7 Fells Hostel Hostel

Really really awesome place! Clean and full of friendly people (we had a blast for New Year's Eve). If you're looking for a budget-friendly place in Lapland, this is the place to stay. I was so sad I had to leave… but promise to be back!

This hostel is absolutely amazing! By far the best one I’ve been to! I always end up coming back here! The hostel feels like home away from home and that makes it a perfect place to relax. The staff is really friendly and kindly help you ans share about the possibilities for activities in the area. The facilities are always clean, especially the room is always spotless! Rooms have been decorated with a good taste! One of my favorite winter hikes starts right from the backyard! Good value for money!

Great place to unwind and relax. The service was excellent and the host shared some local tips and activities that were helpful. Its was a walking distance to other amenities like the shopping malls although it still felt peaceful and secluded. The rooms were great, clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfect place to enjoy the beauty and serenity of Lapland! Shout out to Tinja for making this place a reality; she is truly an amazing host. This place is very popular so you are bound to run into new and interesting people!

Nice atmosphere, clean rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Skibus stops nearby. Disadvantages: Shower in the next building. Far from the store and the bus stop that goes to the airport. Located quite high above the lake, returning from any ski route-uphill.

Realy good place to stay, and very nice and helpful hosts. After a drive of 34 hour I did get stuck in the snow. They helpt me out and parked my car. All is very clean in the cabins. I realy want to go there as soon as I can again.

Definitely the best place to stay while travelling in Ylläs area! Amazing conditions, cozy atmosphere and the friendliest staff ever, will be coming back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at 7 Fells. Our chalet was very well decorated with all the necessary equipment.
In addition the price was really very decent, we could not dream better for our trip to Lapland a big thank you!

7 Fells is magical! I think this is the best place on the planet or maybe even the entire universe! I don't think Tinja even understands the full awesomeness of what she's created. Had a great time staying here. Best vacation I've ever had. Lots of snow fun and even was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the northern lights! Clean, warm place with comfy beds. Nice showers. Sauna. And really relaxing, homey atmosphere. Traveled here alone and made so many friends. Wish I could just stay forever! Thanks for a great week.

Thank you for the welcome, thank you for this little corner of paradise, thank you for guiding us and presented all these excursions and thank you for the sauna:). The description does not correspond to reality. Most upset that the arrival additionally charged 5 euros per person for bed linen. All in all, if you pre-tune that this is a hostel that has a shower in a separate building then the small details will not be frustrating. And so… Very strange design of the type "I made him blind from what was". Not convenient layout of the common kitchen, the location of sockets and so on… In general, of course I'm picking up the details. But how not to pick up after extra charge for bed linen!

Awesome hostel in the most beautiful part of Finland. We stayed in a log house with private sauna. It was even better than most regular houses! 7 Fells Hostel was the place where I felt most at home during a 4, 5 week long cartrip through Scandinavia and Germany. Also by far the best value for money in Scandinavia. I will definately go back there for more hiking, northern light and general coziness. :)

What an amazing experience at the 7 Fells Hostel! Tinja is a super host, hospitable, friendly, helpful… and the studio cabin we booked for, is the cherry on the cake in the amazing Lapland. 7 Fells Hostels is located in a hilltop in Akaslompolo, about 2-3 hours drive NW from Rovaniemi. The roads to get there are not the best, quite narrow and from Nov to March probably icy. The lake near the Hostel is something to experience, when we visited it was all frozen! great photos there. There are sky slopes 5 mins by car with a great view of the 7 Fells. The Hostel is a cozy place, decorated with anything and everything, common kitchen with fireplace. We have not visited the dormitory since we booked a studio. This is one of the 3 studios detached from the main Hostel. The Studio is super comfy, with all the necessity and very warm! We reached temperature of — 14 C and we did not feel a goosebump! I strongly recommend the Studio for those couple who wish some intimacy, and do not hesitate to ask Tinja and her team for info and recommendations. We were lucky to see the northern lights the last night, Solar radiation was 7 kp and clear sky. You do not need any special excursions, just get out of your studio and set your camera on a tripod for the photoshoot of a lifetime. Enjoy!

Beautiful and cheap place. Without a car is difficult to go there.

Beautiful place surrounded by nature just minutes from the center of Akaslompolo. We (4p) stayed here during a winter tour of Lapland (jan2017). The hostel was warm anc cozy, in the main room there was (there is) a big fireplace, a couple of sofà and some tables, nice place where make new friends. Our room was simple as other hostels, but the custom details makes the difference between this place and other hostels. The owner was been super-friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the first moment. There are lots of nice spots where wait and see the Northern Lights.

7fells hostel is a great place to stay. Its very comfy and high guality of everything, clean hostel with private rooms, cabins or dorm for budget travellers. Common space is comfy and enough space with fireplace and a special cat to feel like home. Kitchen is clean and very good equipped. Ecofriendly hostel and very friendly owners, this place is a find, highly recommended.

We (2p) stopped here during our motorcycle trip to Nordkapp end of July. It is an absolutely fantastic and cosy place. Very big cottage with private kitchen and bathroom. Local people are also very nice. If you need to dry (rain) your gear and a warm bed/shower before leaving the next day, stop here.

It's a beautiful, charming, lovely, peaceful amd friendly place to stay. I even was so lucky to see the Northern Lights just a few steps away.

This is a hidden gem! Booked through AirBnB. Journey would need a 2 hour bus ride from Rovaniemi or Kittilä Airport. This area is away from the tourist spots. Awesome hospitality services from the staffs and the environment around it is just so peaceful and quiet. Clean crisp air with snow covered trees. It is magical! Hostel facilities are adequate. I booked a room with a balcony so you can just lie back and daydream, watching the snow fell while snuggling warm in bed. It feels homely. We get to use the kitchen and cook our meals. Best of all, it is one of the best place where you get to see the Northern Lights! I would definitely come back again!
