The architecture is great but the owner is not providing means and support to the staff for basic upkeep. Elevators do not work. There is no security. Room telephone does not work and Wi-Fi is not available in the rooms. Half of the al la carte menu items are not available. There are only 5-6 staff on the premise who works as waiters, receptionists, and porters. Lights in the property are switched off aftet 10pm. It becomes pitch dark. This property does not provide 4star services. It is not even equivalent to a 2 star. We initially booked rooms for four nights but because of poor reception and service, we requested hotel staff to cancel our booking. Owner made us pay for two nights but allowed only one night on the premise. The staff is asked to do more for less. Kudos for the staff for trying under the circumstances.

Beautiful hotel, large authentic rooms.

Me and my husband came here to celebrate our anniversary and are very much impressed with the beautiful Moroccan architecture and decor. We love the room, even the bathroom has a colorful bright setup and a shower with a view! We were quickly disappointed with the service, it needs considerable improvement! Half of the items on the menu are unavailable, I ordered chicken and received vegetables, I ordered a macchiato and received a cold caffè latte! Not to mention everything took forever even though we were the only table they had to serve for lunch. The elevator doesn't work (so much for handicap accessibility), the phones are down, the spa is not functional yet and the pool is not very clean (we came here for the spa and pool! ), the parking lot and pool area need lighting at night. We also recommend some landscape improvement work. We read some reviews about noise in the facility and it was worse than we expected! Everything happening in the restaurant and pool area can be heard from our room! There were people singing and banging on tables until 1 a. M. And the noise didn't stop after we complained to the reception, they just stopped responding to our calls!

Hotel with that Moroccan vibe to it and a great place for a weekend getaway.

The room we stayed at was amazing. The people working there are always smiling and serving with pleasure. But the service is really poor and the food isn’t good at all. There was a day where we were told there was no enjere.

Such a beautiful hotel with Moroccan theme in Adama, Nazareth. The room we got was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay here and the breakfast in the morning is so good!

How the great have fallen! This place had the potential of being a real jewel and it was, for a quick minute. Lack of management has made it so that this hotel now allows people to come in with cooler boxes full of alcohol and get drunk and loud. My children, husband and I did not sleep a wink last night due to a very loud and drunk group yelling and playing loud music until the early hours of the morning. Despite our protesting. It is sad that such a (formerly) beautiful and luxurious place would allow such behaviour from "good customers" at our detriment. Knowing that we have been coming since the place opened. We asked for the refund of our second night, so we could leave. That was refused. When the owner deigned show up and I tried talking to her, she shooed me out of her "office/storage place" like a smelly beggar. No apologies, only arrogance, rudeness and entitlement. I'm writing this review because she encouraged me to, as nothing posted on the internet has ever affected her. We chose to leave and lose our second night.
Kuriftu, here we come! Oh and note the tiny food portions and horrible food, with a special mention for breakfast. This place has become a punishment.

Great place, with a peaceful atmosphere n get rooms n everything just have a small suggestion on the menu choices, by making it more better than it is, test wise n portion wise.

It is the best place to have fun and take a good rest from the cities rush… best service and food… with a feeling of Harar, Italy, Spain and Morocoan architecture…

After 3 weeks trekking through Ethiopia, the one night we stayed in La Résidence was extremely welcome. The beautiful exterior and even better interior, pleasant conversations with the owner and good food made us feel as if at home. Should I ever visit Adama again, La Résidence will definitely be on my todo list.

This is definitely on of a kind hotel in Eth. The theme (indian and Arabia) is done very well. However, the hotel is poorly managed and my experience staying there for 4 nights was VERY bad. The owners, however friendly they may be to guests, should give it to a hospitality business professional.
