Definitely HEAVENS PLACE on earth. A highly recommended Venue to spend your vacation. Your honeymoon or even for that special moment. We checked in with staff so friendly greeting us. Receptionist were amazing but a Special shoutout to the FOOD & Beverage staff. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Very friendly, excellent rapport provided and most of all they made us feel like family. Well done to the management staff for breeding such amazing group of hospitality staff within the Savusavu Tourism industry. If you ever decide to get to KoroSun resort … do give a shout out to KITIONE at the Bar🍺. Super amazing human to know👏🏼🌟🌟 We will definitely be back 👍🏼 Giving the services 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very beautiful place with very friendly staffs 💞

Great resort, with amazing friendly, helpful, happy staff, who always made you feel welcome, from the front desk, to the bars, to the activity staff and dive shop to all the cleaners and yard workers. Located in some of the most beautiful island terrain. And amazing reefs on its door step.

Honest review… This place is beautifully constructed but very poorly maintained. No of staff is minimal and services are like you have to wait forever for transport buggy, any request or help. They have no phones in rooms, food goes on pre order which means u cant sit in restaurant and order. The attitude of staff is very rude and indifferent towards everything Overall I feel I have heavily overpaid them for the service and experience received. I would rather recommend people to stay at small beachside resorts like Sigasiga sands rather than wasting your money here.

Koro Sun Resort was a perfect location to relax and enjoy everything that is incredible about staying in Fiji, especially at Savusavu, Vanua Levu. The staff were super friendly, the food was fabulous and the Edgewater Bure was just perfect, clean, everything we needed, most comfortable bed and pillows and a view to die for! Right at our doorstep we had a reef to enjoy, it was quiet (no children in our section) and there were plenty of activities to enjoy.

There is something for everyone on offer, great facilities and services and friendly staff. The dive and snorkel spots are amazing and the food choices are many with their daily changing menu at Palm Grove Restaurant to meat lovers, vegans and vegetarians. Sand bar tapas are delicious too and mouth-watering seafood at L17 is the cherry on top. Perfect place for the curious traveler… families, couples, youth, small groups, divers, adventurers etc. So much to do but so little time to do it all. I will keep coming back and bring my family and friends too in future.

Do not book this resort during the Covid situation. The resort will steal your money and ghost you. They will not answer any calls or email from the Chase travel agency. (the airline moved our flight by 30 days! ) Melaia Haynes from the resort would email me back but refused to work on my reservation. I have lost over $2, 000 with this reservation and now have to completely change our wedding plans again and have lost most of the money to do so. 🤬 The airline was easy to work with.

Extremely tremendously amazing with beautiful smiles staffs so friendly. Excellent room services with wonderful spa that u cannot hesitate to experience about. No rush with extremely time u can have the whole day enjoying urself with friends with it's unique services.

This is the most authentic luxury resort. The design and landscape are breathtaking. Definitely stay in the Edgewater Boures. I find it hard to leave my room. The snorkeling is amazing. If you are lucky to meet the owners you’ll see why this place is so great! The staff come from all over and represent different villages. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me!

If you're planning a holiday in Fiji, have a serious look at the Koro Sun. I can't recommend this resort more highly. It is set in an unbelievably beautiful spot, that's just off the beaten track to make it a bit quieter and friendlier but very well resourced and luxurious. All of the staff are wonderfully welcoming, generous and accommodating, with the kids club a standout for our family. Delicious food is constantly on offer and a huge range of complimentary and additional activities available. We loved our week at the Koro Sun and would love to visit again in the future.

Definitely recommend Koro Sun Resort! The staff are extremely helpful, warm and friendly, the managers make you feel like family! Our Bure on the Water was marvelous! We were able to meet some spectacular people, eat some spectacular food! What could be better! My husband and I had an excellent time for our 10 year anniversary! We can’t wait to go back Again!

I really wished I could give this place five stars, but I couldn’t. One mistake is understandable, two issues is tolerable, but when you have more, it is too much especially for a resort that brands itself as a paradise getaway. We experienced hot water kettles that had a foul smell when we entered, a bathtub that wouldn’t plug, bathrobe missing a belt, and broken outlet. We got a complimentary dinner for the issues, but it wasn’t particularly great. The resort has great potential, and it doesn’t need to make any drastic changes to become outstanding, so I hope it improves in the future. It was a great place, one of the few overwater bure options in Fiji, and the staff were very friendly, so I do hope things get better.

A very special sense of welcome, the resort being heavily reserved by a group, we found ourselves "ejected" from the restaurant bar while we did not manage in any way the proper functioning of the priority attention to give to this group …
For a resort that is so-called luxury 4 stars, this is inaxeptable and worthy of a small hotel without a quality brand towards these guests.

The wai bar is great for a relaxing lunch even if you aren't staying there. Mili the barmaid is friendly and helpful, and baravi is an excellent chef! The lady at the main restaurant needs a lesson in being nice to non-white folks, but otherwise a great experience :)

An amazing place to vacation. The staff were friendly and incredibly accomadating. The food was good and the swim up bar just cannot be beat. There isn't much to do on the island but Koro Sun arranges activities everyday to keep you busy. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I were only there for three short days, but by the end of our stay, we knew the names of many of the people who had helped us. Koro Sun is in a quiet, secluded area — no phones and shoddy Wi-Fi, just you and nature. That being said, the staff went over and beyond to ensure our comfort, to the point of tracking us down who knows where in the resort (remember, no phones) to return some queries we'd had the previous day. The staff are the epitome of hospitality!

We have visited Koro Sun almost every year since 2006. This is a beautiful resort with exceptional accommodations and services. Each villa is a stand-alone and some even have private pools. All have gorgeous views of either the manicured grounds or the Koro Sea. The cuisine is prepared by local chefs and includes many Fijian specialties. Frequent ethnic entertainment is provided by local villagers. This is unquestionably the best resort on the island of Vanua Levu. One of the things Koro Sun is noted for is the Rain Forest Spa where guests are treated to a full-body massage in the midst of the forest next to waterfalls. Many activities are available in the surrounding area and children are welcome always. The best feature about Koro Sun is the staff. They are courteous, caring and provide outstanding customer service.

Koro Sun: amazing! People, Staff, Location, Rainforest and Reef. Spent 10 nights here and could have easily spent more time. Stayed initially in a pool Bure with our 2 kids 7 and 4. Beautiful location in the garden. Nice room, spacious living area and rooms but small bathroom. The walk to reception each day was picturesque with an array of mongoose, frogs, geckos, cows, and beautiful gardens. We got upgraded as a result of a roof leak to the 3 bed stream side villa. What a place to stay awesome! Also given a complimentary waterfront candlelight dinner with babysitting for our inconvenience. Great service and not expected at all. Thanks again. My son says the best thing about Korosun is the people. We will never go back to coral coast again as this was our 5th trip to Fiji and Savusavu was by far the best. All the staff too many to mention were excellent and lovely people. We were very sad leaving. My kids have memorised the farewell song. The rainforest spa — just walking up there was the best place I have been on land and my wife loved it. The diving — excellent saw hammerhead and sharks on every dive. Namena was outstanding and in my 35 years of diving the chimneys rated as my best dive, with dream house local dive up there as well. Namena divers were a great bunch of guys shout out to Danny, Robert, and Leo for looking after us and Celo for spotting my first hammerhead! Last but not least special mention to two beautiful people at kids club — Una and Melee!

If you come across any negative reviews of Koro Sun I would advise to take them with a grain of salt. This resort, or really any place you travel to outside of your home country is all about setting your expectations. With Koro Sun, you should set your expectations as such: — Expect a much more authentic Fijian experience than your big name hotels — Expect peace and quiet, and to just take in the natural beauty of this place — Expect the food to be a little less fresh and possibly a smaller selection than normal (you're on an island off another island after all! ) — Expect everything to take a little longer, because what's the rush anyway? Fiji time is a real thing! — Expect there to be bugs, frogs, fish and other wildlife co-habiting the surrounds with you — Expect the Wi-Fi to be unreliable and slow, but still appreciate that it's there at all — Expect a Bula! Every time you walk past a staff member — Expect the staff to know your name after a day or two — Expect to feel part of the family, as the people here are some of the kindest and most generous you will ever meet Koro Sun is such an experience and one we will never forget. Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

This is a quaint budget-resort and it feels like it. They have a few newer bures which are nice but as a whole this shouldn't be classified as a 4-star resort. The people were very friendly, our activity guide, Dobes, was just the best and they had really good massages. The actual hotel itself if a little run down, outdated. We had a bure that was right on the water but you notice in the photos that low tide means the water moves out like 30 meters twice a day and there isn't really any normal sandy beach to relax on. We also found it difficult to get even slightly tipsy as there was only one bartender making service quite slow and they didn't start serving drinks until around dinner.

OMG! Not enough words can express the amazing holiday my husband and I just had. As first time travellers I'm afraid now that no other holiday is going to live up to this one. The snorkelling was definitely my most favourite experience. You can just swim out 1m and see the most beautiful fish.
Your staff are beautiful! We even got upgraded to a floating bure because we were celebrating our 20th anniversary. I'm not even sure how you found that out! But I have to say the garden bure we were in was in just as an amazing setting as the floating ones. We actually missed seeing our little mongoose every morning.
So many activities to do. Nicky and Timtam were fantastic at showing us all the Fiji had to offer. We were even able to go off and do our own thing with a little guidance from these guys.
The food was perfect! David even said he had the best steak he has ever had. And Meli's Flying Fijian cocktail is a must! Fanny and Nai were so beautiful and accommodating.
Brett, I hope you look after these people because it was truely a life changing experience from our busy and hectic life here in Australia. I wish you all the best in your new position and I'm so jealous!

Our experience is one we will never forget. We are now lucky enough to call the people who work their our friends. Mary rose, Mavis, Brett and never forget junior. And all the others I can't name. Their smile lit up Koro. We had perfect days. Snorkelling. The private beach picnic is a must. And the day finishing with drinks in the wai bar. A beautiful infinity pool bar that over looks the most incredible sunsets. While junior is mixing you a tinks tropicana.

Loved the rooms and is a nice place to get away.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is super nice and always helpful. I don't personally have kids but we stayed with several groups of friends who all had kids and the staff was so great with them. The kids were begging to go to the kids zone and hang out with the staff. Its a beautiful resort and the staff is incredible.

This Fajian resort was a wonderful location to spend our honeymoon at. Very friendly and accommodating staff enhanced our trip greatly. Their Edge water villas were awesome (just realise your in the tropics so expect to run into wasps/ bugs and gekos). We hope to return, and highly recommend this slice of paradise.

First I will list the positives: The staff are very helpful and beautiful in nature and incredibly friendly (as the Fijians are). There is a list of activities on a board to do every day. I took the waterfall tour and we visited a local village which was worth the trip. If you wanted book and were passing by and wanted to experience Fijian hospitality, maybe pop in. My bure was incredibly spacious and I loved laying in the hammock every day. It was absolutely delightful to watch the sun rise and set. I could see a fish or two swimming below. I was lovely to go to the main swimming pool for an early morning swim and look at the ocean, whilst I was leaning and wading in the pool. You can order lunch from this pool until until about — I think? 3pm or so. My room was spotless and air conditioned with a fan and cleaned thoroughly everyday. You can help yourself to the snorkel gear and flippers from the activity hut. The grounds are lush and very pretty to walk around. The negatives: This should not be on the Luxury Escapes List. (Edgewater Bures are 4.5 but the remainder of the resort is more like 3.5 star) From my Edgewater Bbure I could not get into the water at high tide. I had to sit down on the concrete slab and sort of scramble over rocks. As did 3 others who had Edgewater Bures. The free breakfast was quite average. A Fijian bread is cooked everyday – whilst it was ok to try it once or twice you could not eat it every day as it was so doughy.

Our stay was very dissapointing. The garden bure was very basic, with no TV or Wi-Fi. We would not have minded about TV or Wi-Fi however the resort provides no entertainment in the evening and after 8pm it is a ghost town. The resort is lacking managment which understands customer service, organisation and planning of entertainment in the resort (FOC). The only activies they provided was during the day and extremely expensive. The staff are beautiful people — genuinly nice, however their attention to urgency and care for customer satisfaction is low. For example, Wai bar by the pool is constantly unstaffed, it was a struggle to find someone for a drink or food, and once ordered the staffs urgency and consistency of the same cocktails was very bad and unprofessional. The food was ridiculously bad and expensive. This is a massive issue with the resort, management need to quality control and reassess the price. We ended up eating in town everyday, which was half the price for double the quality. We considered upgrading to the oceanside bures, which have a beautiful view, however the +$200US on top I could not justify as the resorts service would continue to be the same whether we upgraded or not. I am giving a honest review hoping this reaches the owners/management of Korosun as it has amazing potential with better leadership, quality control and a few extra luxuries/upgrades to all accomodation.

Being a non. White some of the staff were not very attentive. The feeling was definately there from some of the staff but the rest were wonderful. Breathtaking views all around and pristine clear water in Bay. The garden view bure was substandard to what you pay for and was not clean and lots of ants crawling. Paid extra to upgrade to edgewater Bure which was clean and pleasant. However suggest you take your slippers if don't like walking barefeet in out of the bureau as no slippers are provided.

Absolutely outstanding holiday destination. The perfect mix of luxury, relaxation and adventure. Our young family made so many great memories!
