My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Hilton which began with an upgrade to a very well appointed self contained two bedroom unit. The only downside was the distance from the main reception area and some facilities which require a reasonable walk or taking advantage of the transport options that ran the length of the accommodation on a regular basis. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and Beverage excellent.

Beautiful 5 star resort on Denarau Island. It has a long sandy beach with lots of open areas. Pools lack shade compared to the other resorts on the island. What separates this resort are the self contained units with BBQ facilities and some have plunge pools. Ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together. Handily located between the Sofitel Hotel Denarau and Port Denarau.

Awesome staff over the different departments and different restaurants. Jay and Niko made our day today, wonderful service by the pool. Bus drivers and concierge are great! Great meals as well. Very well impressed. We drove around the island and stayed in 4 different resorts and this is far the best. We will recommend. The apartments are wonderful! We’ll be back! Thank you!

We received a great room with a kitchen, a wonderful bathroom lounge and even a washer and dryer. We ate at the hotel restaurant and it was even better than the recommendations we received. The food was served aesthetically and was very tasty. There is no doubt that when we return to Fiji we will make every effort to be in this hotel again.

Check in greeting needs to be more enthusiastic. Stayed in a one bedroom beachfront suite with a plunge pool. Spacious room with a Queen sized bed. Food and drinks are reasonable. Top shelf is expensive like you would normally expect at any other hotel.

This is a ZERO STAR RATING! My wife and I attempted to stay here for one night while we were on our family holiday. This night was to be our ''honeymoon night'' away from our kids (1st time kid free night for nearly 2 years) while we got them looked after. We booked the 2 Bedroom Penthouse, upon entering we could instantly tell it was not very clean. The whole penthouse was very grubby in general, urine stains on toilet seats, soap & toothpaste scum on tiles in bathrooms, floors not mopped or swept, mould on ensuite mirror, mould on all the outside furniture, our plunge pool was black and full of leaves. We immediately called reception, they sent a cleaner up to inspect. We were offered to move rooms which we obviously accept and they told us to wait 10 minutes and someone come collect us to take us to another room. 2.5 hours later we walked all the way back to reception and asked for a refund so we could try and find another place to stay. Reception had no care in the world, did not even bother to speak in English, just processed the refund and happily watched us walk away without any offer of a taxi or bus ride anywhere. Disgusting service, would never consider staying in a Hilton again!

ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there! we stayed there for 3 nights for the beginning of our honeymoon. As we arrived I clearly had told them that we would like to stay the 3 nights in the same room (as I made 2 seperate bookings by mistake), even though we mentioned we are on our honeymoon they gave us a room in the busiest part where the pool was and kids were constantly running around. On the last day we went for our breakfast and then our morning swim, came back at 11am and we couldn’t get in the room, our card was deactivated, my husband went to check with them and they wouldn’t fix the card saying we need to move to another room as this room is now taken I was in my bikini sitting there for 3 hours being locked out of my own room, and the funny thing is they weren’t even telling us the truth, and after my husband just lost it and got angry they gave us a new key, went in the room and they kept on disturbing us with calling and coming to our room saying the owner of the villa is coming and we need to move, by 5pm I was so angry I told them not to call again, at the end I received a call from the manager saying that they’ve made a mistake double booking it… how is that my issue, you made a mistake, either give the other person an upgraded room or refund me a day. They made so much trouble for us for a day, they really should’ve refunded us a day for the inconvenience they’ve caused, and we didn’t even get an apology.

Such a huge name connected I would have expected more from this hotel. When we first arrived we were left stranded in the open lobby as our room had not been cleaned yet (even though we confirmed previously our booking and we arrived after the 2pm check in time). We ended up waiting for our room for just over an hour. In the mean time it was suggested we book our new years eve plans with a staff member. We bought a ticket to an event for 2 for the evening which included food, drink and live performance… this package costs us a few hundred dollars. After we had arranged this we returned to the waiting game for our room. Once finally settled in we went to the venue for the Nye party. When we got there we were told that the event was full and we should not have been sold tickets, due to this the venue had to find and setup an extra table which was put out the back of the venue. Also due to this it meant that the food and drink had to cover the extra people (us) which just showed how unorganised this hotel was. For the rest of our stay we had to deal with various things in the room not working as well as the reception staff who weren't a great help. When we checked out of our stay we noticed another family playing the waiting game upon check in (which from overhearing, they weren't taking it to well) … I would not recommend this place to anyone. There is far better hotels in Fiji!

Hi All and future tourists to Fiji, Please DO NOT book or STAY at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa, Denarau. Watch this space… as I don't have enough colours to paint a picture of our horrible experience! This is a 1.0 star hotel. I will be adding to this on Tuesday once I am back at work… and it will not be nice… Cheers VN.

Rooms are good and the facilities are fine. It's just that the room is low and not as good as other hotels.

Go to the islands! The Hotel is nice, the rooms are actually very nice and have a great design, the restaurant were comparatively plain, and nothing special. The Asian restaurant was good and the interior pleasant, but not four or five star. The beach is a mud beach. The adult Restaurant and Pool area looked nice but also nothing special. It’s not Fiji.

The Hilton looked a bit tired from first view, the bar and restaurant a bit old fashioned now. Great views at sunset from the bar deck. Live music was a big plus, they were very good. Food average. Nice staff.

Great hotel with large apartment-style rooms. We had a perfect one bedroom equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer. The service is great too and the location is close to port Denarau with easy access to tours. We really enjoyed our time here!

Great location next to water. However beach is ordinary. Reclaimed? Grey gritty sand. Wonderful outlook to islands. Gorgeous staff, but excruciatingly expensive food and beverage.

Absolutely fabulous! Don't know where to start. The service was superb and the food was delicious. This resort has has 5 plus pools. Plan on being back next year. Thank you.

Stayed here for a week. Great hotel and friendly staff. The places to eat on site are very good. We have a two bedroom apartment. It was clean and heaps of space. It needed some maintenance. If you have kids ask for a room closer to the pool otherwise you will be up for a long walk. They do have a golf cart that takes you around. Kids club was good but the kids did not like the movies at night and you need to supply your own food.

Wonderful resort in a very convenient part of town. We stayed here for the last few days of our trip to Fiji to be closer to the airport. We had such a wonderful room with a semi-private pool, lounge area and hammock. The room had a full kitchen, a large and very luxurious bathroom and a comfortable bed. We didn't end up leaving our room once. Everything you needed in a self-contained unit. It even included a washer and dryer. The only downside was the beach. It was quite mucky and not swimmable.

Lives up to the 5 star reputation. Excellent adults only area if you want to avoid the kids. Food selection was fantastic with brilliant breakfasts. Bula bus around Denarau is a must.

This place is more of Hilton "franchise". By that I am saying I didn't get the same level of excellence I expect from other Hilton. Rooms are good. Beach Front and pools are good. People are super nice. I've given 3 for that. In other hand, food there is absolutely garbage, over inflate price of everything and everything is running on "fiji time". We have literally waited 2 and half hours for room service.

My husband and I had an overall amazing experience. Staff friendly. We loved the layout of the place. We would highly recommend the 1bedroom self contained apartment with the lap pool that only 4 rooms share. 90% of the time we had the pool to ourselves. It's also great to have your own BBQ as this cuts the cost of dining out as this can be expensive. We dined out every night in a different restaurant and found food quality and service excellent. As we had been to Fiji before we knew to bring as much of our own alcohol as possible. This also cuts down the costs. Would definitely return.

It was almost laughable when I get a recycled amenity, which I could figure out by weight difference. On top of all of above, staffs knocking our door every 20 minutes to see if they can start cleaning on the day of check-out which was lovely.

Makes much more sense to go to a local hotel — service here is horrible. Unfriendly people, voucher for bufete we could not use as it was too full and we where Ask 3 times to wait for 30 min. The people who provide the jetski and sailing service seem to be there for their own fun.

This part of Fiji and the resort itself is beautiful, however is extremely expensive and there are just too many kids in this resort for the amount of money we paid to 'Relax'. We weren't told about the adults only section until our last day which was pretty disappointing. Our room was just outside of reception (room 212) and was very noisy at all hours of the day and night. My partner and I were woken up several times throughout our stay by noisy check outs or the resort staff talking loudly outside our room. The rooms are also pretty dated and should be updated based off the rate charged per night. We asked to move rooms twice and were declined, so for that reason we won't be staying here again. Make sure you shop around before you book this resort as we found out during our stay that you can get a lot more for your money.

Beautiful property and rooms. Highly recommend the Hilton as it really is a piece of paradise! Great food — the pizza at the cafe was some of the best I have had. On a more negative note, Through no fault of Hilton, we fell victim to a cancelled day tour (it was cancelled on us twice which seems fishy but that's another story). While the tour company rebooked another trip, with so few days to explore the islands, the time spent dealing with this could have been better spent. I also felt Hilton fell short in "making it right" as per their corporate mandate. After some discussion, we are thankful for the fruit/wine but felt a restaurant or spa credit would have been more fitting — but at the Fiji Hilton those are not offered… this too we felt odd based on our prior Hilton experiences. While I recognize it was not Hilton's issue to "make right" but as the bigger company, they could have taken the opportunity to leave a more lasting positive impression on us (frequent travellers).

Warning do not stay here, not safe! Ongoing theft by staff. We checked in Jun 16, 2017 for a check out Jun 18, 2017. June 17 the hotel staff made a mistake and thought we were checking out. When we got back to our room at 1:36pm the hotel staff (without our permission and while we were not in the room) removed all of our belongings from the hotel room and placed them in the lobby. It was during this time that all my cash was stolen. As soon as I discovered my cash was stolen I called the security and also filed a police report. I was made privy to the fact that this had happened the day before to another hotel patron. To further the issue, the front desk and management did not offer any apologies or help and did not provide me a copy of the statement I had made concerning the theft.

Money in SAFE were STOLEN! Our $4, 000 Hong Kong dollar was stolen while we locked it in the safe of our room. We spent two nights at Hilton. Upon the arrival of our room, we put all of our HKD cash (over $8, 000) and a laptop in the safe. We didn't even touch the safe until the second night at 10.30 pm for packing up (we had to check out at 5.30 am the next day to catch our flight). We found the safe open and the HKD cash envelope was moved from where we put it. We check the amount, then realized that part of the money was taken. We called the hotel security immediately. A security guy told me that all the staff on day shift had gone home, which meant the investigation would have to be conducted the next day when me and my husband were already out of Fiji. He asked for my email address to let me know any updates. However, it's been a week. I heard NOTHING from anyone of this hotel! BTW, when we checked out, we met the security guy again. He told us he checked our room entry record — ONLY hotel cleaners had entered our room during our stay. That hotel cleaner must have known the master code (reset code) of safe, which is usually only known by manager. My questions are: why a cleaner had known the master code and was able to open it, who else may have known, and whether the hotel manager involved in the theft. I would suggest you reconsider your choice to spend your lovely holiday at this hotel. It may become a disaster!

Relaxed deck setting with the option to sit inside or outside. The view was beautiful. We walked along the beach from Sofitel to find this restaurant which was better than the one at the Sofitel. It has a wider range of lunch options and also includes a build your salad option. The food was delicious!

I called the Hilton Fiji concierge a few days before our arrival to organize a pick up at the airport. We went through the hotel instead of just grabbing a taxi because we needed a car seat for our 1 year old. We arrived at 230pm and found our driver. Unfortunately, he had no idea we requested a car seat. He called the hotel and they forgot to mention it to him. We sat at the airport for over an hour while waiting for the taxi driver to go back and get a car seat and then return to the airport. Our day continues to go downhill. When we booked our room originally we requested a baby cot, and then after checking in and arriving to our room we did not have a baby cot. We called several times from check in through dinner and after dinner trying to get a baby cot. It took two hours after our little one's bedtime and me and him walking to the front desk asking what is going on to finally get the cot in our room. So needless to say our first day at the resort and Fiji have been well below expectation, especially for the price we paid. We are checking out tomorrow and going to a different resort.

Great service. First class facilities. Excellent swimming pool options including an adults only/kid free option. Peaceful and tranquil surroundings right on the beachfront.

Excellent Hospitality and Very friendly staff Perfect location for a relaxing holiday destination near the beach, near the Nadi airport and town and restraunts and bars near the large pools in the hotel Very hygienic hotel and beautiful presented room Everything about Hilton is beautiful and friendly.

When we arrived our rooms were not ready, so they put us in another room. The room they put us in had no air-conditioning. The terrace/bbq area could not be used at night as the lights were burnt out and couldn't use the arm chairs during the day as the umbrellas were all damaged. When we called maintenance they said they will fix it. Two hours later nobody came and upon phoning the operations manager we were told it would be taken care off the next day. Overall very disappointed with the service considering we paid in excess of $500 per night.

Waited for 2hours to check in. Got in to the room almost 5pm. The restaurant is not worth it. Waited for an hour for bad quality foods. Bad qualities. Disappointed.

Beautiful hotel staff and a beautiful location to stay, expensive but definitely worth the price.

The Hilton beach resort was a stunning escape from the sweltering heat of latouka. Travelling to the resort after a long cruise was a priceless escape into paradise. Also, the Wi-Fi was very fast…

I was here a few years ago, and it was great — the rooms, the restaurants, the location and the land it was on. The staff were all great, especially Simile, who joined in on a table tennis game, claiming to be the world champion… wasn't quite though… And there were like 7 pools or something, plus a section of private beach.

When people mentioned "Fiji time" I didn't know exactly what it meant until my first trip I waited over 45 minutes for a cocktail and so now I know!. Despite the extremely slow service my entire trip I absolutely loved the nature of the people and the atmosphere. The food in the hotel was average but still good.

Nice enough resort but very busy, food isn't fantastic and service isn't great. There are nicer places to stay in Denaru.

Worst hotel experience ever! garden cleaning starts at 9;15. Are you expecting all your customers to get up before then? its super noisy. This is a resort not a city trip. We are here to relax. Please keep this in mind! the landline in the room are always busy, no matter to which service. Reception or in room service. All busy. Never get connected. Why do you even install it? will never come back and choose hilton again.

The check in process was the start to a bad stay. We waited an hour and a half after the "guaranteed" check in time of 3pm and was unable to be given an exact time our room would be ready. The following morning breakfast took 35 minutes to be served with no apologies for the delay or why it took so long, there was only 8 other tables so it wasn't like the place was full. Overall it wasn't a pleasant stay unfortunately.

We just arrived back yesterday from 7 days here and just loved it! Amazing Resort and fantastic staff! 10 out of 10!

Spent 8 days at this resort with my family. The staff the hotel is fantastic. They separated the kids from the adults as they had 2 pools and the activities staff kept my daughters entertained for most of the day it was great! Will definitely be going back when I have the chance too.

A very quiet and peaceful location. Communicating with the housekeeping staff was a bit challenging. Regardless, I nice place to stay if you're looking for a quiet spot in Nadi with separate breakfast and pool areas for adults only.

Great hotel and staff! Our honeymoon here will always have great memories! Can't wait to return one day!
