Review of Grand Pacific Hotel 5*

Traveler be Aware stay away from Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva Fiji Islands this is a High Crime Area all the staff pretty much waits on tips and if you are of indian decent you will get a trashy treatment I have heard about this from other guests but got to experience it first hand on the day of Tropical Cyclone Winston a void GPH at all cost * For this being a 5 star resort I was very dissapointed from the the time I walked in I did not get a welcome feel the receptionist seen me and my family waiting there she made us wait 10min then said can I help you I said yeah I called about 20mins ago wanted to see you're premiere room I asked her if I can tour the room she said due to full house the room cannot be viewed which I thought was very weird I asked her if the room is available unless someone is occupying it why cant I have a look at it partly I think its because of my indian decent these people still using those stupid racists views of 10yrs ago and she was of the fijian decent this was truly a racist offence I was ready to pay the $477 fjd as it was only $200 u. S. But just from the customer service I was disgusted and wanted to walk away this all occured on the day of tropical cyclone winston at 4:30pm fijian time february 20th 2016 as I left I went to Tanoa plaza Suva hotel were I was welcomed with smiling faces and great customer Service and most all they showed us the room and everything I don't know how this hotel is not a 5star hotel even I have been to hotels and resorts in the west and they are all under 4 stars but they give better service than Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva Fiji Islands I would not recommend anyone from the u. S. To endure theyre journey at grand pacific hotel save your money theres many more better hotels oh yea grand pacific does not accept mastercard or American express stay away from this hotel at all cost. *heres a review I posted on trip advisor to all my u.
