Great short stay at this venue. Sadly we did request a bath plug to be fixed twice and it was never done, small issue with a toddler. All round great views and amenities. Loved the getaway.

My friend and I had 24 hours in Fiji and chose to spend our time at the Westin. We could not have been more pleased. They were able to accommodate a snorkeling trip for us, even set up a special dinner celebration for my friends birthday. We booked the suite with massages and it could not have been more perfect. I was very impressed with this hotel and would come back in a heartbeat. Staff went above and beyond. Amazing stay!

A very nice hotel with many facilities on site. We enjoyed the room and its bathroom, the staff, the pool and access to the other pools in the group, evening meals at the kitchen grill.
The resort should be refreshed in places. The maintenance of the room was irregular.
You can walk to the harbour in 15 minutes and the Big bula aquapark is right across the street. We travelled as a family and the hotel is suitable for children.

Oceanfront Room It was an enjoyable stay at Westin. Room was spacious and comfortable. View from the room was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was well-maintained with numerous beach chairs to chill and relax. Breakfast was sumptious and yummy. Overall I was left more than satisfied with the experience there.

Nice resort with good facilities and friendly service. The beachfront is nothing compared to the offshore islands of course. Good jumping point for exploring the rest of Fiji. Recommend to stay here for 1-2 nights before exploring Yasawa islands etc.

The facilities are a little run-down and in need of a makeover, but it's a beautiful setting and the staff are fantastic. The beach can be a bit of a walk, depending on where your room is. The rooms don't have a compendium, so there's no easy way to find out about the activities or facilities available. We stayed with our young family (1yo and 4yo) and had a great time.

Buffet breakfast was pretty good, the pool is nice, the lap pool is good to get away from kids and lie in the sun. The food was pretty expensive but about par for the course for Fiji resorts. We switched rooms after the first night as we wanted a ground floor room. The first room was getting old, the shower and bath were showing their age and the air con only had one setting — freezing. The new room was much nicer with new tiling in the bathroom. We got a rollaway bed for our kid and didn't check the price. They charged us FJD$62 A NIGHT for the bed. Wow.

Great public toilets behind reception. Champagne breakfast with the buffet which is superb. Limited facilities when it rains. Quality but a small selection of lunch options by the pool. Fantastic Wi-Fi by the pool.

First time been fiji. We didn't do much research. Agent booked hotel for us. Feeling luck to stay here 5night. Very Nice room. Good service. Breakfast is fantastic. One tips. Make the book ing as early as you can. Will save your lots of money. We did one month before we travel. All Most cost us double the price if we book 6months early.

Horrible don't go. Really disappointed with the service.

Was told this was the first hotel on Port Denarau (stand to be corrected). I like the theme of this place. It's exotic and beautiful. Luxury Fijian style. Have some photos of the fitness centre since some may not find it on Google. They have a great place to workout. See photos.

We stayed at the Sheraton next door and had a look here. Very nice place. A few shops on site. From what we have seen its truly a wonderfully beautiful hotel. You can see bits of Fiji culture here. You won't be looking at the pacific bluest of waters from the site. Yet you can walk or bus to the marina. Sail around the bluest clearest waters. The south seas cruises there will blow you away. The resort is tropical. Just lovely. I fell in love with the architecture on arrival. Just go you won't be dissapointed.

This is a nice hotel. The staff and service were excellent, always making you feel taken care of. The pool is nice but is filled with tons of screaming children. There is an adult only lap pool which doesn't have lounge chairs. The rooms were large and spacious. The ocean front view rooms are nice and overlook the water. However, the bathroom could be updated. The main issue is the shower, while clean, by design it seemed as if it was always flooded as the shower curtain was too short. There is a drain in the floor that get clogged once you place your bath mat down. Also — — the beach at Denarau is reclaimed mud grove. (If you stay here, hire a taxi go go to Natadola Beach) Not the white sand crystal blue waters in your minds eye. However, we were also able to use the facilities at neighboring Sheraton which had an outdoor pool adults only which was the saving grace. Also, beware that sometimes people charge things to your room fraudulently (we had ice creams charged to our room that we had to have removed. Upon check-in I noticed someone checking out also having this issue. )

The Westin Resort is a beautiful resort with well-maintained facilities. The beach the resort is located on isn’t the best however there is a free boat which operates to an uninhabited island just off the coast where you can go swimming. All in all I would not stay in Denarau Island if you wanted a beach swimming vacation however there are heaps of day tours from Denarau to the outer island so if you are happy to swim in the pool for the majority of the time. The day spa at the resort was nice however I do feel the cost was high for the services they offered. The hotel room facilities also need a bit of love, our bathroom was not what I would come to expect from a 5-star resort. We felt our hotel room was dark however it was on the group floor therefore I would recommend a higher room level. The staff were so friendly and always had the biggest smiles on their faces. Denarau Island however is not the real Fiji. The man-made island is very commercial so I wouldn’t recommend Denarau for those wanting an authentic Fijian escape.

Lovely hotel great staff! very friendly Heavenly spa is by far the best massages we have ever had! clean pools — adult pool area should have staff available all day good gym good breakfast (however the same every day) clean room highly recommend.

The resort is very nice and the staff very friendly. But being in a secluded area is take advantage with the prices. If you expect to see idyllic beaches or coral is not the place, for this you have to hire an expensive pack in the boat for the day or half day (depart from the port, 15 min walk), or choose the coral coast within Viti Levu.

A great hotel that is usually busy at breakfast so show up early before the rush. A-la-carte menu items are more that adequate but pricey and for a large family it can become very expensive especially when you include drinks. Great views of the setting sun so be sure to have a camera handy. The pool is nice but needs heating during the cooler months. The queen bed was not very comfortable and sagged in the middle. The rooms were nice though. The staff are warm and friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate your requests. A nice touch is when they sing the traditional Fijian farewell song at breakfast for guests who are leaving. Lots of great memories.

Check-in and you're whiskered to your room, a cup of tea and a hot shower. But here you have to trot around (Could as well have the room at the other side of town) with your luggage and bags. When you finally reach your room there is no elevators so you have to carry your heavy bags up the stairs. Checking out, I was drenched in sweat after having pulled all my stuff from my room in the tropical heat. I was not in a good mood reaching the reception I had to use my phone for Wi-Fi as the hotel Wi-Fi was so slow it didn't work. Westin! This was a disappointment and if I come back to Fiji I will not sleep in any of your beds 2017 and the anti slid tiles have been around for ages. Coming out from the shower and it is like walking on ice Power sockets, I have been living in tent in India and Africa and they have sockets fitting all the plugs you can imagine. Here, it is only the Fiji sockets in the room. It is 2017 But the staff is Super friendly and the room is of course OK, 5 star hotel.

Had an absolutely wonderful 2 weeks. Staff have been incredibly friendly. I would definitely stay here again. On our way to checking out we decided to take our cases ourselves and by chance came across a member of staff that offered to take my wife's case. It turned out he was the hotel manager. A leader by example. Thank you Westin.

Save yourself from wasting your money and holiday here. This is unfortunately a very poorly run Westin, not up to the brands standards. The service was unapologetically bad if even existent. Things move slow on the island — the staff here used "fiji time" as an excuse for their poor service. The restaurants in the Westin had truly tasteless, overpriced food. The only lovely thing was the pool — but sadly this experience was also bad because they don't have enough chairs, they are stingy with towels which they make you check out and in, and the water was kept too cold. Stay elsewhere at all cost — preferably off the mainland.

Fabulous holiday at the Westin. I would not stay anywhere else. Only one thing, when my daughter and I booked a suite our travel, agent did not tell us that a suite only has one king bed, so had to sleep togeather. Otherwise it was great.

Fine but average accommodation. Recommend minimising stay on main island in favour of staying on one of the smaller islands.

Hotel rooms are a bit on the older side but overall the hotel is nice and offers a variety of food options with the Sheraton properties next door. Big downside is the beach … only Access through Sheraton and pretty disappointing. You are better off to visit the islands.

Elegant Resort. The Bungalows are very spacious & are widely distributed in the Resort. Central to the main house for Breakfast and Dinner! Staff nice!

Went to the Fiji Story evening show last week on the Wednesday evening. Sorry to say but the guy who was the story teller seemed to me to speak unclearly was difficult to follow. The show moved too slow for my liking taking ages to complete. The regular fire show at the Sheraton each night was better than what was offered as a separately charged show at the Westin. Disappointed to say the least.

Nice clean rooms but paper thin walls letting you hear everything going on next door. Also wad stated to be smoke free yet many people where allowed to smoke on their balconies. Staff is very friendly and helpful but often there didn't seem to be enough of them to cope with demand.

Great place. Was here for a work conference. Luxury. Everyone enjoyed themselves, short walk to the other resorts and the staff wetter very friendly. Want to come back. But with the family.

Functional hotel with pool and clean rooms. Expensive Ocean Front room with people walking by to view in your room, not worth the money. Bathroom was dated, leaky tap and poor sound proofing in the walls. Baby screams and loud walking upstairs and next door. Not coming back.

Great place to stay. Great accommodations. Lovely pool area, so many little pool corners to feel like you have a spot of your own. Staff were fantastic and very friendly!

We had a slight issue when we arrived in our room and brought it up with the front desk. Emi the manager personally attended to us and ensured our issue was resolved plus made up for it ten fold. Best hotel stay I have experienced.

Only got to visit the resort for a day to view the fire walking display, which was highly recommended. Had a short stroll around the resort which looked really nice. Would definitely love to go back and spend some time staying here in the future.

Food was good although pretty expensive. At the less expensive option the food was terrible would never eat there again. Service and friendlyness of personell was mediocre. (some people were really nice others werent, also people seem to be pretty tired of doing the so called entertainment/extreme frienlyness routine with makes it appear a bit strange) and finally the room. One time the pillows really smelled and another time the room was littered with bugs some of them crawling though my pillows. With this experience I would try my luck somewere else next time.

Beautiful resort, upmarket, the building is typically Fiji, a great place to stay.
