night report to an arrival in a very nice lobby with beautiful architecture and panoramic lift.
The room is "in its juice" style years 80. Pay €130 a night for a benefit well below the 4 * advertised I find that shameful.
Outdated bathroom, gasket dirty and poorly maintained, parts of the toilet bezel broken and not replaced, no toilet brush, fittings more than worn, door jamb breakage, bathtub and mirror with large black stains encrusted. Velcro taped curtains with staples for sewing. Despite the report at the reception, no change of room proposed the Kour meme and the only answer was that they were waiting for a renovation which was however not changed my night. No surrender or other proposed at my first visit.
Finally after remounting the photos and trainings on their site, another room m was proposed which she was at the height of a 4 *!
A council, when you are booking, ask for a renovated room because currently they are not all.

A small hotel but clean. Nice place to stay overnight if you are a tourist.

We paid €140 for a double room on weekends and expected 4 star standard.
Unfortunately, they were rather 2 stars and their money was not worth it. Equipment scuffed, shower room — which would have to be overhauled, plus only a fasten Duschgelflasche on the wall. On request we have received shampoo. The night porter left us about 10 minutes outside the door, different except to ringing, you didn't come into the house. If the room had cost 50-70 € this would have been fine, but €140 was not worth it and where the 4 stars come from is obscure to us.

Antique furniture in fairly small rooms, all mercury is not worth!
That said, very decent stay, very nice staff, spotless cleanliness.

Mixed opinion! The reception and the breakfast room are very good, on the other hand the rooms deserve a great renovation, it looks like in 1980! And I'm not talking about the air conditioning in the rooms!

Accustomed to Mercure hotels I was amazed at the lack of cleanliness and the mediocrity of my room and its bathroom.
As for breakfast it is outrageous: no pastries, no cup worthy of the name, in short few choices.
Unworthy of a mercury at 150 euros at night.
Even Ibis does better.

Charming hotel A few steps from the station quite quiet side street close to the historic center clean and spacious rooms breakfast buffet with lots of choice sweet and savoury staff friendly and welcoming responsive even in the middle of the night!

For a 4 star and the price of the rooms (€317) at Christmas. The benefits are very far away. The bathrooms would need a hell of a refresh and are not very clean! The rooms are more than sober and are not worth their 4 stars. For breakfast more salty than sweet and very simple also for 16 euros 50. Which is very expensive.

Good central location but here the positives end, dirty rooms, no hot water, a smell from the lobby to knockout a skunk. Let's just say I wasn't a fan.

Well placed when you are in charge of baggage!
The breakfast needs to be improved considering the price, the coffee is almost undrinkable (sorry, but Nespresso, BOF BOF), and deserves better pastries, it's sad to put mini industrial croissants for tourists, do their Discover real good things, especially since it is not the good bakeries that are lacking in Strasbourg!

Quaint little hotel. Breakfast is average but good. Staff was great and room was comfortable although small.

Beautiful station building. Interesting engineering solution.

Good when having luggage easy to reach to the hotel, just cross the street but the hotel allows pets and the elevator, the room and the hallway smells of filth.

Great location if travelling by train and have luggage. 10mins from town center.
